This was our first visit to Spicoli’s. We made the trip to Lincoln, RI from Central Massachusetts to shop for unfinished furniture at Knock on Wood and we decided to stop for lunch there because, I’ll admit, I initially chose the place because of the name(gnarly, dude!), and because of the great pizza reviews it was given on this and another site. Going in, we had high hopes at least for the food if not for the décor, which has been described as drab, shabby and grossly outdated. Surprisingly, while it was indeed outdated and nothing to write home about, we did not find the unassuming décor offensive in the least and I did not take off any stars because of the dated look. We expect neighborhood pizza joints to look this way — -that’s half the charm — much better than some«groomed» chains. But judging from their menu, Spicoli’s seems to be much more than a neighborhood pizza joint and watering hole. We were not disappointed in the food. Sis had her mind set on pizza and her«Super» pie was well received, the larger-than-normal«small» pizza’s nice and crispy crust was loaded with fresh toppings, delivered hot and delicious, mozzarella oozing and stringing, from their oven. Being in the mood for them and having had pizza for dinner just the night before, I chose their boneless Buffalo chicken tenders appetizer for my lunch. The plate consisted of four large white chicken breast filets rather than tender strips, which were more than tender and juicy. Served with celery sticks and a chunky bleu cheese dressing on the side, my only complaint was that the hot sauce used to coat the chicken was not nearly hot enough for my taste. This was quickly remedied though after I requested some Tabasco sauce to douse them with. Once that was done, I honestly think these were the best Buffalo«tenders» I have ever had. Our genuinely friendly server, Doreen, took good care of us and I noticed no preference to local«regulars» as referenced in reviews here. She even told us of the background of the establishment’s name and offered personal advice on menu choices for our next visit. We’re looking forward to returning to Spicoli’s in a month’s time, when we pick up our furniture order at Knock on Wood. I found the establishment to be clean, organized and efficient. The food we sampled on our maiden visit was delicious, the portions are generous, and prices are more than reasonable. I would highly recommend Spicoli’s to friends and family and look forward to sampling more from their varied menu.

The pizza here is outstanding! We love getting pizza from here. Its very fresh and just really good. The place itself needs some updating. There are usually regulars sitting at the bar or standing there when you walk in, in odd seating. There is no one to really great you. if they have this updated it would definitely be a go to place, but for now we do take out.

Décor is outdated but other than that I have no complaints. Prices are great, service is attentive and I was pleased with the pizza, nachos and spinach dip appetizer.

Late night eats a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it. The bartender was extremely friendly and talkative. Always nice to be served by someone who appears to enjoy what they do. The buffalo chicken pizza was phenomenal! Crispy, spicy and delicious! As for the drinks, I ordered a Bocce Ball. Right mix of alcohol; not too sweet and not too overloaded with vodka. When I’m back in the area, I definitely want to go again.

Great pizza! And great service. I come here during the winter months with the family because it’s a cozy place to have a beer and eat some pizza. The pizza is VERY freshly made and delicious. Also the burgers are good if you aren’t feeling like eating pizza. I recommend this place for some great bar food and pizza. Enjoy!

I am not really a fan of this establishment. Food is a bit pricey and it appears that if you are not a regular or don’t know every waitress in the place, you don’t get good service. They definitely cater more to the folks they know and that frequent this place. Pizza is pretty good when cooked right. I have gotten a few there that were subpar. When I called and informed them that the pizza was made poorly and missing pepperoni, I didn’t even get an apology. Owned by very nice local folks, but not good service at all. I would like for them to change and accept new comers. Right now the waitresses know everyone and are more concerned with dealing with the people they know versus the people they don’t, or they are chatting amongst themselves and ignoring you completely.

I discovered Spicoli’s after a friend of mine had mentioned thier pizza. I had gone there 20 years ago when it used to be the Golden Elks lodge, but had never gotten around to checking it out til a month or so ago. I had some friends over and we decided to order a few pizza’s and boy, am i glad i did! We ordered 3 large pies(veggie, meat lovers and NY System) and they were delicious! The hit was the Weiner pizza… if you love«gagga’s all the way» this is the bomb . I have since called and ordered takeout a few times to get my NYSystem fix… twice the girl who answered the phone forgot to put the order in, but when i got there, everyone from the waitress to the bartender to the GM apologized. They offered me a drink on the house while they cooked the pizza and the second time they gave me the pizza, asking that i please come back. I’ve been in the restaurant business for 30+ years, even working for Bertucci’s for a few years, so i know good customer service when i see it. The GM went above and beyond… made no excuses… and made sure that my order was expedited asap! This is my new go to pizza place after being a loyal fan of the local Saki’s that recenty closed in Cumberland. I wish i had found this place earlier! Great food, excellent customer service!

I frequent this place often and i have yet to have a bad meal/experience. The Black Jack burger, Italian grinder, shrimp spicoli’s style, and the baked scrod are all very good but pale in comparison to their pizza. Daily Handmade dough cooked to perfection will make this your new«Go-to’ pizza place. Also the service is incredible and the owner really created a welcoming atmosphere… This has become my «Cheers»

Don’t know why people rave about this place. I’ve had much better pizza and apps elsewhere. It’s okay for a family night out since it’s relatively inexpensive. They have very limited draft beer on hand. Wine menu needs work. Wouldn’t recommend.

Spicoli’s is just as it’s rated A-OK. Its a local restaurant owned by local people and has pretty good food, good drinks and okay service. The pizza is fantastic and their burgers are good. Because it is locally owned, the owners are usually there working in some capacity. Their staff is comprised of young adults and they really try hard. It’s an excellent place to grab a meal with the family or have a drink after work. If you are looking for a romantic night out on the town, you might want to try someplace else.

Best mozzarella sticks and pizza. The wiener pizza is a favorite but every time I order it, this happens: Me on the phone — «I would like a small wiener *insert laughter* pizza». All joking aside, this place is excellent.

I saw a guy have a stroke here once, not sure why because the food was great. The interior is a bit dated and the lighting a bit drab. So the identity of the dining room is up in the air. The food is always good. Wiener pizza, antipasto pizza, and chicken bacon ranch pizzas are the standouts. Good beer selection for a local pizza shack. they get seasonals and some stuff off the beaten path. The owners are nice as I have meet them on numerous occasions. This is a local business I want to see stick around.
