We hired Henry to put in an interior barn door to separate a dining room from the front entryway. What we wound up with was a truly amazing piece of craftsmanship, that completely changed the look of our entryway.
Not only was this monstrously large barn door beautifully built from reclaimed teak, but it was installed with care and dedication that one rarely sees these days. I am simply stunned by the tolerances on the spacing, how smoothly it opens (for what must be a 300lb thing, it feels like a feather).
I have seen some of Henry’s outdoor living area work in my neighborhood and am insanely jealous. We are constantly complemented on how amazing our door looks, and I would highly recommend Henry to anyone looking for a great craftsman, carpenter, or builder.

There are not enough wonderful things to say about Ridgecrest Designs! Henry is a true craftsman and by far the most innovative and creative designer and contractor we have worked with.
Over a three phase process, Henry and his team designed and built a true backyard oasis for us, consisting of a beautiful outdoor fireplace, kitchen and bar, and the most phenomenal covered outdoor living space I have ever seen.
From the very beginning, Henry and his design team worked with us to design the space and walked us through ideas and use of materials we would never have dreamed of implementing. We knew right away we had found a firm that would deliver unique and custom results.
The crew was great: They exerted the highest level of attention to detail, were extremely tidy, always on time, and very pleasant to have around.
The results we were left with upon completion were second to none. Truly amazing. Our backyard fence is open to a path and we constantly have people stopping and staring at the beautiful backyard that Ridgecrest Designs has created.
I would recommend Henry and his team to anyone looking for something truly custom and remarkable. We want to do the inside of our home soon and I will NEVER EVER let anyone else touch our house besides this firm. We have the backyard of our dreams and Ridgecrest Designs to thank! We hired Henry and his team to update our kitchen (cabinets, counters, back splash, lighting, etc…). and we could not be happier. At the beginning of the project, Henry, Chantal and Tracy worked very closely with us to define the design and budget. The combination of Henry’s sense of functionality and Chantal and Tracy’s aesthetic was perfect. They were attentive to our needs and wants and made sure each item that needed to be purchased for the project was not only high quality, but within our overall budget. They also came up with unique ideas just for us that we would have never come up with on our own.
When the work on the kitchen itself started, Cesar, Doug, Manuel and Chava became part of our family. They were in our kitchen (in a good way) every day for 5 – 6 weeks. They were always on time, respectful, trustworthy and the hardest working guys out there. They prepped everything to make sure dust and dirt would not make it to the rest of our house, and swept and vacuumed our floors at the end of each day. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was exceptional and they didn’t miss one single thing. They made a point to communicate progress with us on a regular basis and were always available if we had questions.
Henry was present throughout the entire project and always available for questions or anything else we needed. At the end of the project he made sure to personally check everything out with follow up for anything that was not absolutely perfect. We also finished the project exactly on time and on budget!
The end result of this project is a beautiful, functional new kitchen that fits our lifestyle. Henry and his team were not only exceptional but really fun to work with. They have the highest work ethic and integrity and I would highly recommend them.

Ridgecrest Construction just finished remodeling our fireplace and it looks awesome! We were on a budget and wanted to be realistic about the results but Ridgecrest absolutely exceeded our expectations! They transformed our out-​dated fireplace into a custom-​looking masterpiece! The job was performed flawlessly and on time with a thorough clean up at the end of each day. It was a pleasure to work with Henry and Cesar. For them customer satisfaction is a top priority. Henry and his team have an attention to detail which you can only dream about. (something increasingly rare these days) They listened carefully to what we had in mind and the results did not disappoint. The wall-​to-​wall bookshelves and cabinets they custom built are a work of art, solidly construction and finished to perfection. I would highly recommend them to anyone who cares about quality to the last detail.

Henry completed some major renovations in our home including a complete remodel of the kitchen, family room, guest bathroom, master bathroom and laying of over 1000 square feet of tile. His work is awesome. His workmanship is OUTSTANDING! He keeps working until it is right and looks beautiful upon completion. He is honest and reliable. He shows up when he says he will and works hard throughout the day. He is a professional and gives more than he promises. His pricing is fair. I strongly recommend Henry and will use him for all future projects.
