People who were working seemed miserable, and we ended up leaving when we realized they do not make fresh sandwiches there. They have pre made sandwiches, but if you are planning on having a sandwich made there on a fresh bagel, this is not the place. They will snap at you that they don’t make fresh sandwiches. Will not be returning. I’ll go somewhere I can have a fresh taylor, ham and cheese or an egg and cheese bagel made on the spot. We never would have even bothered coming had we known.

Literally the best thing you can eat in the morning is a toasted flagel with raspberry cream cheese from bagels 4 u, they’ve got the best bagels in town, I just wish they stayed open after 3.

Good bagels, good coffee! Definitely go for the jalapeño everything bagel. Iced coffee comes with coffee ice cubes — nice touch for coffee lovers.

I’m never disappointed coming here. Bagels are usually as warm as the shop or warmer. What I’m saying is they have no air conditioning, but that keeps the bagels warm. They have a wide variety of spreads and the coffee is pretty good. Service is very speedy — the lines can get 10 deep on a Saturday /Sunday morning. Let me warn you about the parking. Remember 10 deep? The parking lot holds 4 cars.

Delicious. Better than any place you will go, even in Manhattan. There is literally always a line there, and parking can be tricky. Well worth it though! Go forth for tasty bagels.

The bagels I ordered were good. But with so many bagel shops in New Jersey the place was convenient to where I was.

Pretty darn good bagel place. I recently ordered a taylor ham egg and cheese on an everything bagel, and I thought that there could have been a better ratio of taylor ham on the bagel. Still, it was very good. They have a good selection of bagels. Also, they have good coffee.

I only shop here for the ground coffee, cream cheese and iced coffee. They use coffee ice cubes so that is cool. But the bagels are tough. Gave the extra star for excellent and speedy service. Never a long wait.

Best bagel place in Livingston by far! The bagels are fresh and the spreads to die for. If you’re in the area and looking for a bagel, Bagels 4 U CANNOT be overlooked.

Chewiness: 2 Crispiness: 2 Service: 4 Amt of bagel/$spent: 4 Got the Bialy, Pumpernickel, Marble Rye and tried the mini raisin knot. Best of the bunch was rye in terms of flavor but none of them had much flavor. The dough they use doesn’t seem to have as much gluten content as other bagel places. I would recommend Super Duper right around the corner if you’re looking for a great bagel in Livingston.

How did I not know about this place? Their bagels are by far the best I’ve had anywhere in years. Yes, parking is not great. Yes, the service is almost completely unfriendly and non-English speaking. But oh those bagels! And their lox spread is second to none, fresh, fresh, fresh and chock full of lox pieces. Worth the carb splurge!

The worst bagel I ever had! I had an everything bagel. You would think that Livingston would have the best bagels. This bagel was tough, chewy and lacked flavor. Don’t waste your time!

Bagels 4 U has some of the softest, freshest bagels in town and a variety of unique and standard delicious cream cheeses. I would go here before any other place In LIvingston to get bagels!

FAVORITEBAGELINLIVINGSTON. Their homemade cream cheeses are divine… my favorite is a toss up between the jalapeño & the olive and pimento spread. An added plus is they have most of their bagels in a whole wheat option :)

This chain is the closest we have to the old Watson Bagel of Newark & Irvington that were legendary — maybe because of their ovens with brick and sand bottoms and the high quality of Newark water(which brought all the breweries to Newark at one time). see

Alright here we go again. I am a bagel snob, I think perfect bagels are nice and crunchy on the outside while having that nice gooey break inside with a bold flavor atop. Here’s what you get from this joint… The consistency was on point. Nice crunch on the outside and great bread texture on the inside. Spreads were great. I had the nova lox spread and it rocked. Excellent really. A bit pricey but I am not deterred. Here’s the thing, I ordered an everything bagel and there was nothing. Seriously NOTHING on the top but a few scraps of everything. I was truly disappointed. The coffee was pretty good too. Line was long but moved fast so I wasn’t annoyed. They look like they also have a great selection of salads, spreads and sandwiches.

Huge selection of bagels, obviously. I was impressed. Lots of creamcheeses, variation of deli sandwiches they can make, and AMAZING soup! Chicken dumpling was so good, plus two little rolls come with your soup.
