Great family run and family owned local spot. I stopped here early Sunday morning after a poker playing session at nearby Twin Park Casino, that has no breakfast place. Shanna’s was recommended by some fellow players — so I hungrily headed over. The service was friendly and quick; the menu included all of the typical breakfast items, and the prices extremely reasonable. I ordered three poached eggs, toast, home fries, coffee, and homemade hash. All were perfectly prepared and delicious. The price extremely reasonable. I can’t wait to go back and try the pancakes and French toast.

I have been here many times and always was happy with everything. Today was not so good. My food was delicious, except for the missing muffin, which I asked for 2 times, it was taken off bill in end. My husbands French toast was lukewarm, not as good as usual. Need to make sure all food is hot when served no matter how busy.

I love Turkey Clubs but now will never be able to eat another one EXCEPT at Shanna’s. REALFRESH Roast Turkey slices cut ¼″ thick. Plus I do not know what they put on their French Fries but I eat them all and that is a first. The service was friendly and great. A lot of local people filled the place. If your looking for GREAT food at a great price then come to this Great Country Kitchen!

Shanna’s Country Kitchen is the place you go where everyone knows your name. Or learns it very quickly. It’s a family owned and operated business and they really do know the names of their regular customers(of which there are plenty). This is a typical breakfast place with usual breakfast items on the menu. I like the service that I get there. I went with a friend and my grandson and the waitress was incredibly helpful. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes but Shanna made one of the pancakes plain and put it on a separate plate already all cut up in small bites already for my 12-month-old grandson. It’s small things like that that make me return time and again. Shanna’s is back behind a house so you need to look for it. It’s not far from CCRI’s Lincoln campus. The only reason it’s not five stars is because they don’t have a terribly creative menu.

It’s a decent little place set back off the road so u might miss it. The layout is a little weird with the seating. The food is good and the service is pleasant and friendly. They are on top of everything you ask and need. Typical breakfast food with nothing fancy, price is good and easy on the wallet.

We’ve been here twice for breakfast. The staff is always pleasant. The refills on coffee come frequently. The seating is a little odd. They have long cafeteria type tables in the middle that seats about 8 – 10 people. And then about 10 to 12 tables that sit 4 people. It’s a little weird getting the big tables because people can and will share it with you! The food is good. Typical breakfast place menu. Again, the wait staff are great!

Decent little spot for breakfast. I enjoyed the abundance of booths rather than tables. Service is quick and friendly, food is pretty standard. Loved the homemade corned beef hash and the variety of flavored coffees, but the homefries were the standard soggy orange potatoes that you see at most places. I tried to substitute for the homemade baked beans(which on the menu were considerably less expensive than homefries) but was told I could only substitute for applesauce or a fruit of some sort. Kind of disappointing. Overall, this place is okay. I’d only come back if I was in the area, there’s nothing to really rave about.

Finally a place in Rhode Island that knows how to make GOOD country gravy. I have spent the last 3 years going to different breakfast places and when ever the Country Gravy is on the menu — tried it. Needless to say that this girl who spent several years in the southern states was very dissapointed — but not with Shanna’s. The Biscuits are a little disapointing(tasted like they popped out of a can), but the gravy was yummy goodness. If you are looking for a nice, clean, friendly place to have breakfast — this is your place. Don’t forget to bing some cash as they dont take a card.
