Brian is literally the best!!! He is kind, caring, compassionate and at the same time, extremely knowledgeable and motiving! His workouts are safe yet challenging. He offers lots of variety and modifications. He expects a lot of his clients but he has a way of making you feel successful no matter what your fitness level. His honesty and integrity are top notch. And to add to it all, he is just a general good upstanding guy. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone needing guidance or assistance with their fitness goals. Brian has a wealth of knowledge about«body mechanics» and as a result, his training sessions are functional and well rounded. His studio is unpretentious and literally a hidden gem in the Livermore community!!! If you are looking for a trainer, give Brian a try; I think you will be happy you did!

I started going to Brian’s gym while I was still in high school. When I first met Brian, I was an overweight shy kid who was on track for some serious health problems. Within the first month I had already begun a transformation that is still with me today. My body fat level had just hit the 30% mark when I started(I was about 15 years old), and by the time I was in my peak shape it had dropped into the teens. Not only did Brian work me into a healthy weight lifter, he also taught me how to run. I didn’t know a 220lb guy could run 7 minute miles until I did; Brian is a great trainer and a personal friend. If you want to get in shape, he will show you the light. As a 20 year old college student, I am still exercising regularly and I still drop by to see how the gym is doing. Great experience.

He will create a fitness plan that is appropriate for your individual goals and abilities. The gym itself is large for a personal fitness studio. He has both cardio equipment and weight training equipment along with everything else to acheive getting into shape. He is established and experienced and the gym is open 6 days a week. He trains adults as well as teens and will also accomodate small groups… If you are ready to committ and get into shape with a personal trainer that will get you the results you want, The Body Mechanic is the place to start!
