It’s kinda pathetic to say that high school was the best years of my life, but they were. I mean, how could you not love cutting class and walking around Lodi Lake or going to a house party during 3rd period? It’s so funny to go back to Lodi during the holidays and see everyone who is still there. I thought the motto at Lodi High was, «Can’t wait to get out of this town» but apparently there wasn’t much follow through. My fear is that too many teens are drinking way too much b/c there’s not enough to do. I knew at least 20 people who graduated as alcoholics. It’s a problem that’s faced students in Lodi for a long, long time, and something needs to be done about it. I thought I received an adequate education at Lodi High, but looking back it was kind of a joke. During my sophomore & junior years I had like 70 absences from cutting school, yet I maintained a 4.0 in AP/Honors classes. So, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to pass on through. But maybe things have changed? Go Flames!
