This festival is merely average, which certainly surpasses the awful Stockton Asparagus Festival, one of the most forgettable events of my long life… Most of the attractions are rather predictable, but the fair is not too bad. My wife and I were lucky enough to attend during afternoon free admission, for the entrance fee would not have been worth the money otherwise.

Typical fair food and fairgrounds. I think they could use some updating for sure. But the corn dog was quite tasty.

I enjoy this local festival. It’s great! However, $ 30 for a wrist band to ride the rides is ridiculous. Who really wants to go on Kids Night on Thursday? Most people have to work the next day. Kids have to go to school. And why on earth would I want to run into every person I have ever known in such a small town? No thanks. I wouldn’t mind paying the high price for the wrist band if they allowed parents to go on the rides for free with their kids that require a parent to go with them. Do I really look like I want to ride a train around in circles with my 3 year old? Or walk through a «fun house» that is designed for small kids? No, not really. But I will do it for safety purposes. But to charge me to do this is a bit ridiculous. Otherwise, great festival in a small town. Oh & I only go for the tacos and the smiles on my kids faces.

Meh what can you say. Small town fair. Couple of buildings of vendors where you can grab some pens, flyswatters, balloons or other fair swag. Did pick up a nice ford logo hat by spinning a car at the ford booth. More chance booths than rides in the amusement area. $ 28 for a wristband. Really long lines at all the ticket booths. $ 5 to park and free entry on Friday until 5:00. Well saw a few people hadn’t seen since last year and had a cold beer so all good. Seems like everyone in town will stop by before it is done.

For the last couple of years I thought I would be booking the Lodi Grape Festival for my wedding reception. Brandy was very nice and answered emails promptly. I viewed the halls twice before deciding to pay the deposit. It was then that I was told that for 250 people(about 50 of those would be children), it would require 5 security guards! FIVE at $ 22/hr for a wedding. It was going to cost me almost $ 1000 for security. Brandy was very nice and refunded my money even though it was non-refundable. The customer service is great and the halls are nice, but they are not worth the additional security guard charges.

I’ve been to Lodi Grape Festival for years, whenever I was in town(Stockton), I’d attend the fair, this year, I was lucky enough to win tickets for two at work, so I went to fair with my besti friend. There are all kinds of things found at the fair: Foods, Entertainment, Ars & Crafts, Music and Carnival Games & Rides. This year, my goal was to try Turkey Leg that I missed at Disney World, but finding the one at State Fair delicious, but the one at Lodi Grape Festival very salty, so I brought it home after having few bites on it, as usual, I watched magician/joggler and hypnotic show before going home. I had fun. I’d attend the fair next year again if I nothings keeps my away from home.
