I recently went to this particular Starbucks in search of one the Molten Lava specialty drinks. It was being offered for a very limited time(February 11 thru February 14). I went on the 12th. After waiting over 5 minutes in the drive-thru line I requested one of the molten lava drinks. I was told that they couldn’t make that particular drink so I requested one of the other molten lava drinks. I was the told that they could not make any of the molten lava drinks and was there something else they could make for me. I responded«no, nothing for me today». The guy then said«ok, see you at the window!» Seriously? I didn’t order anything so why would I waste any more time there? Said employee needs to use some common sense. A better response would have been«sorry for the inconvenience; if you would pull around the window I would be happy to give you a voucher for free drink». Guess customer satisfaction doesn’t mean much to this establishment.

If you want to go get coffee and hear the employees scream, wrestle, and being completely obnoxious and immature, this is the place for you. I have never in my life seen adults act so childish with a full shop of people. Apparently the manager is unaware of what goes on here during the day…

Not all Starbucks are created equal. I’ve been to Starbucks all over this country, including the original in Seattle and service and product availability varies from location to location. Despite living close to this location for almost a year I had yet to be inside this store until this morning. I met a friend for a meeting this morning around 9AM. I walked in and it was quite busy as most locations are around this time. I set my iPad down and got in line while waiting for my friend to arrive. The baristas had the line moving quickly, almost too quickly. It was great. I put in my order, grabbed a seat and waited for my name to be called. Before I knew it, the barista brought my oatmeal and coffee over to my table! What a great surprise. The meeting went smooth, and my coffee was fresh. Thanks Starbucks!

I am a regular and normally go in the mornings and have notice the staff is not as very friendly for the most part. Dave is the exception and I like going in when he works(greets you, etc) and beginning not to when he is not. I went into today(open few minutes late) and no greeting, what do you want, gave my ordered got my order I said«thank you» staff said nothing. Notice this is becoming the standard.

I prefer local coffee shops, but on occasions I meet friends for a hit of caffeine and some nice conversation. This on is hit or miss in my opinion. The staff at this one are either the best thing ever or working zombies. Don’t worry the zombies here don’t bite. Well, at least not yet. The store is always clean. The staff as I said before are hit or miss. My last time here, the store was closed. They were doing something. They had a coffee cart outside with a note that said. We are closed but will open on blah date. Blah that. We drove around the corner to the next Starbucks. Take ZombieBucks.

I’ve been to most of the Starbucks locations and while the atmosphere here is fine, the workers are much worse than the other locations. Despite usually having quite a few people working, they are VERY slow to take orders and make drinks, and the majority come across as unfriendly. I’ve been here about 6 times and there have been 2 employees that were friendly and helpful, but they are definitely in the minority at this location. Additionally, the espresso-based drinks here aren’t as good as at other locations. The temperature is usually lukewarm and the milk isn’t well frothed. If you’re getting an iced drink and this is the closest location, it’s probably fine, but in all other situations, I’d definitely skip this one for a different location or(better yet) one of Lexington’s several great local coffee shops.

It makes me sad to see the bad reviews of this Starbucks. It’s my favorite in town. The staff here go above & beyond. It’s close to where I work so I frequent often. Most of the staff knows me by name & my drink by heart. I’ve never had to wait too long in drive through or in line inside the store.

I’ve always had a good experiences at this Starbucks and never really had any issues. I go enough that some of the staff knows my name or at the least recognizes me. The manager is very kind and they have always fixed any issue I’ve had with a drink, which is not often. The drive thru is run efficiently and it is enjoyable to sit inside or out even with the busy traffic of Richmond rd. o

The coffee is, of course, great. This location is actually the most convenient to our home, but the service, cleanliness, and atmosphere lack the standards that most Starbucks have. Unless we are short on time, my husband and I drive to the location on Nicholasville Rd or near Hamburg on Winchester Rd,

Arguably the best Starbucks in town. What makes the Starbucks different from the others is the staff. They go out of their way to get to know you and create an atmosphere that keeps you coming back for more.

By far the worst starbucks I’ve been to. I’ve drove around all morning trying to find one that managed to open because of the weather and this was the only one I found. I wish I would have just kept driving. The guy at the counter said MAYBE2 words and every time I asked something he would just look at me with this dumb@ss look on his face and just stand there till I said forget it… if my wife wasn’t pregnant and craving a smoothie thing I would have told them to give my money back and left. I will NEVERBEBACK!

Easley the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. The guy was not polite one of our drinks was not full. And they didn’t stir my drink well enough which is common at Starbucks, but all the other points made this a sub par visit to o e of my favorite chains.

I wish I could give this place two reviews, One for the weekday staff and one for the weekend. The weekday experience was great. They had good coffee and a very friendly staff but on the weekend their was a coffee nazi and she was extremely unpleasant. I strongly suggest she find a line of work where interacting with other people is frowned upon.

Consistently slow, and consistently poor quality. The worst Starbucks I’ve visited in Lexington – the only real positive here is that it’s the most convenient for me. Workers seem unusually(for Starbucks) bored and surly. If I order anything other than a black coffee, my drink is usually poorly blended, of an undesirable temperature, or just wrong.

This is the second Starbucks location I have visited here in Lexington, and have not been impressed with the service thus far at either location.

This is the best morning Starbucks crew I’ve ever seen in action, especially when you consider how busy their drive-thru always is! Quick service with a smile every time I’ve been there:)

Best Starbucks in Lexington, always friendly service and they are quick to make any errors correct, the only bad thing I can say is they are always out of cherry tarts

This is my favourite Starbucks location in town, and sometimes I’ll hold off my Starbucks stop until I know I’ll be on Richmond Rd. The interior is a bit on the smaller side. It’s cozy, but if you’re looking to go in and hang out, it’s best to avoid peak hours. The drinks are always made perfectly. What really shines though is the staff. I’ve never had a disinterested or unfriendly staff member while there. During the tornado warnings last spring, I holed up in Starbucks for several hours — they were all friendly and even gave a couple free drinks to me and another visitor since they were training a new barista. I’ve had a couple people remember me when I go in, but everyone is always friendly. Top-notch for customer service.

My daily Starbucks stop. The drive thru is convenient especially considering the small, narrow parking lot. Service can be hit or miss but employees Rachel and Jonathan make up for this with their awesome service and drinks. The interior of this location is small, so not the most ideal Starbucks if you’re looking for somewhere to lounge or surf the internet.
