This place used to be great, or so I thought. Having come back to the state after being gone for over decade I have to say this place is up and down. I would have given it a 4 before tonight but my service was about as bad as it gets. First, you never, never delay the food for the kids. If my food is ready, don’t bring it out yet. A young child who is bored is not good for anyone. I can’t eat with a 5 year old next to me. But it was ok, you brought his food about 10 minutes later. Oh his side of chips? Nope, not there. Instead you had a side of fries on his plate that was for someone else at our table. So now he has to take his burger off and put it on a tiny plate, with no side of chips, and give the big plate with all the fries to someone else at our table. Second, some orders had a considerably larger amount of fries than others. Like twice as many. Which wasn’t too big of a deal because the fries are really greasy and not that exciting. The burgers are fine, not great and not terrible. Oh, a burger with«everything» was served with nothing but cheese. After the patron inquired about it missing a few things the server responded along the lines of «yeah, it’s all coming soon, on the side» while everyone else’s burgers had everything already loaded on their burgers. It was a huge mess and the server seemed as if she couldn’t have cared any less about us. Not even an oops, just apathy. Shame on you for some of the worst service I’ve ever received.

When I lived in LR, I ate here at least once a week. Of course great burgers, hand cut fries. Nachos, club sandwich, chili, and great service. Love the patio when it’s warmer– cold beer, friends, & a neighborhood bar. Ahhhh… life was good.

Hamburgers, chicken fingers, and cheese dip make quite the potent American combination. And Buffalo Grill knows its stuff. Finding a group that’s just in the mood for a cheese dip and hamburger lunch may not be an every weekend/lunchtime occurrence, but when it is, this is the place to go.

As my friends made the treacherous trek from their prospective homes after a light dusting of snow in central Arkansas, I waited patiently at my table clothed in red and white gingham, sipping my Pinot Grigio. I feel the warm air from the vent behind me hitting the back of my head. I pause to think about how blessed I am to have the friends I do and to be able to share a «little rock tradition» with them. Our waitress is sweet with a hint of «matter of fact». It’s refreshing. I order a large cheese dip(of course I do, this is the cheese dip capitol of the WORLD!). The cheese dip here is amazing and life changing. Literally. My friends arrive, we wave, exchange hugs and pleasantries. After a brief exchange of conversation, it is revealed that two of the buds have never eaten at Buffalo Grill. What!!! This is not possible! It is now my goal to make this place the best place ever for them! They are, after all, moving to Germany in April. I tell them that the burgers are the best in the state, and I insisted that they partake in the cheese dip that was gingerly placed in front of us. David takes a nibble of the cheese dip and seems impressed. WIN! Conversation is appreciated and drinks are enjoyed. Orders are placed. 2 cheeseburgers, a quesadilla, a club sandwich and BLT are requested. YES! A good sampling of the menu. Food arrives promptly and prepared beautifully. I offer a sliver of my cheeseburger to Team Bulldog. The wife refuses, the husband accepts(after being forced). He seems to appreciate what the meat has to offer. I take my first bite. It’s flavorful and well balanced. As always. I always find joy in the cheese burgers from here. A wonderful, heaven sent combination of ground beef, spices, and melted cheese. Made just to each order. The fries(dipped in ranch) are also a delicacy that can’t be match anywhere else. All in all, an experience at Buffalo Grill is one that can’t be topped. Homemade burgers, fresh cut fries, and house ranch help make it so special. Everyone in my dining party seemed pleased with the food and overall experience. «Extraordinary!» they all exclaimed in joy as we all slipped in to our own food comas. Excellent burgers! I had a cheese burger(came with tomato, mustard, and onion) and added guacamole and bacon. The apparently have started serving onion rigs as a substitute for fries which were very satisfying too. One of the people I was with tried the veggie nachos which left something to be desired. We sat inside, but I am sure the outside would be great on cool evenings. Service was nothing special, but no real complaints. I’ll be back when I want another great burger.

The place was not what we thought it would be. With that name we thought there would be buffalo burger or chicken wings but it was just your regular American restaurant. We started off with chips and salsa and it was basically store bought chips with mediocre salsa. My husband had the hamburger steak plate and the burger was tasteless. There was more onions than the burger. He had baked potato for side and it was cold. I had guacamole salad with add-on grilled chicken. There was only 3 strips of chicken for extra charge. With that said, the service was good. The server was very attentive and brought us extra chips when we had leftover salsa to bring home. She also gave us takeout cups for our drinks(coke and water). However, we’ll never come back again because the food gave us bad heart burn.

