This is among the most beautiful shops I’ve ever entered. Not at first, I will say, but just start looking. A little closer. Then closer, still. Then you’ll see what I mean. I was pulled further and further into the store as I continued to see more and more stunning stuff. Really unique and eclectic jewelry, baubles, accessories, and much more. Some of the items are contemporary, but will be classics in time. Others already are. I tried on a pair of 30s sunglasses that were exactly my prescription. Apparently, many other, 20⁄20 buyers had tried them on, but they were waiting for me. Then I saw a 60s pillbox hat covered in feathers arranged absolutely flat in hypnotic, swirling pattern, like a kind of organic fabric, that I simply had to own. I bought both items. Little did I know that while we were on this trip, my 96-year-old mother passed away 2,500 miles away from Lincoln City. I wore that hat and sunglasses to her funeral a week later. She would have approved. PS — You will enjoy chatting with the shopkeeper, a very interesting, cordial, and well-informed woman.
