Myself and my two boys love this place. They like to pick from the huge selection of yummy toppings and so do I.

I like the concept, but it’s not the best pizza I’ve ever had. It’s definitely not better than my two favorite local pizza joints. The crust reminded me of a pre-made crust you’d get from the grocery store. However, the restaurant is clean and the kid who took my order was pretty nice. The quality and variety of the toppings was great, too.

I really enjoyed the whole experience. Its kinda a neat thing to create your own pizza with different toppings amd sauces. 3 sizes with 3 prices and you can top it any way you want. We tried 3 different ones amd they were all really good. We did go a little nuts with one and put a ton on it. It was a bit difficult to eat… lol. But good. Try this place out and look for coupons!

I cant believe we waited so long to try this place! Great price, service and pizza. We’ve been there twice and experienced great service. The MOD fired pizza is perfect for two. It’s thinner(but not too thin) crust makes it perfectly filling. For some dessert try the cinnamon bread. It’s basically a smaller, thin elephant ear without the grease. Ah, good food!

This is GREAT pizza done fast. Pick off the menu or build your own(which is what I suggest). 3 sizes of pizza with three set prices no matter how many ingredients you add. Beer and wine for adults. Fountain and healthy drink choices for the kids. Shakes too You can be in and out in 30 minutes if in a rush and have had a great meal. Two thumbs up to the staff and management who always seems to be the same. Not a lot of turnover in staff. Greeted as you walk in and thanked as you walk out

Very nice restaurant. One thing that I did like was when I walked in an all I heard was a Hello… Then 3 other staff members hello. I felt really welcomed. Very happy go lucky staff seems like everyone worked well together and everything. The pizza I ordered was amazing.

Love this place! So cheap and you can get any toppings you want. There were some small spots on the crust that were a tiny bit too burned tasting for me but that was no big deal. I also got caramelized pear iced tea and it was SO good. I don’t know if it’s a staple there or if they have different teas but that was so good. The old fashioned lemonade was good too. They also have milkshakes and floats. The pizzas were done In about 5 minutes after we ordered. The workers were super nice. You walk up to the bar and go through the ingredients to choose what you want on your pizza. A lot of choices! I would love if they got kalamata olives as a topping.

Definitely digging these«all the toppings you care for» concepts. Came here multiple times(yes multiple) during the holidays. AMBIANCE– I think they’re going for a «Cheers» kind of vibe. As soon as you walk in the door everyone yells«hello» and you can see the store adorned with pics from what appear to be other MOD pizzas around the nation. Clean, bright, and plenty of room, definitely a good place to grab a quick lunch or a casual get together with friends. SERVICE– as I mentioned, everyone greets you when you walk in which is kind of nice. As you come up, they ask if you’ve ever been, in case you need help navigating the menu. Most of the people working here appear to be college aged kids, and have yet to encounter one who wasn’t helpful or friendly. MENU– as I mentioned before, this place lets you do as little or as many toppings as you want for 1 price. You can do a personal size pizza for about $ 5(8 inch), $ 8 for a 12 inch, or $ 11 for a «deep dish»(they take two of their crusts to create a more solid base). They also have dessert pizzas, salads(that are served up in similar sizes) and serve beer, if that’s your thing. MANY, MANY toppings– from the sauce(different reds, alfredo, pesto), veggies(brussel sprouts, roasted garlic, artichoke hearts), meats(canadian bacon, chicken, salami), you’re bound to find something for everyone. FOOD– my kids only want cheese pizza(which seems like such a waste). Thankfully they have a discounted price for just cheese pizza. My wife seems a little gun shy, but I always pile on the toppings. We typically do the pesto sauce, which is very tasty. Add on about 12 toppings(and anchovies on the side) and you’ve got a meal. My wife and I typically split a 12 inch(though i could finish one by myself) and it seems like just enough. Depending on the number of toppings you get, it can make the pizza a bit flimsy, but just fold it over and you’re good to go. OVERALL– definitely a fan. I’m not the biggest endorser of «chains», but this one is certainly one to check out. CELEBRITYRATING– Eminem

