Never had the hubcap burger but Cothams has the best fried okra I’ve ever eaten! Not sure what makes it special but you must try it. Good comfort food. With its proximity to the Capitol, it’s a politician’s mecca. My supervisor ate here when George W was in town years ago. Service is good — never had a bad experience

You MUST try this place! I heard about it from a friend at work. We finally decided to go for a group outing! That was a GREAT decision! The cheeseburger was delish! The catfish was the best Ive had here in Little Rock! Everything was seasoned to perfection and cooked how I like it. Excellent Service! Great Food! Will be going back soon!

The service here is awesome! The burger and fries are alright. I was disappointed that they only have grilled cheese sandwiches on the kids menu. I ordered the fried pickles on my latest visit and they were way too salty!

Hands down must try! All the food is fresh! It’s been five years sense I’ve eaten here and I can believe I didn’t try harder to stop in for the food! Great service! Great food! What more can you ask of a restaurant, if you’re in town and want something fresh to eat, this is it!

Never again! When I legitimately complained about the subpar food the manager who also claimed to be the owner snapped at me and just had an overall rancid attitude. To add insult to injury she shorted me $ 5 when she gave me back change! This place is a no-go forever!

Nope, no way, never again. That had to be the smallest«hubcap» burger I have ever seen. The meat had a strange texture to it, and was very bland. Highly disappointed

A good burger and good onion rings, but definitely not the best I ever ate(neither one). Friendly staff and good service. Definitely worth a try, but Doe’s has a better burger!!!

Got to travel to Scott if you want the true Cotham’s experience, but a quick stop for lunch is more than satisfactory. The hubcab here is amazing, though i do give a slight edge to origional cothams over in the city.

I really like Cotham’s. Despite the limited lunch hours, my boyfriend and I pop in once every couple of months, usually on Fried Chicken Thursday, when you can get really good fried chicken(a breast and a leg) and macaroni and cheese(which you can’t get during the rest of the week… it’s a special). On my last visit, a Friday, I decided to try the catfish, as I’d really been craving it and Cotham’s does anything fried right. To my very pleasant surprise, I am confident in stating that Cotham’s has some of the best catfish in Little Rock. The filets were huge, crispy and flavorful. It was also actually CATFISH, which many restaurants don’t honor – they serve some kind of fish, call it catfish and charge catfish prices. Not Cotham’s. Served with french fries, hush puppies and corn fritters, I couldn’t finish everything but I definitely tried. Their sweet tea is really good. Not too sweet, but just sweet enough. I have never had anything but really great service here. The staff doesn’t seem to have much turnover and they seem to care a lot about whether you’re being taken care of. This is a «go-to» lunch spot in my book.

This place is just ‘eh’ in my book. Only open for lunch apparently so, it’s PACKED when you get there. So, expect a wait. There were 6 of us in our party, all Army guys so, we arent exactly tiny guys, and they sat us at a table meant for 4, but put a chair at each end. It was really cramped. The waitress messed up a few of our orders, even though we all ordered hubcaps just with different sides/toppings. I got the hubcap with fried pickles($ 3 extra) and they were the worst fried pickles I’ve ever had. They were so salty that I couldnt eat more than 5 chips. Disgusting. I told the waitress, who asked how everything was, that they were so salty that they were inedible. She apologized slightly… and that was it. Didn’t offer fries, or a new batch, or to take them off the check. Other than that, the staff was very friendly, our waitress included. As stated before, the burger is a big burger. Buts that’s about it. Just big. There are much better places to eat in Little Rock that I wont be coming back, unless its to bring someone else to get a hubcap for the novelty of it. Other than that, its nothing to write home about.

FIrst off, this place has limited hours. I can’t count how many times I’ve craved a hubcap burger and went home with an empty stomach because this place is closed after 2pm! The staff are courteous and have never messed up and order the 10+ times I”ve been there. The prices are cheap and the food is delicous! It isn’t ever too packed and doesn’t take but about 7 minutes to get your order out or less. Always has parking spots avaiable, great location and clean! The hubcap burger is simply a bigger burger, it’s not going to be the size of an actuall hubcap lol. It’s fresh beef, hand made patty with american cheese. You can determine the size of the burger by adding more than one patty, and let me remind you that each patty is close to a pound! I’ve managed to eat all my fries, drink my drink dry & devoured a 2 patty hubcap monster! I recommend to atleast try this place out, if it’s the weekend dont even bother, it will be closed. But there is another Cothams, its the original Cothams in the country out towards England.

I have never been to the«original» Cothams but that does not bother me. For a good diner meal served quick this is a great place to visit. The chicken and dumplings are not available every day but when they are order them! The catfish is good too. They have the knack for good sides too, green beans and mashed potatoes I really like. The corn fritters come with the catfish and they are really a nice change of pace. My favorite addition to any meal is the cornbread, much better than the roll! You can get a burger anywhere, good diner fare you can’t. 4 people for lunch is going to set you back about $ 45 with tip.

This is a burger I would crave — a destination burger. It’s the burger I aspire to be able to make at home. It’s just good beef, salt, pepper — perfection. And the fries? They don’t even need ketchup.

Now Cotham’s makes a mean burger. Greasy, melty chese, fresh toppings. Trade the fries for onion rings or fried green ‘maters. Tips: –Only open for lunch. –CROWDED during lunch. Good to call in an order for take out or wait for a table. –It’s pronounced Cot-hams, not with the«th» sound. Locals will look at you funny. –I recently saw that the«hubcap» at the original in Scott was featured on either Food Network or the Travel channel as the 2nd best burger in the NATION! I was in TX when I saw that on TV& it kind of made my day :-)

I feel that the real draw to this place is the ambience. I didn’t feel brave/hungry enough to try the hubcap, but the regular sized cheeseburger I received was pretty delicious. It’s just a standard burger. The daily special contained like 18 different items and sounded delicious. Good sweet tea. Points just for being a local, funky establishment in Little Rock.

Too much hype over the Hubcap Burger. Average burger that’s wider than average. I wasn’t impressed. I did like the political memorabilia that covered the walls.
