If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst experience. Waitress is slow, didn’t ask my boyfriend if he wanted a refill, she didn’t bring us napkins until we were done eating. Everyone is just standing around and I watched one of the waiters play with his face in the mirror in the dining room. This place is gross. I will never ever return here ever again.

Great prices, but the quality went down. I went to this Dinner since I was a child. I enjoy the staff but sometimes here an there the new staff is no good. Feel they changed the chef an when changing a chef you should change the menu options, this did not happen. I am a vegan now an would like to see some vegan/vegetarian menu items instead of just salads. They have indulgent Items, healthy items, they BAKEINHOUSE too(breads, cakes-cookies)! I HIGHLYRECOMMENDGOINGTHEREFORTHEIRHOMEMADEDESSERTS! I ordered a half sheet carrot cake for my congratulations party an I RECOMMENDORDERING A CAKEFOR A CELEBRATION! WORTHTHEPRICE! ITWASMOIST, THEPIPINGSKILLSWHERETHERE, THEBALANCEOFALLTHECARROTCAKEINGREDIENTSWHERETHERE! Tho a full sheet cake order is NOT on the menu ask the owner an they will make it! Give them atleast a weeks notice tho as they do have a baker he only bakes an leaves when he is finished baking for the day. I enjoy this dinner. Go try it, you will have a great experiance. Ask for more food(complimentary foods) an usually they will give it to you no questions asked! Eat in or pick up. Paking is simple: either park in the dinners parking lot or park in the plaza below an walk up the parking lots connecting staircase. Whatever you choose it is worth the price. I recommend this dinner for you to try. Namaste.

This place great ! Fast service and nice staff! The breakfast is very good. I have not tried the dinner entrees but I’m sure based on breakfast itself that you have nothing to worry about!

An occasional customer to this diner I have always thought their service and food was good. However, during my most recent visit, we had good service but the food was horrible. Our omelettes were runny and not fully cooked. The breakfast potatoes were awful with no particular taste to them. The coffee was cold and not freshly made.

Do yourself a favor and go eat Chinese at Imperial or subway in the same area. Despite the quick service the food was below sub par. I looked at other reviews before ordering and chose the beef gyro with waffle fries. I received a pita bread with three long beef slices. Not flavored and completely greasy. The tzasiki looked like pudding and mashed potato salad. We also ordered a cheeseburger deluxe– a frozen patty with plastic Kraft cheese! 1 star for our waitress who was attentive.

This place might be a little more expensive than some people want to pay for diner food. But the quality is top notch and the place is immaculate.

The food is good, I wouldn’t say gourmet but good. The service is very quick depending on the amount of people and staff. Whenever I go, it is always quick service, and I have never had a incident with bad food or service and whatnot. So over all, the establishment is great with good food and service.

This was hands down worst diner I’ve been too. It was Saturday morning and about 97℉ and they refused to turn the air conditioning on. Not even the fans worked they said. This was a textbook example of cheap shitty business owners. The service a was terrible and took us extremely long to get the check as we sat in the sweltering heat. No apologies were received from them and the food was mediocre at best. Would not recommend. The only reason this place is in business is because of the prime really estate these cheap assholes built their restaurant on.

There is a time were only the food keeps a place a flot. But customer service is a must. I walk into this dinner and it took 5 minutes to seat myself The hosts was to busy to bring me to a table so I sat myself. The waitress came over and took my order. If you had to stop and get some food to eat stop in but don’t expect good customer service. This is why they got 2 star customers service very important.

For the most part I like this diner but some times the food is just ok. Went in the other night and decided to have the cowboy wrap which consisted of roast beef, a melted piece of Swiss cheese to hold it together, avocado and lettuce. The actual roast beef was delicious but the wrap itself was missing something, maybe it was the cardboard tasting wrap they used. Opted for the sweet potato fries which were good also but how can you mess up fries! My husband got to the chopped sirloin steak with mushroom gravy. When it came out it looked like an overdone hamburger on a bed of rice. And it was missing the gravy! Waitress was a little on the slow side, had to flag her down for gravy, refills and check. Hopefully it was just an off night for them all together.

Gyro time! Ahhhh nothing beats a NJ diner! Had the Gyro with waffle fries so good! All fresh veggies on it and that delicious Tzatziki sauce. It’s amazing how you can order almost anything here and I can guarantee its tasty!

