Holiday Inn Hotel Syracuse-Liverpool-Exit 37

After a long day of driving and after a short relaxing time, we decided to have a quick and light dinner at the Holiday Inn Restaurant. We did not felt like driving and since our hotel is connected with the Holiday Inn Hotel and restaurant, we decided to go there. We also had received a 15% discount coupon, provided by our hotel if we dinned there. The restaurant has such a dull and unappealing look, so old fashion. Waitress, not the friendly one. A simple chicken club sandwich tasted worst than one of those that you get at the frozen section at a supermarket, uuuug. Fry calamares are also the frozen one and too salty. Chicken guacamole sandwich, no flavor, not fresh lettuce and guacamole is also not the fresh one, is the one that comes package container. The water almost killed me too! Tastes horrible. What a disappointment coming to this place. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all.
THANK goodness we have a kitchenette in our room and brought our own fresh deli tuna fish and baguette! My dinner is safe for tonight at least. Hope my hotel offers a good breakfast. I’ve bookmarked some good rating places to go eat, for the rest of our vacations.

This Holiday Inn is really close to Syracuse Airport which is good, but it’s an older building. The Internet access was a bit spotty to say the least. The facilities were cold, especially the conference center. I don’t believe it was just a matter of not turning up the thermostat.
The catering staff for an event I attended was rude and making inappropriate jokes and just inefficient.
the staff in the Niagara Room were fast and friendly.
