I ordered a floral basket for my Aunt when my Uncle died. They delivered it the day I asked them to and it was absolutely beautiful. My Aunt was very pleased because the arrangement had several types of green plants and gorgeous flowers. It was one of the nicest arrangements I’ve ever sent!

I love this place– they have $ 1 roses on Friday, and a huge amount of knowledge about gardening every day of the week!
First, about the roses– these are not crappy little things that were left over from the week, these are fresh, large, buxom blooms that I am happy to give with pride to people in my life. They have all different colors and breeds, so you can send just the right message. There’s really nothing more thoughtful than fresh flowers, and this place has the goods!
More importantly for me though, the gardening supply here is fantastic. I started growing my own last year after I read about GMO’s and all the nasty stuff in our food supply. Perhaps there’s a bit of paranoia in that statement, but at least if I grow it myself I know exactly what went into it. I can’t remember the guys name who works here, but he’s just a fountain of knowledge when it comes to gardening. I ended up producing a pretty amazing garden last summer thanks to these guys. I used all heirloom seeds and plants and the finished product was simply amazing.
My kids had a lot of fun growing their own stuff too (watermelon, cantaloupe, beans), and the people in the store always had great advice for us. The prices are definitely a little more expensive than Lowe’s or Home Depot, but you can’t get this level of service and knowledge at a big box.

I never want to make a decision on what to get. I just say roughly what I want to spend and generally what I want and they make me up something wonderful. The prices are affordable and they really care about what they’re doing.

I have been a customer of Village Flower and Garden for several years. I will confess, I usually shop there for their amazing selection of home accessories – very organic and reasonably priced. Needing centerpieces for my daugher’s bridal shower, I decided to give them a go for fresh arrangements. Beautifully done – the freshest yellow tulips I’ve seen and so artfully arranged. Marshall and Barb are some of the nicest people around! Love this shop!

We got the flowers for my oldest daughter’s wedding here. Steve was able to put together an artistic, cohesive theme, (church, venue, bride, attendants etc) all within our budget and absolutely beautiful. He worked with pics of my daughter’s dress and the bridesmaids dresses. He gave us the pros and cons of certain flowers and sizes of arrangements in our church and venue and made suggestions. He also let us know which flowers and colors photograph poorly. I appreciated that he spent time with the smaller details. The flower order arrived on time, complete and exactly as we had discussed. I’ll be going there for the flowers for my younger daughter’s wedding in September.

Village Flower and Garden provides flowers for my church. The owner is great to work with, never forgets a special request, and the flowers show up every week on time. LOVE this business!

I have been coming to this florist since I was old enough to Say it With Flowers. Back when it was Joe’s Flowers «Abbondanza». There are a few listings here on Unilocal and other sites with the same address, but I ordered and (my wife) received flowers from this address and this phone number, so I’m creating this listing.
I called at 9:30 AM to get flowers delivered before 11:30 am to my wife’s place of business. I Gave them an idea, they essentially let me name the price. The Delivery charge was 12.50, and they had the flowers there BY 11. I have visited them previously and always been able to find what I want. Recently (when they became Village Flower and Garden) they added a very nice selection of garden and hanging plants. Are they more expensive than Home Depot? Yes. But they are great to work with and they take pride in what they do and what they carry.
