My wife picked up Panda Express to go which we have had on numerous occasions. On this visit we each chose two entrees and one side along with a Chicken Egg Roll. The Orange Chicken was tender and flavorful with plenty of sauce. No petrified pieces of chicken like what’s served at some Chinese takeout restaurants. The Beijing Beef(crispy beef, bell peppers, and onion in a sweet-tangy sauce) was also delicious with a nice texture and the right amount of peppers and onions. The Sweetfire Chicken Breast wasn’t as good as I wanted it to be. Didn’t like the shape and size of the chicken and there wasn’t enough sauce, peppers, onions, or pineapple. The Honey Walnut Shrimp would have been good but they were out of glazed walnuts. Really? The Chow Mein had a nice mixture of noodles and vegetables but was lacking any sauce. It was dry and lacking flavor so we had to doctor it up with plum sauce, the only thing we had on hand. A brown sauce would make this item much more palatable. One last note, the chicken egg rolls didn’t have enough cabbage or crispness inside. Not similar to what most restaurants serve. We’ve been more impressed in the past than on this visit. I hope this establishment reads it’s Unilocal reviews and makes adjustments.

I stopped in today after reading the glowing review in yesterday’s paper, photo and all. The buffet is supposed to be available until 3pm on weekends, but NOT today. My server whispered«come early». Noted. I ordered the cold sesame noodles prominently featured in the newspaper review. My noodles didn’t look like the photo. Mine was missing the greenery. The flavor was toasted sesame oil and soy sauce. The noodles were very oily. I suspected that they scraped it from the buffet remnants. The newspaper reviewer was served something much different from what I was served. Either that, or she was half starved and thought her noodles were delicious. The crab wontons were runny. I took a chance. No need to do that again. I ordered a dish that my server explained as «shrimp in the Chinese way». I agreed since she thought I’d prefer it over salt and pepper shrimp. I wish I had read the description. The shrimp were spicy and tasty, but the plate was FULL of green bell pepper. My fault, I should have read the description. My server was adorable and attentive. She appeared visibly pained that I did not wish to have a «to go» box. The interior is nice. I’ll try again soon. My meal with 2 Chinese beers was $ 36. OOPS! This review was intended for Panda Cuisine.

Panda is the best place ever. Try their brown rice with teriyaki sauce and honey walnut shrimp when it is really hot. It’s amaZing. Don’t get it if it looks like it’s been out all day because it just tastes weird. Also get their signature orange chicken or black pepper chicken. Fave Fave Fave!

I had the chicken and string beans. I got huge pieces of tender chicken and crunchy string beans. I would have had more to est but was looking for a small portion that I could wolf down. I’ll definitely be back again. They have a great selection to choose from.

I absolutely love Panda Express. If this is your first time, try the honey walnut shrimp. It’s the best thing ever. Don’t forget to get some teriyaki sauce for your fried rice too.

Really enjoy their unique dishes and how they are willing to let you sample their offerings before you order. My first time there and I sampled three or four items before ordering and I never felt like they were irritated or bothered by this at all. Beijing beef and the Chinese ribs are excellent as well as the orange and sweet and sour chicken. Great place to try if you are like me and not familiar with different Chinese dishes. Different in a good way from most Chinese restaurants in this area.

First Panda Express I have seen with a drive thru. Tried the Chinese Ribs and they were amazing. One star off because they opened at 11:05, not 11 a.m. Slackers!

Went through the drive thru here and the only complaint was the wait in line a little longer than other fast food places. Tried the chicken and mushroom and honey tempura shrimp both were good but the shrimp was a little too sweet. I could eat tons of the chicken though and you get good portions for the price including a side.

I was disappointed that I didn’t like my first visit to Panda Express more. The service seemed inattentive and awkward. The Pepper Chicken had a strange texture, like soft fat. I couldn’t finish it. However, the Angus Steak was good. The chicken potstickers were bland, but okay for their price(under $ 2). I will try this place again if I’m having a major hankerin’ for Chinese, as I find it more appealing than the average Chinese take-out place. But I only recommend it with caution.

Absolutely disgusting. Lo mein tasted like it had been sitting for days. Orange chicken tasted like it had been refrigerated for days. Ate about half the meal before I had the strong urge to vomit.

