I was here a couple nights ago for a fundraiser my friend was having, so review is pretty much for the event, not a stay at the hotel. When I first walked into the lobby, the hotel looked clean and nice. There was even a directional sign(always in the lobby and changed when needed) so no need to ask hotel staff where an event is being held, unless you don’t exactly know where the room(s) where the event is being held. I also noticed the dining area where(I assume) breakfast is held every morning, and it looked like is was a decent size(compared to some other hotels I have stayed at in the past). For those that have never been to the hotel, it might be tricky to get to if you are not familiar with the area. The hotel pretty much sits at the intersection of I-20&HWY378. Coming from I-20(Going towards Lexington), you will be making a left at the first light past I-20(and also, there is two left turn lanes — you want to be in the left of the two). When you make your left, the first turns to your left are the exit(s) from Chick-Fil-A. You’ll see then a left turn only lane and that is where you’ll want to turn. You’ll drive behind Chick-Fil-A as well as the new stores that are currently being built and then you’ll be at the hotel. From the event standpoint, the(room(s) we were in were OK. There were not too many(only two) tables to sit at — not sure if that was request from organizer or from hotel. There was a silent auction going on, as well as tables for catering, a DJ. Emcee area and an area for pictures, but for the amount of people in attendance, it would have been good to have more seating available as there were quite a few people standing around.
