WOW… this place is fantastic. Ordered a whole mango pie as we order this every time we come. The crust is perfect and it is filled with the freshest, sweetest mango you can imagine. Highly recommended.

The lilikoi mango pie is a slice of heaven and a must try. Don’t let the blueberry Piña colada be a missed opportunity. In general, if you like pies, you can’t go here.

If you want a special treat to eat or take out, you have to go to the Right Slice. They have over 25 different pies they bake on the premise. Also they make specialty pies such as Turkey Pot Pie, Shepard’s pie and several others. Just incredible taste and if you call them they will make to order to take out or eat there. If you are staying at the Marriott across the street go this place for lunch or take home. PS try the chocolate coconut macaroon pie or the lilikoi cheesecake!!!

I was referred to this place from a friend. Came to this place on my last day in Kauai. It was a really small place in the back corner of the plaza. I go a few slices of pie and the small samplers. Everything tasted fresh and good. I recommend trying it at least one time.

We ordered a lilikoi cheesecake for our wedding and it was everything we had hoped it would be… delicious! Luckily we had six adults to finish it off as it was super huge and the fact that it was amazingly rich, meant you had to eat smaller slices more often :) A second benefit is the glass pie container that has to be returned to get your deposit back… Basically I used it as an excuse to try one of their pot pies and YAY that was amazing as well. Cant wait to go back for our anniversary and buy a new pie!!!

There are a lot of tastes and flavors that are not readily available in the islands. It’s hard if you eat an amazing dish and know you won’t be able to have it again… at least for a while. So I was pleasantly surprised to find The Right Slice… doing it ‘Right’. It is so hard to find good savory pies in Hawaii and I surely didn’t expect to find it on Kauai. They had chicken pot pies available, and also shepard’s pie! Yum! I was quick to place an order for both, as well as a Mango lillikoi pie. I was told that it would take a little while(usually about an hour), but the lady she could do it faster, closer to 45 minutes, which was nice. I drove over to pick up the pies, and the smell coming from this small establishment… was amazing. Inside there is a display case that was filled with goodness. Fortunately I had already chosen my pies, so I didn’t have to make a choice… whew! I told the lady my order and she quickly pulled it out of the oven and packed it for me. I was told that they also make pies that you can take home and reheat later… brilliant! When I got to dig in to the pies, they were tasty! The shepard’s pie had a soft mashed potato topping and a nice meaty inside that was delicate in flavor, but the real star was the chicken pot pie. Full of vegetables and meat, the seasoning was perfect. The mango lillikoi pie was also very good. The focus was on the fruit inside, without a ton of sugar. You could really taste the tartness, and the pie was not too sweet, which was great. The best part of all the pies was the crust. Super crisp and full of buttery flavor, the crust on all three types of pies was perfect. I think it is extra hard to do pastry in Hawaii because of the ever changing humidity… but I could eat this crust just by itself! Know that I have issues with chicken pot pies because a lot of people don’t crust the bottom. They put a soup/stew like mixture on the bottom and then throw it in the oven for a few minutes with a sort of pastry top… THAT’S NOT A CHICKENPOTPIE!!! A chicken pot pie has a nice crispy shell of dough on the bottom, as well as on top… as it’s done here, at The Right Slice. So good… place your orders now!

Kinda hidden in the back of Harbor Mall. Enjoyed six flavors of mini pies at 6 for $ 10 and a slice of Macadamia pie. The Mac pie is exceptional! Look for them at the farmers markets.

Two words: Mango Lillikoi. This pie was extremely well made with unique local flavors and was an awesome treat in Kauai. If you are staying at the Kauai Marriott then Right Slice is right across the street in the small mall and you should definitely check it out.

The pies have a homemade taste to them instead of that made-in-bulk taste that high volume bakeries usually have. They used to be located in the industrial part of Lihue but they’ve moved nearer to the coast in this shopping center with other random shops like a nail salon, phone repair, bar/restaurant are located in. Parking is shared for all the shops in the shopping center and free after 5 or I think some other hour in the late afternoon. Their pie flavors are unique. Mango lilikoi pie, lilikoi cheesecake, chocolate coconut macaroon, blueberry piña colada. They even have variations like no added sugar or gluten free(gluten free pie what? I know, it’s crazy.) I’ve only tried mango lilikoi pie and I liked it. Super fruity, not too too sweet, and with that homemade bite to it that I was talking about earlier. They also have cute mini«menehune» pie. I do wish they had the run of the mill island flavor pies such as lilikoi chiffon pie or chocolate haupia pie. The only flavor they have that’s in that category is macadamia nut.

How have we existed on Kauai before The Right Slice arrived? I was first introduced to these deliciously, fabulous pies at the Sunshine Farmers’ Markets around the island. While there are more than enough flavors, sweet and savory, to fulfill any pie-lover’s fantasy, it is hard to go wrong with the proverbial favorites; Mac, coconut cream, Lilikoi, and the chocolate coconut. Don’t forget to sign up for their«frequent shopper» program because, you will return. The«baby» pies are perfect to give you the opportunity to sample more flavors. If you can’t visit their two permanent shops, they still make the rounds of famers’ markets. Arrive early because the pies fly off the shelf… or table as it is.

We got 3 slices of The Right Slice pie at the Hanalei Farmers Market(the one on Tuesday, not the one on Saturday), it was very very good. We had a cheesecake slice, I think it was lilikoi flavor — the crust was amazing. Then a macadamia nut slice, like a pecan pie, very rich, nice crust. Finally the mango pie — which would be great with ice cream, like a peach pie, but with an island flair. I would definitely recommend! They also do small full pies that you can take home, probably 4 good size slices, which would be fun for a dinner back at the hotel or rental.