After waiting over an hour for delivery, they finally called and asked what my phone number was. Then they asked me what I had ordered. Then I handed the phone to my boyfriend and left the room. 20 minutes later, the food arrived. The appetizers were barely warm. I felt I had been punked. $ 46 was our total but I wouldn’t pay some one $ 5 for the Panda Express experience again. What a complete joke.

The food was lacking something in terms of flavor. Maybe because Americans don’t really like flavor unless it’s fat or salt? The dishes were all the same for the most part, battered and wok(deep fried) chicken. I had the kung pow and orange chicken. The service was polite but when I asked for a sample they used a tooth pick that still had the wrapper on it? I don’t eat plastic maybe they do. If they are to lazy to take the wrapper off a tooth pick then what else are they to lazy to do in the kitchen? Ultimately the food made me sick for 2 days. Mild food poisoning. I don’t usually eat fast food because of poor quality and you are what you eat and I seriously believe this. I’ll never eat at this chain again which sucks because I really love some fried rice with vegetables. For the price you can do better in terms of quality but they do give you quantity.

Panda Express is unique in being a Chinese fast food restaurant with a drive through. After a long evening of shopping wearing six inch wedge sandals I was thrilled to not have to park and walk inside on my sore feet. I ordered orange chicken and chow mein. The orange chicken was wonderfully fried and sauced. It didn’t have any gristle or fat on it! The chow mein was actually not only vegetables, but also noodles. It was okay, but not very flavorful.

Ok so I’m not a real big Chinese food fan but I really liked this place. I liked the fact that you could chose different options and sizes. I had the sweet fire chicken and it was awesome sauce! Will eat here again. :)

Panda Express on Nicholasville Road was very good today. My only complaint would be that not all the food was available at the time we ate there. We were there at 11:15 am so they might not have had everything cooked yet.

This was my first visit to Panda Express. I know it was just another fast food Chinese place so wasn’t expecting a lot. The place was very clean as was the food prep areas. They were out of a couple Dishes and hadn’t refilled them yet. I had the sweet and sour chicken. It was okay. I wasn’t impressed with the food. The sweet and sour sauce seemed to have a taste of heavy vinegar. I would much rather have Golden wok on Richmond Rd than here. To me it was just mediocre.

I don’t know why I give it a 4 star instead of a 5. It may be because of some of the customers. Seriously, you don’t need to eat five pounds of food at a meal. AND, YOUDON’T NEEDTOUSECHOPSTICKSJUSTBECAUSEIT’S ORIENTALFOOD. Quit looking like a dope– forks ARE ok. The service is very friendly. The place is very clean– probably because it is very new, but the staff cleans it up fairly well. There are dirty tables. The food is fresh and delicious. The portions are generous and it’s easy to get a great meal at a great price. It’s also easy to spend a lot of money. Pay attention to what you order, and order less than you think you should. You’ll probably still have more than you need. They’ll let you split sides and entrees. I like to get a small side, which I get half steamed veggies and half fried brown rice. YUMM. And, it’s a full meal. I add iced tea… and the total price is under $ 4.00 !! Speaking of iced tea… they have a passion tea and a sweet tea. I find that if I fill the cup with ice, put a teaspoon of passion tea, then fill it with sweet tea– it is perfect. All passion tea is overpowering to me. That’s all for now. I’ll keep coming back. Oh, and I forgot to mention they have a drive thru. I may change the rating to a five later, but the customers… seriously! !

It’s Chinese fast food. So don’t get your expectations too high. They serve the same food and in the same way you would have at the mall. You get your choice of rice(white or brown) or chow mein with 2 entrees. They give you a generous amount of food with enough for left-overs to take home. They have a decent dining area which is clean and bright. I really nice place to get some good, quick«Americanized Chinese food.» We had a good experience but not enough to give 4 stars.

Hit the spot. Pretty standard Panda. Some of the tables were less than clean with rice and noodle remnants. They didn’t skimp on the portions, which made me happy. The bathrooms were nice and clean.

Great chinese fast food. I always get the orange chicken and lo-mein which I gather is a popular combo. Kind of pricey for fast food and when I asked for a water I received a cup about the size of a small coffee mug.
