Starbucks

From 2007 – 2012, this was by far the best Starbucks in Lexington, with friendly, competent staff both at the drive through and working at the cash registers inside. Austin Robinson was an outstanding manager who would go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure his customers were happy. The overall morale of the crew seemed to be great too.
For the first two years after Austin left to focus more on his graduate studies, this Starbucks’ level of customer service continued to meet all my expectations. For one reason or another, the quality of the drinks stopped being consistent, though. The current manager is a very nice individual and he runs a well-​organized Starbucks.
However, the customer service at this Starbucks location has gone WAY downhill over the past 6 – 12 months. They’ve failed to attach lids securely on my drinks multiple times, which has resulted in stains on my clothes. One time I was completely ignored in the drive through for several minutes.
Most recently, one of the employees was incredibly rude to not only myself, but multiple customers. No matter what time of day it is, it’s expected that people working the cash register will greet customers with a smile and a simple hello. Then, when the customer is finished ordering, it’s expected that the cashier will say thanks and ask for the customer’s name. This particular employee failed in all these areas.
Due to multiple incidents in the past 6 – 12 months, I will not be returning to this location. Instead, I will go to the Boston Road location, where the quality of drinks and the customer service are both outstanding on a consistent basis. Heck, I’ll even go to the South Broadway Starbucks before I ever return to the Versailles Road location.

Sup sup!!! I rolled up on my lunch break today to get sorted out with some of that real good Starbucks coffee because I was kinda tired today and it was such a nice day out so I wanted to go out for a little bit today so I went to my local Starbucks BABY and when I got there I was feeling good and I was wearing a green button-​up and I was looking FLY so I decided to treat myself to a VANILLA LATTE BABY Well anyway the coffee was good and this is the closest Starbucks to where I work so I will be back. Ok then bye for now…

Favorite starbucks in Lexington. Nice interior and outdoor seating area. Friendly service:)

They’re fairly inconsistent with drinks here. I’ve had better luck at the Boston Road Starbucks, which isn’t far. Everyone here is friendly, though, and service is usually fast.

Best place ever. Hands down. That passion tea lemonade is incredible. I get it almost everyone I go. The staff here is so kind and always willing to help! My only concern is sometimes I wait for a while and the people that order after me get there treats before I do, yikes! And they are constantly running out of things. But I guess that could be taken a good way, considering that there running out because lots of people go there. Overall this is a great place to do work and chill with friends

I stop here every morning for my coffee. The staff knows exactly what I want and are always entertaining.

I have consistently gotten poorly made drinks here. Weak chai tea, sour dolce, overtly bitter pumpkin spice… It’s like they are using old, cold espresso. The baristas and equipment should be trained and cleaned, respectively. However, saying that; the drive trough staff is usually very friendly and the service is quick.

It’s a Starbucks. I come here when I have $ on my Sbux card. Otherwise I drink local because I don’t like their drip coffee, and that’s most often what I want. If you want a proper cappuccino, I suggest you order one when the guy with dark hair and glasses is manning the espresso machine. Some things are different than Sbux back home (E coast). When I order French press here, they ask what size and then give me only that amount. I’m used to ordering, paying for, and receiving the entire press and a mug so I can sip at my leisure. Also, this Sbux will make French press only with what they have open. Perhaps I was spoiled, but I could order any coffee in stock back home. Disappointingly, this Sbux never had (that I noticed) the delicious tiramisu latte that I had elsewhere over the Xmas holiday.

I have to admit-I’m going to miss coming to this Starbucks! I came here on the weekends to the drive thru with my dog. They were great about greeting him and giving him a treat. There were a couple times though that my order was rushed, wrong, and felt like they just wanted to get on to the next person. When they got my order right and chatted with me while I waited for my coffee, that was much better. I really like the staff overall and how sweet they were to me and my dog.

The staff is always extremely friendly, accommodating, and quick. It’s never too packed in here either. The place is very clean, and the patio outside makes for nice people watching.

Solid location. Very friendly staff and not much of a wait. I’ll be back.
