Don’t try bring your well behaved EMS pet here! Was welcomed by the hostess then after being seated and tying my small dog to the chair I was on and I was told by a server they«couldn’t let us stay» because she’s not a trained service dog. Here’s a tip, do your research restaurant, ems dogs don’t need to be trained and the only time you can say that is when they’re misbehaved or rowdy and my dog isn’t. You missed 5 tables in the slowest part of your day and a large tip.

Can’t even give this place a half a star. Horrible food, slow service. Spaghetti hanging on wall should have been a hint. Hair in my husband’s food. Expensive and gross. Soup-gross. Burger gross. Wraps gross. Fries had a hair in it. Grilled cheese with avocado and tomato-$ 11? Please!!!

Great diner food with very friendly staff and friendly customers. Spacious dining room that’s comfortable and perfect for kids/families. Reasonable prices. Chicken souvlaki is fantastic.

My favorite Long Island diner. Classy ambience with dark woods, stained glass combined with great food at diner prices. Shockingly great steaks at reasonable prices! BTW, take advantage of their lunch menue during the week. Generous portions at discount prices.

Nice diner. Really large, clean, and very welcoming. I came in for lunch with a big party of 15. The food was good and all of our orders were accurate, but our waitress could have been more friendly. She really just wanted to get the job done, get our orders in and out, and yelled. She wasn’t mean or rude, but she was just a little abrasive. I know she wanted to get us in and out and we were probably a stressful party, being so large, but she could have been slower, softer, and friendlier, really creating an experience for us as guests.

Best diner experience ever. Went there for breakfast and was promptly seated. Service was fast despite being crowded and being able to switch toast to pancakes(no additional charge) alongside your breakfast, phenomenal. Omlettes cooked perfectly with crispy potatoes on the side. Fluffy pancakes with a whipped maple butter and amazing corn beef hash. The kid’s menu even comes with a huge bakery cookie for dessert. Highly recommended! Prices are extremely reasonable with many other diners charging a third more for lesser quality.

The food was outstanding! I had French toast with sausage. The French toast was delicious! And the sausages were very tasty. My wife got an omelette with home fries. She enjoyed it and I ate half of her home fries and they were outstanding. The waitress was very friendly. The décor was a little dated but that doesn’t matter to much to me as long as the food is good. And the food was certainly good. I will definitely be back!

Visit Date: October 9, 2015 Came here with hubby, MIL, and BIL(Brother in Law) for dinner. The diner is nicely decorated it kind of makes me feel like I’m inside one of the casino restaurants because that’s how it’s decorated. Our server was very funny, I didn’t catch his name but he was making jokes with myself and my BIL. The food was pretty good, a great size portion. I had the California omelet and ate it all up. This is a pretty nice diner experience, classy with the price of a diner. Definitely would be back here again.

The food was good but our waitress was rude as hell. Only started to be fairly decent when it was time for the check. Won’t be returning.

Trust one who grew up in New York City, in Queens, the diner capital of the world, when I tell you this is one of the best diners at which I have ever eaten. And I’m not just saying that to prove that I have impeccable grammar. This place has such a vast selection of food and everything is excellent! I’ve never had a bad meal at GSB and the portions are healthy enough to usually bring a second meal home.

My favorite diner on Long Island. I love how there’s never a wait because the place is so spacious. Their breakfast & lunch is always on point. My bf and I usually go for breakfast but decided to go for lunch today. I ordered a Turkey BLT melt, he ordered the grilled chicken and bacon wrap. Both orders came with fries and were unbelievably good. And if you’re still not convinced, they have an awesome staff that makes sure your coffee is filled and that you’re satisfied with your order. Def 5 stars!

Originally planned on go to I-hop today but the wait was too long so we decided to find something else. Down the road we came across South Bay diner. We were sat immediately rather then the 40 minute wait at I-hop. Service was very friendly and our food was brought out quickly. My girlfriend loved the coffee and someone came to fill it every time she got half way done with her glass. I had the grilled chicken and bacon wrap which was really good. She had the turkey BLT melt which she said was delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

Okay, well hubby and I had an opportunity to go out with each other and no kids in tow for 2 hours and so we said let’s keep it local. Hubby had had breakfast the week prior at South Bay Diner and said it was good. Well I guess it’s hard to mess up scrambled eggs but when it comes to dinner YAKCENTRAL. We both order different entrees and neither one of us enjoyed out meal. In fact I ate a ¼ of my meal and just couldn’t bear it. He ate ½ and we skipped dessert begging for the check(another disappointment) and the door. OVERPRICEDSLOP!

We came here yesterday with a small group(7). Although there was a lot of people waiting, it did not take long to get us seated. The hostess was very polite and attentive, letting us know updates frequently without being asked. Our server was Larry, and he was an amazing waiter. Just top notch. Even though the place was jammed packed, and the menu is pretty extensive, he answered every question we had about different menu items clearly and quickly. His service was prompt, polite and accurate. Our coffees were refilled often by their bus boys and servers. They did not rush us out, even though there was a wait(we left as soon shortly after we were done eating). Food was good, with large portions. Not a single complaint can be had!

Returned to south bay after having a delicious brunch a few weeks back. Was looking forward to see how the dinner fared. Well it was pretty good. My wife got a grilled chicken wrap with roasted red peppers, onions and a little mozz that was scrumptious! I ordered a spinach pie that looked like the biggest hot-pocket you’ve ever seen. I wondered if it was a frozen product. Although it tasted really good I couldn’t get over the shape and I kept thinking of Jim Gaffigan throughout dinner. HOOOOTPOCKET… Cheesecake here was amazing. Wasn’t crowded on a Friday night. Still don’t like the dark room or ugly floral carpeting.
