Lindenhurst Bagels and Deli

I got an everything bagel with cream cheese on a Sunday morning. It was the worst everything bagel I’ve ever had. They toasted it without asking me if I wanted it toasted, and it was burnt to the point that I couldn’t taste the flavors of the everything toppings. The cream cheese was warm and oozing out of the bagel. The place was pretty busy so they must do plenty of business. I can only assume the deli is much better than the bagels.

I’ve went there several times and the bagels are just bad. I tried them again on Sunday because they are located so close to where I live, and its just convenient but I have to say I will not be going ever again. Not to mention the girls at the counter were not so friendly. This place is disappointing.

Being mid-​afternoon, I was expecting my buttered bagel to not be super fresh… But it was! Awesome! :-)
There were many delicious looking cream cheeses to choose from, as well as hot and cold lunch specials and cold cuts.
The place was very clean and the staff was very welcoming and quick to help me. The bagel was very good. I would definitely return here to try something more intricate on another visit.

I’ve been here quite a few times, and to be completely honest, I’m not impressed. The food isn’t all that great, and my order is made incorrectly more often than not. The bagels never seem fresh, and the sandwiches always seem to be missing something. Everything is overpriced. If you’re looking for something to eat, I’d suggest going elsewhere.

I recently moved to Lindenhurst and was in the mood for eggs, so I went here this AM. Ordered eggs, turkey and cheese, salt only. I even repeated it twice, because I really don’t like pepper. I watched the woman write down salt only. I come home to eat and it’s covered in pepper. I called to complain, not because I need the $ 5 back, but for principal that I made a point to say ONLY salt. The man on the phone was nice, but when he mentioned it to the woman that took the order and made the sandwich, she told him that I asked for pepper… yet the paper she wrote it down on went «missing». Just the fact that the woman blatantly lied about it bothers me so much! Other than to claim my credit, not sure I’ll be going back here! I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1, because the gentleman on the phone was polite and apologetic.

I don’t buy breakfast often, but I decided to treat my family with a surprise before they woke up and order a couple of bacon and egg sandwiches. I used the bagel shops texting service so I could get in and out quick and get back before they notice I was gone.
My order was pretty simple. 2 eggs bacon and cheese salt pepper and ketchup. On everything bagels. Nothing too crazy.
After I sent the text to the number on their card, I was given an order number confirmation and a time frame of 15 minutes and the order would be ready.
I took my time getting there, probably about 20 min or so. When I walked in I. Waited for 4 or 5 people ahead of me to order and when I got to the counter I told the person I had sent in the text order and gave my order number.
The person looked confused, then asked 3 or 4 other employees if they had gotten any text orders. After about a min they had realized no one had taken the order out of the machine to process it. At this point they apologized and took the printed out order to the back to make it. To my surprise they came out rather quickly with the 2 sandwiches.
After I got back home however the disappointment continued, the sandwiches were cold (it’s less than a mile from my home) and the orders were BOTH missing the bacon.
Needless to say I will no longer be using this bagel shop, if you can’t get a simple egg sandwich order right. And the texting service WAS in fact too good to be true. Luckily there are no shortage of bagel shops on long island.

Wide variety of breakfast and lunch items, plenty of seating, a great selection for salads, and decent pricing.

As a recent transplant from NYC I love my bagels. In NYC We’re spoiled because we have an abundance of them available to us. Even the «bad» places are better than most others.
Imagine my surprise when the place literally down the block from me has the best bagels I’ve ever had.
Trust me when I say Lindenhurst bagels is the best bagel place ever. They make the absolute best bagel anywhere.
They are my go to before every Jets game (4 – 0 so far) and that just adds to why they’ll be my place forever!
Seriously folks, come here. The staff is awesome, the bagels are ridiculous and the’re right here in wonderful Lindenhurst. You’re welcome. :)

First time customer, definitely will be back. This is the place to be for breakfast or lunch in the Lindenhurst area. Was there for breakfast. Tried the everything bagel with cream cheese-​the best I’ve ever tasted. The service was very professional and top-​notch. Like I said before, will definitely be back!

By far the best deli in lindenhurst. This is a great tasting deli. With a bunch of delightful smelling pastries, bagels, salads coffees and much more. The best part is the costumer service is fast friendly and alright on point. I must say also the awesome happy Spanish man who delivers your food is so sweet and makes your day If you know what’s good for you get your food there

Second trip to Lindenhurst Bagel, still not disappointed. The bagels are still amazing here.
There was a bit of a line this morning but the staff behind the counter really hustled and moved everyone along.
I just spotted Oreo Cream Cheese, now that sounds interesting! Never seen that one before.
They also have a deal where you can txt in your order. I may try that one next time.

Greatest bagels on Long Island. I don’t know what they’re doing but they’re doing it right. Decent coffee, nice selection of drinks and chips. DELICIOUS BROWNIES. Great staff, sandwiches are carefully made and wrapped, super appetizing.
I’d also like to say that this deli does excellently with huge orders. They cater my business breakfasts each month and they haven’t messed up yet. They always have everything ready to go when I come in at 6:30am and help me out to the car as well, even in the pouring rain! Everything is fresh and delicious and hot. Well done.

One word and one word only… WOW. Here’s the real deal, the bagels here are the best I ever tasted in a long time. They make them the ol fashion way where they boil them and then bake them. The consistency and flavor mixed with just right density give you a satisfying bagel experience that will get your mouth to watering and keep you coming back again and again. Seriously you must try this place.

Definitely a home made bagel taste goin on. Prices are fair, coffee is decent. I am pleased to find a local deli that I can actually sit down in after I order the food.
The assortment of bagels is really awesome as well. I tried the everything Flagel which is like a flattened out bagel. Delicious and crispy! I also love the French Toast bagel and classic Pumpernickel.
Nice staff and good menu as well. I will definitely be back!

Very solid bagels, good prices, and the service was very kind (when I stupidly forgot to ask for my bagel toasted she just discarded the buttered bagel and cut and toasted a new one). No frills, but all the basics of a good bagel place in terms of spreads and breakfast sandwich options and drinks.
