Slow service… took 15 minutes to get an ice tea, and we were only customers in there at 6pm. Their 2 chimichanga dinner is really 1 chimi, cut in half. No atmosphere at all. Just another mediocre corner mexicen restaurant.

When my friends told me that they were taking me to an El Salvadorian restaurant in Lincoln Park, I was like ??? I was so excited because I love finding fun, ethnic foods in random parts of Michigan. The menu didn’t look too different from a Mexican restaurant but you could definitely tell there were some atypical, more specialized dishes available including fresh drinks and desserts. I ordered two tamales(one Mexican, one Salvadorian) and a pork pupusa. My sister ordered enchiladas and a pasteles. Someone else ordered the Bandera — Carribean style beef with rice and beans. Everything was home made from what I could tell and the pupusa was incredible! This was my first time having such a thing and I loved the soft pork mixture and the fresh coleslaw. My friend had ordered a spinach pupusa which he thoroughly enjoyed. I wish this place was closer to me because I would definitely take my family and friends here!

I just happened to drive by and decided to try out the place. Authentic home cooked food with very reasonable prices. The wait after ordering is a while since they cook it fresh after you order but the food is delicious. The pupusas and tamales are really good.
