Great restaurant. Very spacious, colorful, with friendly people behind the counter. I got the Chicken Fried Steak with Mashed potatoes, fried okra with cream gravy. Awesome country cooking meal. The cream gravy is perfection. But what really caught my eye was their fried chicken. It looked amazing and I can’t wait to try it. This is a great casual restaurant where you can relax and enjoy a wonderful meal. As I look around there are lots of content people eating their lunches.

Best home cookin in little rock! The food is always fabulous! Served meat and side style. The lasagna and fried chicken are the two best entrees! Entrees and sides vary each day but you always have your choice of roll or cornbread! Service is always kind and fast!

Bobby’s is a gredat place to go for some home cooking. Their fried chicken and pork chop are out of sight. I am disappointed that they use preformed, frozen chicken fried steaks and instant mashed potoatoes. Other than that, this place is great when you need that country stylre home cooking fix. The staff is great and I am always glad I stood in line for a few minutes.

Go with the fried chicken and get dark meat (leg and a thigh) even if you usually prefer white meat (as I do). There is a wide variety of homestyle vegetables but without the overloading of butter and salt that most restaurants have gone to. Cafeteria style line starts to fill up within 20 minutes of opening, so I recommend an early lunch during the week. They are closed on the weekends and I believe only serve lunch. Run by a very nice couple.
