I live a couple of blocks away from this place, so I decided to give it a try. I went to watch the baseball playoffs and have a few beers. The Bartender was fine, the drinks were average. The worst part about this experience was two older gentleman talking loudly about their high school football days–«I would of gone pro if it wasn’t for my shoulder!». Not an exact quote but it was probably said at some point. They both got so drunk that it eventually sounded like two men just making incoherent noises with their mouths. I feel like one star is harsh, but two is generous. I would be pretty sad if I somehow ended up back here.

The Philly cheese steak sandwich was good, the burger was just ok, the wings were great. Wish the waitress would make eye contact with me even once the entire time I was there, it’s a pet peeve of mine.

I heard the owner Bob call his former server a whore. I felt bad for her and went outside to console her and man I couldn’t believe the crap him and Ashley do to the staff. Most of it sounds illegal. They threatened to charge staff for accepting counterfit bills. They charge servers and bartenders for customer mistakes in drinks and food(ILLEGAL!!!). If a guest is unhappy with their meal the staff is hounded about it. It’s not the first time I’ve heard of this. I know of a server/bartender there that recently had her(and yes her as they don’t hire males in front?) last paycheck had a stop payment on it. They recycle napkins, wrapped straws as well. I’m not a germaphobe but that is gross. At this point I want to let you know that yes, I worked there. The staff were very nice people, but living in fear of how drunk and belligerent Bob was going to be that day. It is the first review I have ever felt to write. I’m not a vindictive person but being there was gross. Not changing trash can liners in bathrooms? Nasty. Having to tell your guests that they are wrong and must not have read the menu? Not cool. Being verbally abusive to the staff? Unacceptable! I am a very nice person and wish the best of most people but this Bob guy is mean and a drunk. And not a nice drunk at that. Take your business elsewhere people. The prices are steep for what you get.

Would be a fun place to eat and watch the game … but the service is lacking We had to seat ourselves(no waitress to be found), sat for awhile w/out menues… had to grab someone to ask for them… then they just didn’t come back to check on us. Honestly if it weren’t for the Bronco game playing we would have left and just gone home. I do not recommend this establishment … unless you are willing to help your self and you can basically do that in the comfort of your own home.

My issue with this place is the lack of consistency. Some days you go in, and your food is decent, and your service is decent. Other times you go in, the food is terrible, and the service is lacking. In fact, one time I went in, and the waitress was incredibly rude to us. I would definitely not recommend, as it’s definitely hit or miss.

There have been a lot of bars come and go at this location. Service is always the issue(although it is hard to see from the road). I really like this place and I keep going in hopes that this time it is successful. Last night was the 3rd time I have gone in and can barely get any service… while sitting at the bar! It took over 10 minutes for them to finally see me(I would actually raise my hand at times) so that I could get a beer. I asked for a menu and after another 10 minutes, I finally gave up. Went to another bar so that I could get some service and get fed. It was not that busy, there were actually 4 or 5 empty seats at the bar.

We just needed a quick bite to eat and refreshments. We were seated quickly and our beer was good. The food however was terrible and took longer than grilled chicken should. Ordered the chicken tenders(grilled) and chicken skewers. Both were rubbery and over cooked, we couldn’t finish them. Ended up going across the street to subway.

Do Not Waste your time at this place!!! After 2 football games 5 of our families decided to try this place out. Big Mistake! It was Sunday night and the place was dead. It took over an hour for our food to come and and one family never got their food at all. The waitress kept telling us that we caught them on a shift change and she was very sorry! It wasn’t like we ordered anything difficult it was pub food!!! One of the dishes ordered was coconut shrimp and the outside was burnt but the shrimp was still raw!!! As we were leaving there was a poor kid who proceeded to vomit on the floor at the table next to us!!! To sum it all up this was the WORST dining experience of my life!!! The service was slow, food was awful, and I just hope no one in our party gets food poisoning tonight!!!

There were eight of us who went here for a late lunch, around 2p. There was one other table and a couple of people at the bar. It wasn’t busy at all. The waitress greeted us by saying«Great, its just me today.» when we told her we needed a table for eight. The food took an hour and a half. While we were waiting and waiting, patiently, mind you, the waitress would say something to two people at the bar and then they would all look over at us. We sort of felt like we had ruined her day. The food finally came. The people in our party who had burgers said they were fine. The chicken strips my daughter had were okay. The fish tacos were extremely fishy smelling and tasting. We won’t be back.

Decent food — have had the burgers a few times and they are consistently good. Great place for a drink — friendly servers. Love that this is in walking distance, so we come here often for a few beers after a long week.

went here recently and was pretty good. They have IPA on tap which isn’t common and prices were great. Menu isn’t typical, has variety. Staff was awesome! will definitely come back.

Not impressed. Warehouse set up in a strip mall. We had a couple of apps that were obviously not that impressive as I can’t remember what they were. The couple next to us left without finishing their soups and apps. Beer selection is all domestic with no micro brews. Staff just did not seem to be that into it. decent location that could have a good following, but something is missing from this place.

Went to the Prairie Dog Pub tonight for a few drafts and couldn’t have been more disappointed. First, there is never anyone there after 9:00p.m. and tonight was no different. I don’t see this place being in business for much longer. As every bar I’ve seen come and go at this location. What was exceptionally bad was our server! She couldn’t have acted any less interested in serving us our drinks. What she was interested in was spending all of her time flirting with the karaōke d.j. As we have tried to give this place a try, this will probably end our attempts. I do not recommend this place!

A local neighborhood vibe, darker and casual. Food is great, beer selection is less than ordinary… no good microbrews :(. Staff is fun and attentive. If they added draft microbrews they would have a major hit. Right now it’s just a good place… and that is a place I would return to. :)

Our friends who live in the neighborhood wanted to eat here before a red rocks concert and it was full of flies and the food was not good. Good service though and good beer. The fried portabella mushrooms had no flavor and my steak kabob was not good. I didnt even try the green beans they were canned with bacon and looked awful. The mushroom risotto was disgusting. The salad was ok but today i am sick from god knows what been to the bathroom 5 timea starting in the middle of the night.

I went to Prairie Dog Pub and Grill just before a concert at Red Rocks. My overall experience was very good. The quality of the food and the experience and attention of the wait staff was perfect. I don’t have a single complaint. The place just recently opened so it looks like they are off to a great start and their menu seems to have a lot of choices. I had a chicken sandwich(can’t remember the name). It was very good and the portions certainly were enough. I will definitely be visiting again to try more items on the menu.
