I walked in and asked the clerk owner whoever she was to dispose of my water bottle. She refused… her reason? Her trash can was too small… took my business down the side walk to her competition. The store was small and congested. The items looked like they should belong in the garbage and not on the rack. Will not recommend nor return.

When it comes to consignment this is one of the best on the island! Gloria’s prices are so reasonable. Some other boutiques price their used clothes at the new cloths price. The whole point of consignment is to score on the clothing price. Gloria is also super helpfully when trying to decided is something looks «ok» or not. I love that there is also a place on Kauai to get bachelorette stuff. Hard to find! I have been shopping at lifestlyes for years now and will always recommend it!

if you call after hours, you get the answering machine recording. It’s blasting «barbie girl» in the background, with Gloria’s voice describing the shop. something like, lifestyles is a fun, upbeat boutique specializing in trendy clothes, funky accessories, bachelorette novelties, and scandalous lingerie.
the owner is gloria cataluna who has an eye for fashion and offers an alternative to the mall and the tourist shops. as with any consignment, sellers get store credit or cash. not sure on the rates. make an appointment so you can find out within 10 seconds just how fashionable or dorky your closet is.
they sell bebe, abercrombie & fitch, hollister, arden b, forever 21 and other brands from stores not found on kauai.
hours are pretty loose, her recording says they’re open from about 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the week and 11 to 1:30 or 2 on Saturdays. call ahead to see if they are open.
