LA Nails

I had been going to this nail salon for 16 years until recently. Years ago they gave phenomenal service at inexpensive prices; however, now, although they’re still cheap, their services are horrible. I went in for a full set of gel tips and I had to basically fight with Tom’s wife in order for her to shape my nails. It’s so obvious that they don’t care anymore about the quality of service they offer. Perhaps it’s due to complacency or even laziness. It’s really a shame because I remember when both of their kids were born. Oh well, after 16 years, I’m looking for another nail salon. It doesn’t matter if I spend more money as long as my nails aren’t falling off a day after I get them done. Good riddance!!!

Terrible. Got a regular manicure on my own nails, was told it would be $ 10. The manicure was sub-​par, and when they gave me the receipt I was charged $ 15 dollars with no explanation. There are plenty of other nail salons on wood avenue. Do yourself a favor and try somewhere else.

The plus is that they are open early-​I was able to get a pedicure at 930 am on my day off which was great. The downside is-​this place is literally swarming with flies! If one lands on me I’m going to leave-​i mean-​it looks clean so where the hell are these flies coming from? The woman who did my toes washed my feet like a pan that had a lot of stuck on grease-​this wasn’t relaxing-​but I was able to leave with painted toe nails this morning.

This salon is relaxing, and the women who work here are friendly and very skilled. I just wish my leg and hand massages lasted longer!
