I ordered the faux linen grommet curtains(50″ x 96″) and LOVE them! They actually look like linen and after having them pressed and then trained for 3 days the curtains hang great and look even better! Love them!(Would order more if they every go back on the buy one get one sale)!

The drapes ordered were delivered within days. The quality, the fabric was exactly as pictured and promised. However, the hue of the blue color was off so I had to send them back. Previous reviews had in fact stated that the Robin’s Egg color was not as blue as pictured but I had hastily ordered them for my condo in Florida and was pressed for time. The color is more like a seafoam color. I will order fabric samples before I order my drapes next time. Although the set back, I will order more drapes in the future.

Its January 4th and I’ve called this company 20 times… no answer to any phone number, except for once, when the person hung up the line. They still have their«we’re out for the holiday» voicemail going and I cannot order online either. I get as far as select type of payment and it cancels me out. Is this company going out of business?

I made my order about a week or so ago and I just received it yesterday. The customer service was excellent, the process was quick and easy. Their options is extensive, so I was able to redo my rooms and living with one order. I personally would definitely order through them again if I ever needed any more drapes.

I am a very satisfied customer… somehow my first order didn’t show up… I get packages nearly every day and couldn’t imagine what happened! Customer Service didn’t hesitate to ship out a new package. The drapes are beautiful and will look lovely in my new home. I will definitely be purchasing all my other drapery needs at Half Price Drapes once I measure and know the colors/fabrics I want. I purchased drapes online and upon arrival they looked nothing like what was pictured online. The color was so far off that it’s almost as if they shipped the wrong panels. The panels were stitched together with a plastic thread that resembles fishing line. Not impressed considering what I paid. When I called customer service for an RMA it took me two days to get a human on the line. When I finally got through, the girl was downright nasty. She assured me that she’d send the RMA via email, but it never came through(yes, I checked spam). I called back and spoke with another lady who was much more helpful, but still couldn’t give me a prepaid return label since I had an issue with the color. It cost me a small fortune to ship these back and I was not impressed with the customer service, color or quality of the drapes. I will not be shopping here again. It’s been a week since my return was delivered to their warehouse and I still have not received a refund and no one is answering or returning calls. I’m about ready to take this to the BBB. Very annoyed and displeased with their customer service.

So, I’m a window treatment junkie. I change my living areas seasonally, and with trendy patterns, when I get the chance! That being said, I decided I needed to invest in some solid«classic» patterns to hold me over as my mainstays between my Pinterest frenzies. I wanted a good quality fabric, with enough length to allow me to raise the curtain rod to the ceiling, and flood the floors. My current BB&B drapes weren’t cutting it at 96″. I finally took a chance during the flash sale and ended up leaving with 18×120″ panels. at a STEAL! Stocked up for moms house too! After some lunch and a nap I find HALF are too long and need to be 108″. I race down to the warehouse to find it’s completely picked over. Lucky for me, I encounter the owner and he offers me FREE hemming/cut-down to my custom size! Cherry on top? Free pick up on Tuesday! Happy customer indeed. Five stars for excellent quality, choice, price and excellent customer service. I recommend trying it for yourself!

So far not good. I placed my order 6 weeks ago. I called last week and had to leave a message(never got an actual person) so I simply inquired about the status of my order. I didn’t receive a single response whatsoever so a week later I called back and was once again ditched to someone’s voicemail. This time I expressed my mild irritation at not knowing what was going on. All I got in response was a generic email stating that they were«looking into it». I was charged nearly two months ago. I have no product and have not yet even spoken with an actual person.

my first order they sent wrong drapes, second time I tried to do business with them waited twice for over 1 hour just to get to order, and they still never responded. I tried to order using their online form which won’t work, i tried at least five separate times. How this company does business I’ll never know. Just look at their negative reviews, enough to scare any normal person away. Think it’s time these folks did something else.

