Sim’s has the best bbq in Little Rock! And their sides rock too. I always get the ribs and the meat is ‘fall off the bone’ tender. The sauce is sweet and tangy. The greens and cornbread remind me of my great grandmother’s. I love this place!

Oh My Goodness. This was my 2nd trip to LR and I thought I ate good the first time. NO way. I was down south over the labor day weekend and I started to crave. bar b que. When we arrived it was a plain bar b que resteraunt but the smell was just awsome. I had the bar b que chicken dinner with potatoe salad and greens and corn bread. The meat was flavorful and danggitt. thats my grandmas bar b que sauce. It bought a tear to my eye since she has passed on and I enjoyed my lunch in the rain with good memories.

I am coming back when I return to Arkansas! :) Ooh!!! * For $ 8 you can get a meal with two sides. * They had this strawberry soda with so much ice it was like a slushie! :) * They took credit & debit cards which is always good for a traveler. * Open until 10PM on Saturdays & until 9PM on week nights

We used to feel so lucky when we’d get the chance to eat from Sims as as kids in east LR. I don’t even like white or soggy bread but I «sop» it with my chopped pork sammies. MMMMM-MMMMM!

Sims is the nastiest BBQ i’ve ever eaten. I hate to waste any food but I threw that mess in the trash after two bites, because they refused to refund me. The sauce was watery & tasted like vinegar water NOTSAUCE. I tried on more than one occassion to ingest that mess with no luck.

Sim’s is elbow licking good! Holy Cow, Hog, and Chicken! This place is a shrine to all that is perfect about southern, hole in the wall BBQ joints. The vinegar based sauce is delicious, perfect blend with the smokey flavor. It is a little on the rough side of town, but anyone who knows good cooking, knows Sim’s. There was a small second(downtown) location for a while, but we couldn’t find it on a recent trip up to Little Rock. I hope it’s because we couldn’t remember the street, not because it’s gone.

Best BBQ in the World. Seriously. Sim’s is a tiny spot in a rough part of Little Rock. It’s been in business over 50 years. Get the pork rib plate with Beans and Cole Slaw. Plus a beer will set you back about $ 10. The sauce is one-of-a-kind. Not to be missed… not only for the food, but for the experience.
