Dunkin’ Donuts

Dunkin Donuts is a large international chain and I congratulate them on their ability to make one location almost indistinguishable from another in terms of product offerings. In general, I consider Dunkin to be nothing more than a purveyor of fast food. Nothing is any longer made in house as all products are baked in a central factory style baking facility, delivered to Dunkin locations in a frozen state (including pre-​cooked eggs, sausage and bacon) and either defrosted or heated to make the products ready for serving to the public. This is an observation of DD corporate and not a swipe at the individual franchiser.
WIth uniformity and blandness built in to their baked products, the distinction between DD locations is largely based on the service provided by employees, preparation of beverages and cleanliness of the facilities. I like DD because it is unpretentious and generally comfortable. I have found the level of service and attention to customers to be highly variable. Off duty, non working employees visit this location to chat, flirt and otherwise interfere with on duty employees ability to serve customers. Additionally, I find it annoying to listen to trash talk and flirting overtly and loudly happening between employees. This is not always the case and I have found excellent service to be available, at times. The service and atmosphere leans towards the first description, based on my visits.
As I have stated in other DD reviews, I almost universally find that DD locations could use a dedicated employee to clean tables, floors, seat backs etc. It is never fun to find comfortable chairs, tables and abundant electrical outlets (with USB chargers to boot) only to encounter a table, floor, chair or other surfaces covered with crumbs from last week’s customers. Customers could also be more respectful of the premises. This location is no different.
At times, this place is distinguished by, a nd excellent, hard working, polite employees.
No Wi Fi !!!

Every time I stop here my coffee is made perfectly! Clean inside as well. I will stop here before going to the one on Taft rd by where I work.
