Kosta cut my hair and he did an amazing job! He is very nice and personable as well. Loved the cut and the blow out he did when he was finished. My only negative was that they told me $ 42 when I booked the appointment and charged me $ 62. Will definitely go back to Kosta again though and I highly recommend him.

Matt and Julia are the dynamic duo. I lost my hairstylist of 20 years. Looking for a new stylist was a nerve wracking experience, and finding someone whom could blend and has an eye for color was something I didn’t believe I would find easy. I found Zano off of google, originally
Looking for someone to cut my children’s hair. We were booked with Matt. What an amazing experience!!! Matt not only is an addictive, kind, friendly soul, but someone who feel you have known forever, just comfortable. His education and knowledge that flows through conversations just sitting in his chair is most delightful. His golden hands styled my hair with ease and the outcome was pure perfection. Julia got the pleasure of fixing the horrible mess which was really the color of my hair. I was a complete project. She counseled me with ease and just knew by looking how to bring together the most beautiful blend of colors. I AM HOOKED!!! ILove these talented souls. One word amazing!!! If you are looking stop here, these guys are everything and more. I feel confident and sexy with my new hair. Thanks guys for loving what you do and putting love and passion into my look. I have been going to Julia Irvnik for my color and Hannah for my cut for the past year now. I love it! Reception always has a warm welcome and offers beverages. And Julia has transformed my hair. I went from a lack luster black to a soft brown with red golden balyage. When I’m getting my hair cut from Hannah I always get exactly what I ask and she is super pleasant to be around. Fun happy atmosphere. I love that they have the option to receive texts messages confirming your appointment and gives you options to rescheduled.

Recently moved from Chicago to Lisle. So glad I found Zano Salon. Kosta does an amazing job. Best haircuts I’ve ever gotten.

After my stylist at another salon downtown moved far far away and trying countless city salons, I decided to give Zano a try (since it’s by my parents house). I’m incredibly happy with my new ‘do!
I have straight-​as-​a-​board hair that was past my shoulders. I brought in a few photos on long bobs that I was considering as well as a loose perm to give my hair some body. After chatting with my stylist, he explained that we should take baby steps — let’s start with the haircut and then we can work our way to a perm for some texture if need be. I was relieved with his advice because chopping my hair was a drastic change. Don’t get me wrong, I love it… but I needed a day or two to play with it, style it and get to know my new hair style.
My stylist Matt was great the whole way through — chatting about Kimye, Taylor Swift, etc. He explained to me which products he used and why (a huge bonus since after I leave with products, I want to know what to do with them!). The manager Nikki brought me ice water and gossip mags.
All in all, I was very impressed with this salon in the burbs — this city girl may just have to trek out to Lisle every month or so to get my hair done here:) I’ve already scheduled a followup session to get that texture in my hair… after a long discussion with my stylist Matt. I can’t wait to see the results!

I have been here now 4 or 5 times. Seen a few different people for cuts but I’ve got to say, Michael does a FANTASTIC job! He gave me the best haircut of my life last July and I went to someone else last time because Michael was unavailable and I was feeling impatient that week (my bad). So anyhow, today I went back with my mother and we both had our hair cut by Michael again. My mother has NEVER EVER had a cut she’s been satisfied with. Today as I got my hair cut, I looked at her and I could just see pure satisfaction. She LOVED the cut he gave her hands down. I loved mine too of course… I guess I think he’s just magical with a pair of scissors lol. A side note is that he makes me laugh and have a good time the whole visit. hard to come by!
I also had an all-​over color treatment done today by Mikaela. She did a fantastic job. She’s also very sweet and easy to talk to.
Needless to say, my mother and I both already booked our next appointments with the two of them again for the holiday season. We want to make sure they are the ones making us look fabulous again!

I just realized I don’t think I have reviewed this particular Zano, even though I go here every 4 – 6 weeks!
Melissa does my color (she had worked at dt Naperville before coming to the Lisle location). I am not very picky and know that she knows what she is doing, so I let her take the reigns sometimes. It always comes out amazing!
Carly cuts my hair and I would seriously not want it any other way. I am glad Melissa recommended her way back when. I am not, how you say, particularly social– I am pretty quiet. But Carly and Melissa both make it easy to talk and make me feel comfortable. The Lisle location is like this in general.
I have lost count how many times I have been to them and I do not think I will ever go to anyone else. Ever.

I have had many hair cuts by **SPARKLES** & she is the absolute best at cutting my hair! I definetely recommend her! I am very picky about who I have cut my hair & will ONLY trust her! She does EXACTLY what I ask her to do, just by showing her a picture! She’s honest w her opinion since I like to experiment with different looks. I’ve had short (like Hallie Barry) & long hair over the years. Absolutley LOVE her work! :)

Just got a haircut with Carly! She did a wonderful job! Listened to what I wanted, and gave her own suggestions. Will definately be getting cut with her again!

This place is pricey, but I have very thick curly hair and they do a pretty good job working with it and being patient. I have been going here many years but it could be better. The only reason why I go back is because I give them credit for taking the time to blow dry and straighten my hair which takes up a lot of time after a haircut or highlights. I get my haircuts and highlights here. They do a good job with cutting and highlights and Ive never had problems. One thing that I don’t like, is that this salon is not very clear with how much everything costs. They pretty much surprise you at the end with a huge total at the end with stuff you didn’t even know they did because they didn’t tell you. And when they give you a receipt, it doesn’t even show how much everything cost. So you are left clueless. I don’t like that. I’m the one paying for this, you better tell me how much things cost. Also, I feel the front desk receptionists are told how to act, and they are a «fake» nice. They try to act friendly but they really aren’t. They say «my pleasure» and all this other stuff and you can tell they are not genuine at all about it. The customer service needs serious improvement, but overall the salon services are good. That is the only reason why I keep coming back here.

My first visit to Zanos was at the downtown Naperville location. The front desk person was very rude. She was an older woman who acted as if I was inconveniencing her. They are hard core when it comes to selling product. The stylist I saw mentioned what she put in my hair, then at checkout she put a bottle of it up on the counter saying, «I’ll just put it here to discuss it with the front desk person». I had told her I didn’t use any product and I didn’t want any. That really p’d me off. Total turn off. The stylist was young and did an ok job. She added a layer I didn’t ask for but I liked it so I was ok with it. I will write about 2^nd visit in another post. It was about $ 40 for hair cut which is good.

This place is very pricey! 81 dollars for a partial highlight?! Really?!
I went to this place 3−4x only because my former stylist who goes by Mya moved here… she used to color my hair and used to do a fantastic job.
However, the mindset in this salon is very different. There were multiple times where I actually wanted a specific color, and what she wound up doing was stripping my hair (without telling me this), and doing a deep conditioner (again without telling me this) and charging me 255 dollars for my total services… obviously i didnt expect this!
Another experience I recall was when the highlights i received washed out in 5 washings. so I called back for a redo… and THEY CHARGED! What place charges?!
The staff here is a bit on the snotty side… not at all friendly at the front desk…
I will never go back to this place… not unless they figure out what customer service is, and have their prices match their quality

Zanos is on the expensive side but they are able to do things with my really difficult hair that I never thought possible. My hair is very fine and natually wants to stick straight out from my head. It is really horrible to work with but my hair always looks great after they have finished styling it.
They also do an excellent job with highlights — I have had so many compliments on them. Well worth the price and, honestly, I don’t mind moving from station to station. I can use the chance to get up and move around after sitting in a chair for (what feels like) soooo long :-).
