Nail Ca Perfection II

The sad part about this BAD review is I’ve gone to them numerous times over the years since I was about 16 and the husband was always more pleasant than his wife. Unfortunately, that changed last weekend. Before he began doing my fill-​in I asked to re-​shape them and he told me I needed a whole new set. That’s complete BULLSHIT. He tried to up-​sell me a new set so I said HELL NO. And left! My friend who was already getting her gel manicure decided to stay so I went across the street to HOLLYWOOD NAILS and got my nails done THE RIGHT WAY. He re-​shaped them WITHOUT trying to up-​sell me! They also did a HORRIBLE gel manicure within 10 minutes on my friend, didn’t shape her nails OR do her cuticles. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT APPRECIATE GOOD CUSTOMERS AND DO NOT TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK! Shitty place. Lost customers. Go somewhere that appreciates you and makes you feel comfortable!

I would not recommend anyone to go here. I was going to get my eyelashes done for the 1^st time here. The woman was very rude, I was asking her what was best because it was my 1^st time getting my eyelashes done. The lady was very rude! I would never go back there anymore for anything.

Waxing Service:
First off, I do want to say this place is great when it comes to mani’s and pedi’s but with waxing it’s a certain NO GO.
I made an appointment to go get my arms waxed and on the price list inside it does say $ 30. When I went in for my wax, the lady (owner) said $ 50. Because I needed it done I just said ok. On my way out however because I saw on two price lists in the salon that Arms are $ 30 I called her out on it and she says «oh but you have a lot of hair.» If they charge by hair amount then they should have $ 30 and up written on their list and not just $ 30.
The woman did a terrible job, it was like it was one of her first times waxing! She missed several patches on my arm and I kept pointing them out to her and she says to me «no, cannot second time!» I’ve never in my life heard that before. I’m assuming it’s because she didn’t want to use more wax. If that’s the reason-​she should have been efficient the first time round! Then I asked her to do my hands and knuckles too (not much hair!) and she again says «no cannot!» If hands were separate then the price list should have said that.
I just didn’t appreciate the lack of work ethic shown to me for her to make a quick $ 50. If I had the proper service and a good job done I wouldn’t have complained about paying $ 50!
Lesson learned-​go elsewhere for waxing.

The place was very clean and nice. But I’m not one to be negative, but I do my nails at one spot only came here because it was an emergency and I will never step foot in there employees are super rude got a pedicure, and they dig a hole in my toe nail. After I told them it hurt they continue after all they still left cuticle on me horrible service

With all the nail salons on wood ave, how do you know which to choose? I’ve been to many since high school days, trying them out, and while they are all priced similar, this is definitely the go to place. Tom, in particular, does a fantastic job every single time. He’s very thorough and a bit of a perfectionist, and it really shows in his work. My nails come out perfect every time, whether I get acrylic tips or something more like pink and white gel. The pedicure chairs are all relatively new and offer massage features. If you’re getting a pedicure I suggest you splurge for the «spa pedicure.» It’s only $ 5 more ad the hot stones are awesome, as well as the luscious scrub they use on your legs and feet.

Came here with my sister today to get a mani and pedi. The employees here are super nice and always greet you as soon as you step inside.
You can’t beat the price. We paid $ 41 for two pedi’s, one mani, and eyebrows. They do a really nice job as well.