This place is really about a 2.5. We tried the hamburger because that’s a good indicator. Honestly, it’s not as good as what I prepare at home. The meat was bland and flavorless and just wasn’t that great. We did order onion rings and they were very good. The service was prompt and courteous. My gut instinct is they are known for hamburgers, but now it’s just routine and they put no special effort into it. If you’re in the area and need a quick bite this place will work otherwise give it a pass.

The cheese dip here is excellent. I thought the Mahi Mahi was well seasoned and the prices are reasonable.

Went here for the first time last weekend. Being our first time there, my husband and I both tried the burgers. They were delicious! A friend that was with us had the Chicken Nachos. I had to try one and they were great as well! The atmosphere there is nice and the staff was very friendly. You have the option of sitting inside or outside to enjoy the weather. Definitely will be making a repeat visit!

Really a 2.5. I wondered why in almost 17 years of traveling to LR and now living here for 6ish months I had never been to Buffalo Grill. Now I know. Mediocrity at its finest. Flavorless burger with so much mustard on it you could taste nothing else. Meh fries. Uninspired menu that just turns and burns a lunch time crowd. In hindsight I should of ordered a nacho dish, virtually every other table did.

Wonderful cheese burger. Service is friendly and there is a full bar. Good food-not exactly diet friendly if you are counting calories-they do have some salads but I have never tried them.

Love this place service and food is great. I like chopped steak, burgers, and the club sandwich. Wished the west little rock location was still open.

I have always had good burgers there. Not this time. First of all the cheese dip went from semi– sold to firm to chip breaking. Speaking of the chips I saw the same chips at Sam’s in bulk. The burger had no flavor was dry the only flavor it had was from the onion and it was overpowering. I was a big fan not so much now. Then came the bill. Not worth the money. Not sure I’ll get hamburger again.

Perfect burger, cold beer, great fries, and perfect weather on the patio. I’ve only been in town a day and a half and found this place on Unilocal.I’m here for two weeks so ill be back.

Our service was outstanding. The food was fresh and presented like picture on a plate. I had the guacamole salad, which was turned out to be like a giant guacamole appetizer. Not sure why, but it was not what I was expecting. It was as described on the menu, so I can’t complain about that. The only reason for deducting one star is that the chips served with the chips and salsa and with the guacamole salad are the regular Tostitos type chips that are too commercial and over salted. Perhaps the«restaurant style» chips would be a better alternative. Just my opinion. Overall, good food, good prices, great service.

Poor food, average service, and nothing to make up for it. We waited 10 minutes on the patio before being served, despite telling the host we were there. The food was lackluster. My club sandwich was served on dry wheat toast, with iceberg lettuce, bacon, and processed deli meats and cheese. It might as well have been subway, except subway tastes better and is fresher. I had a side of onion rings that were average, but definitely frozen and then deep fried. The rest of my party had a tuna sandwich, and a ham and cheese melt. The tuna was reported as dry, but ok. I tried the melt, and it was similarly disappointing. The cheese had obviously been individually wrapped, and the sandwich itself lacked flavor. All in all, the whole experience was disappointing. The menu was woefully shallow, the drink list tepid, and the service nothing special, but not bad. There are better places to eat around. In fairness, I have not tried the burger, which is award winning. But unless it’s the best burger ever, I’d skip this joint.

This is a hard place to review because it is basically two restaurants and really deserves a 3.5, but the service won the 4 instead of 3. The indoor restaurant is a dive, the mild smell of urine permeates the place like there is bad plumbing. We walked in, and looked around for a couple minutes looking for a server, bartender, anyone besides the old man eating alone at a table. But finally asked him how we get outside to the patio where we saw people. He didn’t know. We eventually figured out how to get there(it was from outside, duh) and were greeted by a great, very helpful server. Which commenced the restaurant 2 experience. We both got burgers that were good and came with a huge side of chips. They were a little on the well done side, but I wasn’t asked temp and didn’t offer one up so my bad. We also asked about the Arkansas obsession with cheese dip that I have now seen on everyone’s menu from la ti dah to total dive. The server confirmed it is an AR thing, but we went with the onion rings after seeing the massive bowl delivered to the table next door. He was very sweet and brought us a small cup full and chips to try on the house. They should serve this mini portion, it was more than enough. Maybe make it a salsa, cheese, guac sampler. Anyway, the patio was great, even in the cold, and the server was friendly and continuously filling our huge jugs of soda. I’ll go back again if I’m in the area, but will definitely choose the porch restaurant.

Solid Casual Spot to Eat. This spot is pretty good. The menu is simple, but they do very well. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is fun. The meat and fries are both really excellent.
