In-N-Out Burger

I just got back from Chicago to visit my parents so on our way back from the Oakland airport we stopped by In N Out. I missed this place more than my own family, not really but it’s close. I had a double double protein style with animal fries and that’s as close as you can get to tasting heaven. No matter what you get here I’m never disappointed with the food or service for that matter.

I did not eat inside, I only did the drive through but wow! They must get PACKED because I have never seen an in n out with a parking lot designed like this. It plans for a long long line, it wraps all the way down and around. But thankfully I came during a slow time! It was around 2:30pm on a Sunday. My mom and I got the #2 animal style. We asked for extra peppers, spread, and ketchup. The girl at the window had everything prepared & the food didn’t take too long.
The food was delicious! As always. I feel bad for the jack n the box around the corner.
I went inside the use the restroom and it was kinda busy. The restrooms were clean and very well maintained. I liked the outdoor seating available and it was in a pretty good location. I was getting gas at the chevron down the street & I almost missed it… they need a bigger yellow sign! Last month when I came out I ended up at Wendy’s because we saw the yellow too late. for shame.

I went to this branch. Everything was good. Very friendly staff. The place was clean.

It’ll always be time for InNOut burger. I really love this place. It’s almost always perfect and the service is the nicest around. Love the secret menu options and the ice tea.

My mom and I were getting drive-​through and Kyle was helping us with our order. He was one of the best employers I have encountered at this in-​n-​out location. He was very nice, respectful, and welcoming.

Perfection each time! I hit the Drive thru while heading home from work. I really like this location combined w/​my burger being made to order & fresh.

California-​based, regional fast food chain restaurant serving burgers, fries, and shakes. They are located in the corner of a large shopping plaza off N Livermore Ave, right off the 580 freeway. I love their cheeseburgers, vanilla/​strawberry shakes, and usually-​friendly service.
Most people already know that In-​N-​Out drive-​thru lines can get long. However, the lines move pretty quickly… except at this location. There were only a handful of cars ahead of me, but it took SO LONG to get our food. This location looks poorly managed — the employees looked disorganized, flustered, and messed up our order.
We’ll probably go back because we love their food… but I’m not looking forward to the wait.

Fastest in n out service I’ve ever experienced. Food came out great. Staff was friendly, and the entire restaurant and bathroom were kept very clean. Lots of people at drive thru and dine in, as any other in n out usually is, but considering the traffic, service was fast.

Still love this place.
Manager always remember how I like my order, and the staff continues to keep the place clean.
My only suggestion is: can you please make your parking lot traffic one way direction? There is just not enough room for two way traffic in the parking lot. The parking lot can be a zoo sometimes with too many cars going different directions and cars backing out of the parking spaces.

I used to love coming here. The food was cheap yet satisfying and the customer service was great. However, something has changed in the past six months or so.
The drive through line is outrageous. The poor staff taking orders and handling the pay window try their hardest to be nice and even entertaining, but when you pull up to the food window nobody so much as looks at you. They are running around like chickens with their heads cut off and don’t speak until your food is finally ready. Couldn’t management hire a few more people so this section isn’t so rushed?
Also, I don’t know if they have changed some of their ingredients lately, but I have gotten sick from this location three times now. The first time I thought it was something else I ate. The second time I got sick I figured it was the milkshake since it has a lot of sugar, so the third time I ordered tea instead. I still got sick and had to miss work the next morning. Seriously, what are you putting in the food now?
I hate to say it, but I will not be going to in-​n-​out anymore, especially not this location. It used to be a nice place to get a cheap burger and fries without sacrificing quality. Now, if you include the money I would have made at my short morning shift had I not needed to call out sick, it costs me $ 45.
Don’t eat here, there are plenty of other cheap burger joints in town that are staffed well and have better quality food.

Burger was great, the fries were a little overcooked. The place was great, the customers are pigs. they toss their trash in the parking lot

Well, we were there at midnight last night. Sadly the fries could break your teeth! Not kidding you? We waited in line for close to 15+ minutes?
Uggg? The hamburger was very good, the gal at the window was very upbeat, but come on night shift, fix the rock fries??? Still like the burgers!

Who doesn’t like this place is silly. Delicious food and the only fries in the world that I love, freshly made yum!

Hey Guys, I love ya but seriously! What is up with the drive-​through? It’s a little disheartening to sit in line for 20 minutes and watch car after car pull to the delivery window and wait at least 1.5 minutes to be handed their order. And then it’s my turn at the window … and I wait 1.5 minutes for my order. I mean ya’ll had 20 minutes to get it together and it’s not like no one hold you people will be showing up today and would probably want hamburgers. I do not understated why the bag is not ready and simply handed over as soon as the car arrives. (Two Minutes x The number of cars in line = a lot a dang minutes for «fast food!» There is room for improvement in the In-​N-​Out machine’s process.
Also, the positioning of your «Thank You» sign leaving the drive-​through is bad as it obstruct the driver’s view of traffic coming from the left when exiting. All it takes is one fender-​bender and what is a nusiance for us will likely become a problem for you. Maybe putting the sigh on the right side of the exit would make a bit more sense.

I’m Californian, so I think I was born with a gene that makes me love In-​N-​Out. So good after a big night out. The fries are to die for. Best fries ever. This location is pretty clean and fast moving too, and the servers are good.

Look, we all know what In n Out’s food is all about, but let’s face it, this franchise hasn’t figured out how to manage high volume of customers efficiently. Livermore is no exception. I appreciate them placing a live order taker at the drive thru, it helps but still, on a fri-​sun night, and some weekday nights, it’s a 10+ minute wait.
For many years I’ve wondered why I can go inside to order my food with no one in line, and watch them serve 8 cars before I get my order.
Come on In n Out, figure it out.

In-​N-​Out Burger. Because they’re delicious, cheap, and Super Duper will definitely be closed by the time I make it back to San Francisco because of all of this fracking traffic.

Not a whole lot to say other than THIS IS A FAST FOOD JOINT, PEOPLE. I couldn’t believe it when I saw an actual food critic reviewing this place like it was a gourmet restaurant, and actually complaining about it because it did not compare to those five-​diamond restaurants he’s used to eating at.
As fast food joints go, this place is tops. No soy-​protein instead of beef, no soy-​bean oil to fry your food in. Just fresh fries and a simple menu. Love it!
By the way, my son has life-​threatening food allergies. This is the ONLY place we let him eat (suck it, Five Guys, with your peanut-​lined restaurant!)
The staff here at the Livermore location is excellent, too.

I forgot to get my change ($ 16) and drove away from the window yesterday.
The awesome In and Out employee RAN OUTSIDE while I had my blinkers on to turn right out of the parking lot to flag me down and give me the money. Very kind and appreciated!!!
Also first time I got a double double protein style and I’m a convert. Didn’t realize you can ask for no additional salt on your burger, will try that next in the interest of health.

Livermore’s In-​N-​Out has improved a lot over the years. When it first opened, I was only meh about it and the veggies were often limp. Now, almost every time I go, the leaves are crisp, the bread is nicely toasted, and the meat is juicy and tender.
I don’t know WHAT happened, but I am loving the transformation, In-​N-​Out!
P. S. Ask for packets of «spread” – it’s the secret sauce they put on the burgers. It tastes AMAZING used on fries instead of ketchup, especially if you sprinkle said fries with a bit of black pepper first.
P. P. S. If you want to be healthy, you can request that your burger be made «protein style.» They nix the bun and wrap your burger in extra lettuce instead. Yay!
