I am very picky about Chinese food and I love Dragon Lite deli! Always fresh and always good. My family has been getting the Cantonese dinner for four for many years. In the spring they have deep fried asparagus which is also very good!

This has become our go-to place for Chinese in Lodi. So far the Sesame Chicken is my favorite. It’s sometimes hard to find a place that uses good quality meat(especially chicken). I’ve enjoyed all the chicken dishes I have tried there.

Love coming here few times every once in awhile for their delicious chow mein, potstickers, and won tons. Sometimes you do have to be creative and add something if you want more flavor than it already has then there ya go. Otherwise I love the food. Not so expensive. I love getting the Royal Cuisine dinner, a lot of tummy food for two people at a not so bad price. Enough food for two people and still have leftovers!

The place is very clean. Great place for takeout and few tables to dine in. Steam vegetables, chicken foil, beef chow mein, fried asparagus, and pot stickers. Everything was fresh and delicious! We dined in but more appropriate for take out. My preference would be to provide real plates and utensils would be a wonderful addition to this great place! Thank you!

Good, cheap, quick chinese food. If you call your order in it usually only takes 15 minutes. Their spicy dried fried chicken and crab ragoon are fabulous!

I found the food lacked flavor. I’m not a huge soy sauce fan and I usually never put it on my chinese food, but I definitely added it to the chow mein so that it had some flavor. However, the Sweet and Sour pork was good. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

I am a lifelong Lodi resident and have eaten at this place a couple of times in the past and thought the food was pretty good. I was in the mood for some Chinese food recently and Id thought I would try this place out again. Unfortunately, it will be the last time I ever go here again. I ordered the kung pao chicken and barbeque pork chow mein to go. When I arrived to pick it up she said it wasn’t ready yet,(Keep in mind that there is nobody sitting inside to wait on, and the phone isn’t exactly ringing off the hook), that should of been a red flag right there but at the time I didn’t think nothing of it. When she rang me up she said my total was something like 30 dollars. I was like«HuhH» I only ordered two things. It was hard to communicate with the lady because she barely spoke English. After 10 minutes of waiting they finely had the correct order for me, I should of just left to begin with but I thought well I waited this long I might as well eat it. When I got home I opened up the boxes and I couldn’t believe how they made their kung pao chicken. It had about 2 cups of peanuts, two chopped celery’s, and some chopped up chicken that looked like it had ecoli written all over it. I tasted it and it was awful, it wasn’t even spicy!, that is the whole point of kung pao chicken is for it to be spicy, a high school cooking class would of done a better job making kung pao chicken than they do. I called them on the phone to complain about my order but unfortunately, you just can’t communicate with them. I threw it all away and I vowed to never return to this place again.

My go to cheap fast Chinese place for lunch! They have great rice plates I love the Mongolian beef rice plate. They also have a good weight watchers menu. This is a good place to order for dinner too they are very reasonably priced and have good portion sizes. And they have the best honey walnut prawns ever you’d think they would be from an upscale Chinese restaraunt. Very good BBQ pork chow mein and fried rice sometimes the sweet and sour pork can me on the hard side and the chow mein isn’t always fresh or else i would give four stars. This is a take out place but there are a couple tables if you want to eat there.

We were very disappointed with our food. Egg flower soup was terrible. The broth was slimy and the consistency of soupy jello. The lemon chicken was over cooked and was hard and dry. The two other dishes were just as bad. We ended up throwing away $ 25 of food.

Ill have to admit I have gone in here in the past and its been Ok food. But the last few times Ive eaten from here the food smells… and tastes like Dog Food. I dont know if its a type of oil they use, or if they are just dirty. But all of those few times it made me and my family sick. I prefer Chop Chop anyway, but its not always open. i guess now Ill just wait. :)

We tried Dragon Lite for the first time tonight for dinner. They have all the Chinese favorites. We ordered the Cashew Chicken, Foil Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken. Everything was hot and fresh when we got it home. I will be back for sure.

This place couldn’t have changed that much in 2 years, unless it’s under new ownership. It was awful when I bought over $ 100.00 worth of the nastiest food ever! The fried shrimp were just little tiny slivers of shrimp, coated in puffy batter. The chicken was missing from one container, pork was missing. I wondered why the girls at the desk were laughing as we left. We discovered all this when we got to my niece’s house in Lodi. I was from out of town and didn’t know what a rip off this place was!

When you live in a little town like Lodi and it’s pushing 9:00 on a Sunday night, your options are limited when your craving for Chinese food kicks in. My first two choices were closed and I was looking for something quick and easy. I checked Unilocal and saw that Dragon Lite Deli was still open. Pajama clad and looking my Sunday evening finest, I found the restaurant to appear closed(despite the glowing neon ‘Open’ sign in the window). I asked the lady working behind the counter if they were indeed closed when she quickly assured me that they were open. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to eat, all that I knew was that it needed to be spicy. I asked for suggestions of spicy entrees and was given a few options. I chose the Mongolian chicken. I paid and sat while I waited. Possibly the fastest cooked meal EVER! Literally two minutes later, I was handed a generously stuffed white Styrofoam to-go container full of Mongolian chicken and lots of white rice. My to-go bag included my meal, a few napkins, a paper menu, and a fortune cookie. How nice of them, I had all that I needed to devour my meal, all in one bag! The food was descent. Not great, not horrible… just descent. What does descent mean? Well, I wouldn’t seek out Dragon Lite Deli over other local Chinese food establishments, but I wouldn’t shun them at 8:40 on a Sunday night either. The sauce of the Mongolian chicken had a nice flavor and the spice was mild-medium(not spicy like I had asked for). The rice was a little dry, which I guess is what you get at 8:40 on a Sunday night. The chicken had many of those pieces that you see or bite into and stop yourself saying, what part of the chicken is that? Not so good. I picked through the chicken, ate a portion of the rice, sauce and onion and then enjoyed my fortune cookie. Not my first choice in Chinese food but it did the trick.

They are a step up from your standard greasy take out. Highly recommend the chow fun.

Favorite Chinese place ever! I’d recommend something, but there’s nothing we haven’t liked after 15 years living nearby.
