Got the breakfast sandwich, it was pretty good. Coffee was good. Service good. Prices weren’t too bad, but a little high I thought for just breakfast. I’d go back again if in the area.

First the pecan pancakes were great, bacon also. Service staff were nice also. The rest was OK husband had combo omlette but really didn’t have very much taste. Everything was greasy not sure i would go back

My first time there, one of us got the poached egg… Which was just a hard boiled egg… The food was bland. So if you like bland food then this is the place for you. I didn’t get to try the pancakes but they did look amazing, I did try the peppered corn bacon and it was really good.

This is my favorite place for an occasional breakfast. By that I am saying their country breakfast is great, fried eggs, fried ham, fried red skin potatoes, biscuits and gravy, but not an every day meal There is a limited menu, but what they do, they do well. If you order pancakes you will get ones that are the size of your plate. Breakfasts are better than the lunches.

Had a nice young lady Marcella as our server. If you like breakfast food then you will LOVE this place. Blueberry pancakes!

A classic, simple, down-home breakfast. You want pancakes? Man do they ever have pancakes! Eggs? Hash browns? Biscuits and Gravy? Cheese Grits? This is your spot :) However — be aware this is a fantastic spot for Breakfast, not so much for Brunch. The options are very good, but they keep it simple, and there are no mimosa or bloody mary options on that menu. The interior looks like it’s straight out of the logging era, all old bare-wood paneling and a decorative fireplace. It’s small, loud if it’s crowded, and if they get crazy in the kitchen(which is in the same big room) the air can get a little thick. They also have a nice little covered back patio for extra seating, although sadly, it’s only open during certain seasons. All in all though, an amazing spot for an exceptional basic breakfast. I tried the pecan pancakes(HUGE), the hash browns(home fries really, but well spiced, tender, and crispy on the outside), an omelette, the cheese grits, and some of the gravy(shaved a year off my life, but worth the trade!) Service was excellent, the food was very, very good, they offer two kinds of grape juice(Mmmm, Muscadine!) and the coffee flowed thick and fast. Bonus points for things like Hazelnut creamer, I don’t usually use creamer, but throw a little hazelnut in there and I just can’t say no. Definitely lives up to the hype!

On the whole, I think this is a pretty average restaurant hidden beneath a whole bunch of hype. While the service always appears to be pretty good, the food is average, at best. Today, I had the Country Breakfast, which came with fatty bacon, fair biscuit and gravy, and dry eggs. I had to dip my eggs in the aforementioned gravy to make them edible. I thoroughly believe this place used to be better but has gone on the decline. At least the customer service continues to be pretty decent.

I think 3 stars is a very fair rating for Ozark Country Restaurant. They make above average food– it’s not bad, but the issue is the pricing is way too expensive for the quality and atmosphere provided. You think it’s a country diner and expect to pay $ 6 – 9 per person, but you realize quickly that if you get two coffees and two entrees(along with perhaps a side) that you’re going to be forking over $ 35 for two at breakfast. I can get way better quality at Ashley’s downtown in a great environment too. So, if you stick to maybe the stack of three pancakes and a coffee, you’ll escape for under $ 10– but anything else and you’re paying way too much for what you get. But, ultimately the service is friendly, you feel cozy, and the food is pretty good. Just be prepared for high prices relative to the food quality and ambience.

This place has gone down down down. Very Dirty. Food was so greasy we couldn’t even finish it. Pancakes had black crap from the grill all over them. And over $ 20 for breakfast. Not sure if the owners are the same from a few years ago but they are either different or don’t go there anymore. Don’t waste you hard earned money unless you enjoy eating in filth.

Did not meet expectations. They served me instant oatmeal, the toast had no butter in it, and the bacon was very thin. Not what I would agree is a «country» breakfast.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Please do not be swayed by positive reviews. Still cannot figure out why/how Arkansans rate services as 4 – 5 stars here. Unbearably hot inside restaurant: staff and customers sweating — which made for an uncomfortable eating environment. Absolutely no effort to prepare/present a meal — only slopped onto a plate, burnt and/or grease-soaked food, and ridiculously overpriced, not only for quality, but also for quantity. $ 10 for three sunny-side eggs, 2 scrawny strips of bacon, and 2 burnt sausage patties. To be fair, we have just returned to AR after living in CO where the food is amazing. However, even simple food(eggs and bacon) can be prepared and presented well. This place isn’t even trying.

Kind of rustic but the food was great! I had the amazing pecan pancakes and my brother enjoyed his country breakfast, especially the peppered bacon

Diner vibe, mostly older folks and working class Joes. With that said no Bloody Marys. Pretty good breakfast and brunch, hearty food. If you’re thinking Waffle House, skip and come here. After reading a foodie review I’m reminded that if you’re younger than 40 you do get starred at/treated like you’re a hipster from another planet.

Finding a big black long hair and my hashbrowns is not the way to start your day. The owner did take a few dollars off of my bill but still the food wasn’t worth what I paid for it. The eggs and bacon and hash browns seem like they were all cooked on the same grill because they had no different taste except texture.

It’s quality food on the menu in all my visits. Weather permitting, get a table on the porch. The only downsides would be the overall size of the restaurant as it can get very busy, and the restrooms could use work.

Portions were generous and everything tasted generally good. I thought coffee was a bit pricy. It’d be a good place to introduce someone from overseas to southern breakfast, but it’s definitely not something I’d eat every morning unless my goal is to get a heart attack.

Touted as the best breakfast in LR. I realize«best’ is subjective, but in my opinion it was pretty good. I enjoyed Laughing Moon Café’s(now defunct) breakfast better. Nonetheless, the omelet was tasty, albeit slightly overcooked. Not sure what kind of cheese they used, but I had a hard time getting it off my teeth. :) The red potatoes were fresh cut(obviously not frozen). The coffee was pretty good. Didn’t eat the biscuit or the gravy but they looked like they would have been good. My server(a male) was pleasant and personable.
