I was afraid to try this place. My favorite is provinos. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Well I absolutely loved it here. Meatball sub was good. Pizza is amazing. Pasta good as well.

Bambinelli’s is a great choice for Italian. I’ve not had anything less than delicious every time I’ve gone. The portions are good, the quality is good, and the prices are reasonable. I couldn’t ask for more.

Hands down, this is the best Italian restaurant in Lilburn! This is the place my wife and I bring family and friends for special occasions. We’ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The employees are very friendly, helpful and efficient. The have been especially resourceful in handling special requests such as seating arrangements on a crowded night. The extensive menu offers many choices including pasta, pizza, seafood and submarine sandwiches. Everything we’ve tried has been excellent and the serving size is appropriate for an NFL linebacker. Plan on having left overs for the next day. Recommendations: mussels over pasta, spaghetti with meat sauce, Grouper, Italian sub, lasagne, eggplant Parmesan and the fresh tossed House salad. It’s always crisp and fresh made from romaine lettuce. Check out the weekday lunch specials, a real value.

I had baked ziti with sausage. Wife had eggplant parmesan. Large portions, but was oversauced, and the sauce was over cooked and too sweet for my taste, and needed more garlic. Service good. Garlic rolls were great.

Best little local Italian place in Gwinnett. Blows the chains away. Awesome food, fresh and seemingly homemade. Great service.

The food was was delicious the chicken pesto pizza was simply amazing and the pasta was amazing but the service was a little to pushy like they where in a rush for us to leave I’m icing five stars because the food was just that great I just hope next time our waiter wasn’t I’m a hurry.

I got delivery and the minimum was at least $ 15. They forgot my drink which was a really big disappointment. The food was ok only. Later on it made my stomach hurt. I really like the bread though.

Last week Wednesday, I ordered a 2 large cheese pizzas. I wanted to have that authentic New York feel. It was decent, not to terrible but not as cheesy as I would like. I had it delivered and it came pretty quickly. The pie was satisfying but in order for me to get a true feel, I’ll order another pie.

It was my first time visit this restaurant, and my boyfriend’s third time. You can smell the food as soon as you walk in the door, which increases your appetite for sure. It take about 5 – 10 minutes before a server attended us after being seated, BUT server was really nice. They give free freshly baked garlic bread(delicious). We ordered the chicken Alfredo $ 11 and the chicken parmigiana $ 10 off of the lunch special which includes their house salad and a soft drink. Most restaurants reduce the portion size when it comes to lunch specials, but this restaurant definitely does not. It was so much food(asked for the to go to have as my lunch for the next day, because they serve so much of their delicious food) ! Chicken was tender and juicy for both plates, pasta and sauces were delicious as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you’re ever craving Italian food!

I went in for the lunch time special and left completely stuffed. I got the eggplant parm lunch for $ 8.99 and they must have given me a dinner plate. It was a good sized serving including a salad and garlic rolls. I washed it all down with a nice cold Blue Moon. It was a perfect Friday afternoon. They have plenty of tv’s at the bar as well and the atmosphere was great! It was all worth it!

Great rolls. Be prepared to spend 15 bucks for a bowl of over cooked spaghetti and a drink. Prices used to be cheaper and the quantity used to be a lot more. This place seems to be going downhill and FAST. I’d only recommend this place if you don’t know ANY other Italian food places in the area.

Service was nice, but the food lacked flavor. My pasta dish was lukewarm, the veal dish was bland. Only plus to the meal was the rolls, they were ok.

It was crowded on a Saturday night and we had to wait over 30 minutes. We had been here one time years ago and had not returned since it wasn’t great the first time. We decided to give this place another try. Now I remembered why we hadn’t returned. The food was very bland. I got the fetucinni Alfredo with chicken and I had to add a lot of pepper to give it some flavor. I gave it two stars because the service was good and the food came out really fast. However, we won’t be back.

I have been driving by Bambinelli’s for years but just ate there for first time on Valentine’ Day with my family this past weekend. Boy do I feel sorry I let so much time go by before dining here. We had an excellent experience. We had the calamari, shrimp alfredo, scallop pasta, pepperoni pizza, garlic rolls, and a bottle of red wine. Love that everything was brimming with garlic and also the fresh parsley in the pasta. Portions were very generous. Calamari was crispy, just the way I like it. The cheese on the pizza was good quality and the sauce was on point. The pastas had great flavor and the shrimp, scallops, and crab were cooked perfectly. The garlic rolls were to die for. Can’t wait to try other items in the menu. Mattie was our server and she was great. Very good attitude and friendly demeanor. I will now save the coupons I get in the mail for Bambinelli’s and save them for future visits. This place is much better than Olive Garden, Carraba’s, etc. My family enjoyed the food and service and we will definitely go back.

Service was slow even though the place wasn’t that busy. Booth seat was torn, plates were chipped. The place needs a good cleaning. Bartender could barely open our bottle of wine. I almost thought she was going to put it between her legs as she tried to pull the cork out. I felt embarrassed for her and even offered to open it myself. A HUGE difference from our previous visits.

I go here when I crave homemade Italian goodness. There are days when you simply need some comfort food and spaghetti comes to the rescue. It’s carbs heaven! My favorites are eggplant, chicken or meatball parmigiana. The tomato sauce tastes so homemade, it’s what truly makes the dish. My only pick is the level of salt in the meatball. Less would have been a lot better. Another favorite is the minestrone soup. Fresh ingredients, tastes as if it comes from your grandma’s kitchen. It’s so good! Been to both this location and that of northlake parkway. I have to say though they are the same chain, the food at northlake is somehow better.

If you are looking for generic, red sauce-laden Italian food in a semi-casual environment, this is the place for you. I ordered a salad and an order of eggplant Parmesan to go one evening when I just could not handle cooking. I didn’t call ahead, just stopped in. I had to wait maybe 10 – 15 minutes for my order. I sat at the bar, and was offered a drink while I waited. The staff was extremely friendly without being overbearing. The eggplant came in a foil plate on a huge pile of linguine, and the salad was ample with a side of house Italian dressing. The package was packed very well for me to transport, with nothing leaking or spilling in the outer brown paper bag. When I unpacked the bag at home, I also found a pack of garlic rolls that were irresistible. Actually, I think if I’d ordered rolls, red sauce, and salad, I could have made that my entire meal. In fact, writing this review is making me want to go order this whole meal again. Maybe I’m just hungry, though. Anyway, the portion of eggplant and linguine was insanely huge. It could easily have been shared between two adults, three if you had modest appetites. I made mine two lunches and a mini-snack. The eggplant was perfectly standard, just exactly what you expect without any surprises. It’s definitely not gourmet, but sometimes«not gourmet» is perfect. It was a little pricey for the quality, at $ 18 for whole meal, but since it was 2 ½ meals, that isn’t too bad.