A sure bet in the area. The biggest piece of evidence is the packed parking lot. I used to live right down 46 so I’ve been here plenty of times. Breakfast is what I find best here. Omelettes are hot, fresh, and generous with portion size. Huge selection as well. Reasonable Price. Breakfast deserves 5 stars. Lunch and dinner are still good but not incredible. Sandwiches are sometimes dry but you always get a huge portion. I’ll take that trade any day. Dinner is what you could expect from a good diner. Nothing really to brag or complain about. No matter the meal, you get your bang for your buck with a huge portion, solid quality, and a reasonable price.

Consistently inconsistent. You can have good and bad food, often within the same meal. One person may love what they ordered, while the next person’s order is dry overcooked or just plain terrible. This can happen even if the two people have ordered the same dish. Even the portion sizes can vary. Go figure. The servers are friendly enough, though they are not all so efficient. They don’t do anything particularly well. Even the fries while sometimes crisp, hot and tasty are other times cold and lifeless. A good diner consistently excels at at least breakfast, and even that is inconsistent here. I’m flabbergasted by how sometimes there is even variation in the pancakes. I’m not sure what to make of that. It’s a decent diner if you live locally or need a quick bite while passing by. It’s just not a destination diner.

Park West is your typical NJ diner, but with a little extra quality. This restaurant has a retro flair that blends modern designs with 1950’s diner décor. There is plenty of seating, and the dining area is very clean. The service is quick and the wait staff is kind. The food is delicious, and there are a lot of dining options at a good value too! However, parking is terrible, and can be hard at times since the their lot is small. Park was has yummy omelettes and excellent french fries! I recommend the Greek omelette; it was a scrumptious delight of feta, egg and tomato. Also, their pizza burger is surprisingly good! It is a messy treat of sauce, mozzarella and beef(it sounds weird, but it tastes great). Park west is your typical NJ diner, but I feel has better quality food. You will enjoy it.

The worst part wasn’t even the food. It was the manager that was on that night, yelling at everyone to do things that she could have done while she sat at the corner of the counter on her phone. It was especially awful as we witnessed her yelling at the servers while she spoke exceptionally loud on her cell phone. And last but not least, her talking on the phone about some sort of personal problems at home while she was ringing customers up. At least have the decency to step outside, or save the oh-so-important conversation for a more convenient time if there is no one else the use the register. Maybe not at 12 am midnight would be the best time for that conversation. She should not be in a managers position if she can’t even seat a table herself when her servers are busy, and God help us all if she is in a higher position than that.

Great diner. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area. The diner is on Rt 3, making it a bit of a hassle to get there, but it’s not a total inconvenience. My bf, his mom and I went there for lunch last weekend. The diner has a nice retro feeling to it. They have memorabilia from the past that they like to display. It feels very 60’s. My bf is from Clifton and his used to frequent this diner a lot with his mom so the people know him there. I don’t think we received any preferential treatment though. It was reallyprofessional. Our waiter was very attentive and he came with waters right away. He was very nice and polite. He made sure our glasses were full the entire time without us asking him to. A+ in my book! I ordered the chicken salad triple-decker sandwich. It was pretty incredible. I am a huge chicken salad girl and the sandwich did not disappoint. They really stuffed the sandwich full. I actually had to remove some of the chicken salad because the sandwich couldn’t fit in my mouth! It was very delicious and the ingredients tasted very fresh. Their fries were perfect too. I love fries that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My boyfriend really enjoyed his pastrami sandwich. His mom ordered a chicken caesar salad and she really liked it. The salad was huge though, so she ended up taking ¾ of it home. Overall, this is a great place to grab a bit. One of the go-to’s of Clifton!

Have been coming here for many many years and the experience has gotten worse each time. Tonight we took someone here who was from out of the area and wanted to experience a real diner. We ended up apologizing several times to pur guest for the horrible experience. To start off, pur waited never brought over the complimentary appetizer salad. Every other table had it except the tables that our waiter was serving. I had to ask for bread 3 times and when it finally arrived it was hard as a rock. The soup was OK, but then came the salad. OMG… it was so brown it was disgusting! They didn’t even put the ham, cheese and onion on it that it usually comes with. We asked for new salad which came out the same way… brown and inedible! The dinner came out with cold sides. Main dishes were just OK. Nothing special and pretty bland. The waiter never returned to ask us how everything was or to refill drinks. He finally appeared as I was getting up to get a napkin. His appearance consisted of dropping the check at the table. We weren’t even finished with dinner. Nor were we asked about coffee or dessert. Such a disappointment from a place that used to rule the diner world. We will not be returning. I suggest you don’t waste your money here!

I’m torn. Pretty typical diner fare, maybe a hint better than most. The thing is, they never seem to get my take out order correct. Something is always missing or just wrong. And then this happened to me. Please see the picture of my broccoli side order. It was so laughable I couldn’t be mad!