I wanted to write this review because I felt it was important considering I was hesitant to order from this company after reading so many bad reviews. I bought the silk dupoini curtains(not sure if I dupoini right), but they are the most gorgeous curtains ever and I bought them online. The curtains are exactly as described and pictured on their website. I was so scared when I placed the order that they wouldn’t be as pictured because of all the people writing so many horrible things. I decided to order anyways because I couldn’t find such curtains anywhere else. I got my order in about 3 days and I didn’t even pay for expedited shipping! So now that I am in love with the curtains I am ordering 5 more panels for my formal dining room and living room because I am absolutely in love with them. They drape so perfectly and beautifully. Thank you so much for such a great product and I can’t wait to order more of your products :)))

Drapes are fine, not outstanding, but fine… however, if you find like I did that they are too long, or too short or you don’t like the color and you want to return, they require that you make a call to them in order to get a return RMA# …now don’t be confused this is not a shipping label, you will pay for your own return shipping and I understand that, but to have to call and get an RMA # is sort of ridiculous… that said I did call… and call and called again and again. No answers. No response to my voicemails. Nada. Clearly I get the feeling this is their way of keeping your money and limiting returns b/c you will keep calling and not being able to reach them and your return window will expire and they will say, we clearly stated our policies on our website… sorry… I am beyond disappointed and have contacted my credit card to file a dispute. I think their business practices are unsavory and in today’s world you have far too many on line choices and you do not need to deal with this type of business. Go elsewhere!!!

What in the world was I thinking by not checking Unilocal before dealing with this company??? I have had the same abysmal experience as the one too many I read. Customer service is polite, but disorganized and slow. When my order arrived the packaging said the correct color and style, but the wrong drape color was inserted into the packaging. When I spoke to a costumer service rep she told me she’d send out the correct panel and a return shipping label. It’s been close to a month and although I’ve already sent back the wrong drape, I have yet to hear any word back about the panel I should have received in the first place. I just called and spoke to another rep who said it’s processing and that the original rep would call me to give me more details. I don’t want details, I want a tracking number. I want it sent already. What’s the hold up. When a company makes a correction to an order it usually ships over night to compensate for the mistake. Not HPD, folks. They are a mess.

I dropped by their showroom today to look at curtains for our bedroom. I’m a nanny and had my three charges with me. I explained the need to be very well behaved before entering the store. The reception area is dirty and not welcoming at all. The receptionist? Just as unwelcoming. We stood there for quite some time waiting to be let into the showroom. The receptionist impatiently said you can go in. To which I replied, no I cannot it is locked. Finally a woman let us in and immediately looked down her nose at all three children. I walked around their showroom which really was not impressive at all. The lady was not helpful even though I was clear what I was looking for. She seemed to be intent that she wasn’t going to help somebody who dared to bring children into her showroom. The kids? They were perfectly behaved and I made sure to say so before we left within earshot of the salesperson. I would never consider spending my money in a place that treats customers so rudely. Judge not my friends, lest ye be judged — lol! I see lots of people have had trouble with your customer service.

3 separate orders were placed. The prices and quality are OK and they have a HUGE selection, but their customer service and order accuracy are beyond horrible. The the first order was places and other than the immediate confirmation email, we heard nothing for 6 weeks. Actually we forgot we had even ordered anything. When we called we were told that the order was approved and ready to ship, but nobody was sure why it hadn’t. No offer to upgrade shipping or any other compensation was offered. It finally arrived about a week later. BUT… One of the sets of panels was the wrong size. So I called for a replacement set. About 2 weeks later the replacement shows up, but there is only one panel in the package. There should be two. Someone at their warehouse removed one for some unknown reason. Call AGAIN, get another replacement AGAIN and finally, almost 3 months later, we have what was originally ordered. The second order went as smooth as could be expected The third order was for 6 relativity expensive drapes. At least 4 of them had brown spots(kinda looked like soy sauce) on them. That was the last straw. If there is ANYWHERE else to get what you are looking for, go there first!

I agree with the reviewers who found their HPD shopping experience a tad better than miserable. It appears as if they’ve never learned the meaning of c-u-s-t-o-m-e-r service. Each time I’ve called and the one time I placed an order, I was treated with caustic ambivalence. The product is «good» but HPD’s upcharge is tremendous. What’s worse is that their«warehouse» is in Asia hence the«plus» however many dollars with each order. I’ve read HPD’s responses to certain reviews and absolutely no reputable business owner, especially in this down economy, would reply to their customers in the manner in which HPD replied to their reviewers. That, in and of itself, is disgraceful. HPD need to step into the present and realize they no longer have a corner on the market nor are their prices reflective of the times. There is nothing half priced about HPD.
