Popeyes Famous Fried Chicken & Biscuit

Actually, this pains me to give Popeye’s only 3 stars. I LOVE POPEYE’s.
But my most recent visit (and I go often, I actually went 2 days in a row this week), I was a little disappointed when they wouldn’t give me my usual 2 sauces: ranch and buffalo sauce.
I know I’m being petty, but I go SO OFTEN and even got an extra biscuit yesterday (I polished off 2 just in the car ride home shame on me) that I was just shocked when my local Popeye’s told me they couldn’t give me my buffalo sauce, ranch only.
I still love you but seriously? I was too shocked to even think to ask how much for the extra sauce. Yesterday’s meal just wasn’t the same.

Painfully slow service even when the place is dead. Food is standard Popeyes fare. If you don’t have time to wait then skip this Popeyes.

We love Popeyes especially this one because the employees are so friendly here, especially Carmella. We just love her! The food is always great and so is the service!

Fried chicken is my biggest weakness, and I generally love Popeye’s. Unfortunately, the service at this one makes it not worth it… okay maybe except for hormonal crisis-​type cravings.
I’ve been there a few times. The drive-​thru is SLOW. Painfully slow, even if they’re not busy at all. You pull up to the window and there’s no greeting, just a «what did you order?» And when leaving, no thank you, just a bag hand-​off and a closed window. Not good.
The couple times that I dared to venture inside were even worse. There are a ton of employees at all times, nearly always screwing around and barely paying attention to the few customers. I’m not just talking about the late-​night staff that they hire, but management as well, and I’m not talking about one isolated incident. The place was a bit dingy too, even for a fast-​food joint.

I’m assuming they get great business since there was a huge wall of fried chicken just waiting to be served in the back. maybe we came at an odd time
Chicken was good, loved the fried crawfish. Staff was nice and helpful, offering to let us change the order since we were still lookin at new things on the menu we didn’t notice the first time we ordered.
Bathroom was pretty clean, but wasn’t a fan of it for some reason. unisex, cold, blah, but who cares, its a bathroom, we’re here for the chicken.