I’ve eaten a few times at this location when out on that side of town. MOD is hands down the best when it comes to the quick fire B.Y.O. pizza places. They have a large assortment of items to choose from so the combinations are pretty endless. They also have some pre-configured options too, but every time I have gone there I stick to making my own. Mine usually consists of their White Sauce, Arugula, Chicken, Bacon, Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Red Onion, Mushrooms, Roasted Garlic, and Pesto Drizzle. What’s really cool about this place is that they offer beer and wine. There aren’t many options to choose from, but it is nice that they are available if I am in the mood to have a real drink with my meal. As for the other drinks they offer, they have the one and only Mr. Pibb! Not Pibb Xtra, but actual Mr. Pibb! I really wish I didn’t give up drinking pop a few years back because my mouth was watering for a tall cold glass of that sweet sweet goodness. Oh Mr. Pibb, how I miss thee.

First time here at MOD Pizza and it was… good. MOD Pizza is a pretty new to the Livonia area and good location. First thing you’ll notice are the workers greeting you. They will yell«HELLO!!» As soon as your hands touch that door handle to walk in. Great way to start the experience. I created my own pizza and side salad. I love arugula so I got that with some extra toppings. Veggies looked fresh but the lady making my salad put a little too much dressing for my tasting. I created my own pizza with red sauce, mozzarella, olives, roasted garlic, pepperoni and later topped it with fresh chopped basil after it was cooked. The meats didn’t look that great. Dry actually. So I Kept it simple for my first time. Thin crust… My favorite. You can also pick from their specialty pizzas if you are the indecisive type. Pizza was good. Crispy crust, quick and good flavors. I paid about $ 13.50 for my personalized pizza and side salad. I think that’s a little too much. I felt like it was worth about $ 10. Overall, great experience and good pizza. I think it’s worth the try. Would I come back? Maybe.

Pizza is my favorite food group with a close second being breakfast foods lol. So to come across MOD on a late night was a dream. Why? Because it’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a pizza place. For one price I get to choose from several different sizes of pie w/a gluten free option, an array of veggies, cheeses and meat choices. MOD offers friendly & speedy service and a cold brew(or cherry black lemonade) to wash it all down. Salads or cheese bread for the sides and cinnastix or milkshake for dessert. The possibilities are endless and the menu offers some tasty pizzas as well. I’ve never been here during their peak hours(lunch time and dinner) to speak on speed of service during those times. The dine in option is available which I found to be pleasant and clean. I plan on bringing a group here in the future I think they would really enjoy it.

Sweet baby Jesus(I go to church, it’s cool) this is what I needed from pizza. So it’s a subway pizza joint, you can have salad or pizza salad, but who are you trying to impress? Do the pizza. Then pick the sauce, the veggies and meat and wait 5 minutes while the thin crust crispies. All the toppings you want, same price. Dairy free cheese. Let me dispell a few rumors/other reviews that had me concerned. 1. Loud. Uhhhhhh yeah. It is totes loud. Bose speakers overhead? Yup. It is jimmy Johns-esque. Got it? 2. Cheap dough. Not sure on this one. We aren’t in Sicily, people! Relax and add extra bacon. 3. Cheap toppings. Ok, it is chopped stuff with dough and cheese. There is not escargot within the toppings, but there are two types of bacon. I totally dig it. There is beer on tap too. One bummer(only 1) is the cutlery is plastic.

Once an «apizza» purist, I’ve got to admit I’ve become a fan of the quick-fired, seven-dollar pies currently sweeping the country with franchises springing up everywhere. MOD Pizza is a relatively new establishment in Livonia very similar to Blaze Pizza and others that offer a customized pie cooked at insanely hot ovens. My pizza was decked out with a base of ‘rooms and ‘ronin with double onions, green peps, roasted red peps and a bit of sweet pineapple. For seven bucks, this pie rocks. With a relatively low franchise buy-in cost, I fully expect these outlets to exploded all over town. MOD is not a Buddy’s but then it’s not trying to be. Excellent value in simple digs.

