Having lived in the bay area, we had Chavez Supermarkets to go to for marinated carne asada meat. We were hard pressed to find a place like Chavez that sells the carne asada meat already marinated, for a family get together we were having, I guess we could’ve gotten plain carne asada meat, but I don’t know how to marinate it or what Chavez put in is, so it’s much easier to get it already done. DH found this spot and it was $ 5.29/lb for it already marinated, it was a hit. We go by the rule of thumb to buy ½ lb of meat per person, the meat was perfect, so perfect there was none left, we will definitely be going back.
