Best beer store around!
Pros: Craft beer Selection, Service, Reward system, reasonable price.
Cons: Google shows wrong address, it’s in front of LA fitness! (Nearly same lot)
I went in here for a sought after beer. Despite an unluvky shipment, the beers were available to anyone who called. None of that «only for our best customers» garbage and NO price gouging. I only needed to make my own sixer to earn their punch card, which was more of a service to me than them. I feel this store found a very happy medium between providing good beer to anyone whilst rewarding repeat customers. At similar stores in the area you are forced into over paying and/​or having to buy out of date beer to acquire the limited stuff.
Beer selection: top notch in this department. One of the best I’ve seen to be honest. The make your own six pack is organized well and has a plethora of stuff you don’t normally see. They also have a cooler with most of the beers that are on the make your own sixer shelf. Typically when I go into a beer store there are 2 things I look for, selection and prices. I’m happy to say both these departments get a big thumbs up. I’m sick of hearing «we don’t take advantage of our customers» only to be robbed of all but your first born. Id say their prices were the same or a buck higher than a supermarket… when you consider the advantages a supermarket has that is great and obviously the selection is not even comparable. Their cellar is legit!
Service: wow, a beer store that actually takes care of you regardless of how often you go in? I called up and they were knowledgeable and informative. As a first time customer I walked in and the beer rep. Was friendly and the workers immediately assisted me. The owner took bout ten minutes talking in depth with me, building an awesome relationship, and informing me bout his store. A gesture that really separates this store from its competition.
Loyalty System: Love this. So if you make a six pack 10 times this enables you to buy a sought after beer. One of those beers you break your back for to try and acquire. I only peeked into the cellar but we’re talking 4 year vintage of kbs, blacknote, bourbon county, Sunday morning stout, cognac jesus, and many more. The beers are organized into tiers. The first tier is good but not great and with each shelf higher you get a better selection. Each time you fill up your card you move on to the next tier. It’s a really fun system and provides an awesome incentive to be a repeat customer!
Also for purchase, excellent selection of home brewing equipment, liquor, wine, and tobacco products (if that’s your thing.)
In closing, the struggle within is real… half of me wants to keep this place a secret so I can hoard their beers but the elite in me wants to inform everyone about the gem that is wine barrel plus. I feel there are 3 stores in a mile or 2 radius of this location that all provide a good selection; however, wine barrel plus out does them due to competitive pricing AND great service. If your a craft beer enthusiast you’ll be overjoyed if you go in and if you dont your only hurting yourself (and providing me with more beer acquisition opportunities!)

This is the #1 place to get home brewing equipment and advice. If you ever have a problem with a purchase, these guys are immediately concerned! We also built up a nice relationship with these guys and got a good deal on the liquor, wine, and keg for our wedding. Outstanding service and quality!

I’m an avid homebrewer and this is the only place I go for my supplies. They even have a staff member that is strictly responsible for beer/​home brewing who has taught me a lot, just through conversations. The Wine Barrel has by far the best selection of kegs in stock; most places only stock cheap lagers, they always have a mixture of standard beers, common microbrews and some uncommon microbrews in a variety of sizes. The bottled beer selection is second to none, with a ‘make your own’ six-​pack section as well.
Beer isn’t all they do. They have one of the best wine selections around, as well as a humidor with a wide range of cigars.
I’ve always had great customer service at the Wine Barrel, so why wouldn’t I continue to give them my business? I drive 20 minutes one way to go here, because it’s the best around.

Great for homebrewing supplies and craft beer. It’s pretty much the only place I stop at for beer anymore. The guys here are friendly, helpful, and approachable.

I collect Marilyn Monroe wines and since I am in Canada, dont get a chance to buy any in my area, I was pleased at the great selection of Marilyn Monroe wines available as well as other wines, beers, liquors, we were treated so great by staff, very accomodating and helpful, made making choices of wines much easier. They even gave me a free gift of a wine rack to store my purchases! Thank you so much to all staff and for having such a wonderful selection! You made my visit well worth it.

I love this store have been shopping here for over 20 years. Literally have an enormous selection of spirits, beers, wines and locally brewed beers.

I’ve been coming here for years for two reasons: selection and quality. They have so many options when it comes to beer, liquor, wine and cigars that they put most other places in the area to shame. They also have many hard to find beers and liquors, including some locally crafted favorites.
As Kat mentioned, if you can’t find it, they’ll get it for you. I’ve done that a number of times, and my order usually arrives in a day or two. Prices are fair on most items, but don’t be surprised if you walk out of there having spent too much money — or traded your first born… or an organ. (Last time they got a lobe of my liver… suckers!)