Bring your appetite! And your patience! I came with about 5 other ladies for dinner on a Friday night. I had anxiously awaited the opening of this«design your own» pizza restaurant The place was packed! It was 6:30 which is prime dinner hour so a wait was expected. This place is neat in that you can pick whatever type of pizza and salad you would like. They offer suggestions/ideas, but if you want a pizza loaded with meat, you can have it. If you are a vegetarian, you can all the veggies you want. The 6 of us each choose a pizza to our liking. I ended up ordering the Dillion James, which is like a margarita pizza, but I added a few additional toppings. The sauce was good. The toppings were nice, I just though it was a tad under cooked. It was clear the cheese wasn’t completely melted. I would have asked for them to cook it a little longer, but the line was huge and I didn’t want to take any more time. The prices are very reasonable. I ended up getting a mini pizza and a mini caesar salad and it was $ 10. They offer bottled beer, a few beers on tap and a few wines on tap. Unless you like really fruity wine, I don’t recommend it. It’s in a good location with a lot of stores near by and plenty of parking. The staff were extremely friendly. I will be sure to stop by, again!

I came here for a Unilocal event and LOVED my experience! I think the concept of «Made on Demand» pizzas is awesome especially when the ingredients are sourced well and there is such a variety of toppings you can add to your pizza. The prices are reasonable and the drinks are delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We started with the garlic stick and ended with cinnamon sticks. They were pretty delicious but the main fun surrounded the pizzas we were able to create! My sister had been raving about MOD when she came back from Seattle and I am so happy I got to experience it. You don’t here often of a company that cares for their employees as MOD does. I am absolutely excited for the Northville location that is opening soon!

What else is there to say but purely amazing!!! I had a custom made pizza with pesto sauce, mozz cheese, grilled chicken, bacon, artichoke, canadian bacon, mushrooms, roasted garlic and asiago cheese on top with balsamic fig finishing sauce. It was beyond delicious. The ingredients taste fresh which makes a huge differences in the taste. The crust had a nice crispiness from the oven. Not sure if its wood or coal burning, but its way better than the other pizza joints that use electric or gas. I also had their cheese and garlic stick which were very delicious. But what really had my attention was the cinnamon sticks and the cinnamon glaze!!! Pure heaven in a condiment cup. Im sure they didn’t put crack in it but omg it was so addicting. It can really be its own dessert !! I’ll be patiently waiting until Mod decides to bottle and sell it. They have a wide variety of beverages that include beer and wine. Come on people whats better than beer and pizza lol they also have milkshakes but I decided on a strongbow hard cider and their house made blackberry lemonade. The lemonade is so good. You can tell they make it fresh everyday. Overall i would highly recommend this place to everyone. If your looking for a casual spot with good food and beverages this is your place, whether you want to dine in or carry out. Cant wait until your Novi location opens.

I adore brick oven pizza so I was really excited to try this place! Their pizzas are crispy but not dry and the best part is that you choose your own toppings and can put on as many as you want — all for about $ 8! I enjoyed the beer on tap as well as the berry lemonade. The servers were welcoming and knowledgeable, almost like a Zingerman’s of pizza! For dessert I recommend the cinnamon strips. Like the pizza, they are thin and crispy, perfect for just a little something sweet at the end of a meal.

So many good things to say about this place. First off, the price is right. They don’t charge you extra for toppings like some places do. Next, the staff. They are super friendly and make you feel right at home. It kind of reminds me of a jersey mikes where the staff actually talk to you and ask you how things are. The manager, Paul, was a super nice guy. He explained the history of the restaurant to us and answered all of my crazy questions. The food is pretty great too. You get to pick your own toppings right in front of you. The garlic strips come with three different dipping sauces, pesto, ranch, red sauce. The dessert strips come with this amaaaaazing strawberry sauce that they make in house. They have beer and wine on tap. Oberon was there yesterday. They also have blackberry lemonade which is to die for. I will be for sure be back and taking friends with me. Cheap delicious pizza, beer and an inviting atmosphere? Yes please.

I can’t get enough of these fast — casual pizza places. Excellent food for the price. Being the pizza fan that I am, I love that there’s a place that’s close to work where I can get a high quality pie for lunch without having to wait. I highly recommend this place to anyone. My only complaint is that I wish they had the spicy marinara like they have at Blaze. However, this place has beer on tap, which is just plain awesome! Try MOD. You won’t be disappointed.
