2.5 stars not quite a 3. So so chicken panini. Chicken was reheated which causes it to be dry, the grilled onions were partially grilled, and the pasta salad was way too peppery. The panini bread was good tho. Much better options. This would only be good as a last resort of other nearby options were not available.

I changed my review because the more I come here, the more I love it. I really enjoy making this part of my routine commute to work. The staff is always welcoming. Best breakfast is the egg platter with potatoes and toast. They make a pretty good breakfast sandwich as well.

Can be tricky to find, as it’s on a center island of Rt 10. Mobile Maps sends you a mile away from the actual location. They have outside tables which is nice; the view/noise is of the traffic on Rt 10. There are inside tables as well. The store was fairly clean and the staff was friendly. Extensive menu. I had their Mitola Panini. It was just ok, not great. Panini and green tea was almost $ 11. When I entered the store, there was a swarm of 12 flies(I actually counted them) circling around under the air conditioning vent. It was odd. They were just lazily flying around and around in a circle, the entire time I was in the store. Maybe they were hot?

The subs are amazing. Just about any combo you get I can guarantee you will be happy. I have had roast beef and cheese subs As well as hot subs like pastrami and a cheese steak. The service is super friendly and parking is right in the front off of route ten. Sandwiches are made quick and you don’t have to worry about it taking too long on your lunch break. You can also order in advance. I am unsure if they deliver.

If you have good chicken salad, you win in my book. They have the best chicken salad I have ever had and chicken salad is basically my favorite thing in the orld, so I am an expert.

Having grown-up in the area I had never been before today… and sad to say I won’t be coming back. My wife and I were out and about running errands and worked up an appetite for sandwiches. We stopped in and were immediately overwhelmed by their incredibly large menu and vast array of options. The only problem is the good points stopped there. The people behind the counter seemed very disheveled and unsure of how to get from order(taken by one person) to making the sandwich(made by someone else who was nowhere to be seen and clearly didn’t read the ticket). I ordered a grilled chicken wrap off their menu and got a lightly filled wrap without some of the ingredients that the menu said it came with(although I must say the grilled chicken was rather good and moist). My wife ordered a simple sandwich and still half of what she ordered on it were missing when we got home. Both are two major strikes against. In the deli world when you order your sandwich item by item you clearly are asking for those ingredients. The third strike was the price. Sorry but for two small sandwiches we paid over NYC prices in suburban NJ.

Stopped in for a quick lunch today and the food was pretty good. They have a terrific selection of hot and cold lunch choices. My wife had a chicken parmesan sandwich that she liked, and I chose the hot roast beef sandwich with gravy, and added fresh mozzarella. The roast beef is cooked in-house and was very good. The gravy was a bit weak and tasted liked a jarred gravy. Still the sandwich was okay, but paled next to the same sandwich at Fiore’s in Hoboken(but that’s a different world). The problem with Mitola is the system in use for ordering and payment. It’s a complete failure. We walked into Mitola, and about a dozen customers were standing around in front of the counter. There was no way to tell who had ordered or what the ordering process was. People who appeared to be on line to order had already placed their order, and other customers were waiting in line behind them, thinking that htey were in line to order. Orders were taken sporadically by counter personnel, and the customers then stood and waited for their food. Once cutomers received their food they then had to stand in line holding their food in order to pay. It’s not a quick process. Our wait to pay for our food was seven minutes, while our food cooled. At the register, we were finally given a tray to carry our food to our table. Totally ass-backwards. I had originally gotten into line to pay for my food while it was being prepared when it came to my attention that I might need a ticket to pay. I asked a man, who I believed to be the owner or manager if he could help me get a ticket to pay, and he told me that I needed to wait until I was served my food, and then I would be given a ticket, and THEN I would get back in line to pay. Very helpful. Mitola’s menu is good. The food is good. The service and payment system are not. Some small changes that would make it customer convenient and focused could change my whole opinion.

So I was running errands on my lunch and they took longer than I thought so on my way back to work I stopped at Mitola II for a quick pick up. The people were friendly, the food was good and they serve Thumans, huge plus. I ordered a Panini, it took a little while to get but it was worth the wait, they also had some snack and cakes strategically placed by the register. I ended up getting a delicious red velvet cupcake. If you’re in the area and need a quick lunch, it’s worth a stop.

Mitola’s is my favorite local deli(the old Natale’s on Columbia Turnpike, a close second). Close to work, a great staff, and excellent food. The Mitola Panini(grilled chicken, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers and pesto mayo), and the Turkey Club Panini(turkey, Swiss, bacon, cole-slaw and Russian dressing), are two of my regular lunches($ 6.50 ea.). Both are fantastic! The triple decker club sandwiches are also favorites. It’s a deep menu with burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, Sloppy Joes, subs, salads, and soups. It’s all good and you’re going to find something you like. When I’m in early, I like the Breakfast Wrap; eggs, potatoes, cheese and bacon(but you can get yours with sausage, Taylor ham, or ham), salt, pepper, ketchup, for $ 6.25. Everything you need to fill your belly in a delicious soft tortilla wrap. Gets your day off to a great start. The place can get crowded at lunch so if you’re in a rush, I’d recommend phoning in your order so it’s ready when you arrive. Willie and the crew do their best to get you ordered up and out in a hurry but they’re never too busy to stop and ask how your day is going. A very friendly group. When the weather’s nice you can sit out on the patio, shaded by the trees, and listen to the cars whipping down Route 10. When the weather’s bad, sit inside, read the paper, and eavesdrop on the regulars(there’s always something good going on). Can’t leave the office? They deliver. I love this place. You will too!

Found this to be a good all around place. Looks like the people who work there really like it so it makes the atmosphere pleasant. Food was clean cut and good. I shall return.

Good food and friendly service. I get breakfast there on my way to work sometimes. They cater to make things the way you’d like them. Fresh and fast. Generally, I’m a fan.

Great deli in LIvingston! They make fresh sandwiches from excellent deli meat and freshly baked bread. You really can’t go wrong with their prices or quality. The owners are really really nice too, the types of people who really put some thought into their product.
