Great food it’s like eating granny cooking back home. I ordered Oxtails meat falling off the bone and they gave u a great portion of it the blackeyed peas were on fire I would and will go back to eat again. Customer service was wonderful I was in and out and they don’t stay open long so if you got the flavor for granny cooking stop you will enjoy I promise

So my buddy Greg told me about this place. He warned me of what it may look on the outside but assured me that the homecooked meal I was about to experience would be well worth it. I have been in the mood for porkchops… and when Greg told me David’s family kitchen had «the» best fried porkchops, I have set out to conqure. Yes, the porkchops were flavorful. Not fried as crisp as I would have liked but nonetheless, tasty. The other sides need improvement. Very bland cornbread, white beans and green beans. The food is cooked then placed in a oven until u order. The staff, bless there hearts, are as friendly as can be but the décor is in immediate need of an upgrade. By looking at the place I would not even stop by if a friend hadnt told me about it. I cant recommend this place as it falls way below my standards but I do wish them well.

Not only is the food great, but the staff here are wonderful too. They have been so friendly to me on so many occasions. I would eat breakfast here every dang day if I didn’t live in Chicago. Heck, I wish they would open a satellite location in Chi.

By far the best home cookin’ in Little Rock. Specials change daily. I’ve had the fried chicken and it was perfection.
I’ve also had the chicken and dressing and I have to admit that it was much better than what I’ve ever had cooked at home.
