Community Park

I love bringing the kiddos to this park. The play equipment is in great condition and it is a big set so the kids are never bored. There are only two swings so they get a bit impatient waiting for them but they are the nice big plastic ones.
There is a great walking path if you’re interested in getting some exercise. The sea lion pool is right behind the park so it’s a great place to spend the day!
We usually come to the park and pack a lunch so that we can hangout for a while. There are picnic tables but we usually just bring a blanket and sit in the shaded areas.
The only downside to this play area is that there is no regular bathroom. Luckily there are baseball fields close by so there are Porta Pottys at least.
During the summer time, the park district hosts fun concerts, it’s called the totally Tuesday events. Just watch for all the campers, it can get crowded!

Kids LOVE this park! It’s located in front of the sea lion aquatic park and across from Lisle High School. There is a large playground with a few swings. This playground is made for all ages. The park district usually has a few picnic table next to the playground. There is a pavilion with more picnic tables within walking distance.
There are no public restrooms but there is a port a pot across the parking lot. You can use the restrooms at the sea lion aquatic park if you’re there after 4pm.
Across from the park/​aquatic area… you will find a large lake with a walking path. This is the perfect area to go for a long walk.
Overall– kids love this playground and adults love the walking path on a beautiful day!

2 swings, 6 slides, and depending on the season there’s either a bathroom or porta potty near by. I’m super biased here because I played at this park as a young (but still super fabulous) one. It had camels and lots of sand back then. Now there’s no sand, but my minions don’t seem to care. There’s picnic benches, some shade and the ice cream man has this park on his route. The Lisle Park District keeps this park clean and its proximity to Sea Lion Aquatic park is perfect.
