I went to ARC today because I am between jobs and my insurance at the new job doesn’t start for two months. I had an excellent experience. I was treated with respect and kindness and got immediate care. There was no wait, and everyone was attentive and helpful. They were able to diagnose my condition quite quickly and made suggestions of what I could do until my insurance kicked in and what to do if certain symptoms appear. They even offered to help me find a surgeon should I need one before my insurance starts. Overall, a good experience and pretty good rate of $ 80. Although the nurse practitioner that saw me was spot on, I would prefer to see a doctor for such a condition, but this worked out well for me.

I’ve been here twice for minor problems. Both times were a good experience and I was seen quickly. This was especially appreciated because one of those times I only had a small window of time to get in and out before I had to return to work. The staff did everything they could to make sure I could get treated promptly and get back on my way. The clinic doesn’t have the equipment or facilities to treat more serious injuries but for your run-of-the-mill problems like minor infections, illnesses, or sprains this clinic would be my first choice any day because I can get in and out so much faster than I ever could at, say, the family medicine clinic at the nearby medical university. The only turn-off for me with this clinic is there is a lot of Christian or Bible-themed plaques and sayings posted around the clinic. I believe in treating the ‘whole person’ and in the valuable role one’s spirituality(if applicable) can play in healing. However, when only one faith or religion is represented it implies that in the eyes of the staff there is the only ‘right’ belief system, and that does not feel welcoming to patients who do not share those beliefs. If a clinic is going to post such things on its walls, I believe it is more appropriate to post inspirational quotes from a –diverse– array of faiths or spiritual leaders so as to communicate respect for the diverse array of clients that walk through your doors.

Tiny little waiting room. I went with a friend this morning to get a hand x-ray. The receptionist informed us right away that they had no x-ray capabilities and would have to send us to another facility for an x-ray. We were not very impressed. We found a bigger, more modern and accommodating walk-in clinic(Velocity) a short drive away.

Place is clean. Got called back immediately. Everyone there is super friendly and nice. I’m from out of state so I was worried and I didn’t have my insurance card but they let me email them a picture. Very accommodating. Offered me Advil and tylonal too. Glad I came here

We are visiting Little Rock and one of us became ill. We found this clinic, as it was near where we are staying. When we walked in today, we were told that the doctor wouldn’t be back for about 2 hours. We asked where we should go, and received a very uncaring response from the woman at the desk. I have never encountered such an uncaring person in a doctor’s office. Another woman came out and told us the name of another place, but she didn’t give us an address. We tried to follow her directions, but we were lost. We finally found another urgent care clinic and my friend is receiving excellent care there. I would not go back to the ARC Express Walk-in Clinic.
