Off Tha Hookah

Strange location, but overall an amazing environment. The hookah is awesome, and so is the staff and the food. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The hookah is well-​prepared, the environment is friendly and clean, and the menu has a lot of variety, which you don’t find at many hookah bars from where I’m from.
I came here because I saw it had good reviews and I’m glad to see that I made the right choice by doing this.
It’s a nice place. I would recommend this to fellow hookah smokers passing through Lexington.

1. Welcoming, comfortable, and clean interior. There is outside seating (seats about 8 – 10 people), which is covered… so regardless of weather, outside seating is assured!
2. Quality hookahs! I have tried all the Lexington hookah places and this is by far the best!
3. Good costumer service. Staff checked in periodically to see if we need anything. I expressed to the staff that I would like to seat outside, but since there were costumers outside already there was no room. Once the outside freed up the waiter asked whether we would like to move. I really appreciated that he not only remembered but was ready to move us.
4. Knowledgeable staff. Often at hookah places the staff places the coals to burn and dry out the shisha quicker. The staff was not pulling any tricks on us, but took care of our hookah and assured a good experience. Our hookha was looked after, coals were regularly replenished without us having to request it.
Will def. be returning! :)

Great place good atmosphere good clean vibe and the place to be to chill and have a good time me and my friend love it here and it’s also a good place to take the family too good music friendly staff and they even got food to check them out you.

Walked in and everything was set up nicely, well lit and CLEAN! Usually places try to disguise filth with very dim lighting. Not the case here, very clean. Music wasn’t blasting– could easily carry on a conversation. Shisha was good, with a good selection. Price was comparable to other hookah bars in the area.
Employees need to be more tentative with bringing/​changing coals, otherwise would have gotten 5 stars. It was pretty chilly in there and the coals burnt up quick.
All in all I had a good experience and will definately be back.

I had a pretty good experience here. The quality and variety of the shisha was great — lots of flavors, and three different brands. The couches were decently comfortable, certainly better than café tables and chairs, though not as comfortable as a really good, overstuffed couch would be.
The drink selection was a little disappointing because I generally like to have tea with my hookah, but all they had was Lipton’s — one kind, no other flavors or brands. You’d think a place fashioning itself as being full of middle eastern culture (food, hookah, etc) would have some decent tea, maybe mint, black, and chai?
Luckily, they did had turkish coffee, which I liked. It was a tad sweet for my taste, but very flavorful and served correctly.
The person working seemed shy and awkward, but very attentive. He was uncomfortable answering almost any question and seemed surprised by me asking such head-​scratchers as «What kind of tea do you have?» and «Can I mix shisha flavors?».
But, ultimately he provided very good service, getting me what I needed, and constantly managing the coals for my hookah. I stayed for almost 3 hours and he must have cleaned out the head and changed coals at least 5 times.
Like other reviewers, I too tried to use the Unilocal Deal offered, $ 13 for $ 10. And just like a previous reviewer, the guy working had straight up no idea what I was talking about.
I explained what a Unilocal Deal was, showed him the business’ Unilocal page, and explained how all he needed was this code I provided. It clearly was not happening, so I just told him to call the owner, which he did, and everything got straightened out.
So I was able to use my deal and left happy, but it would be good if Mike S. followed through on what he said he’d do, and make sure all employees are up to date on how to accept the Unilocal Deal.
I wish I could do 3.5 stars since I did enjoy my time, but there were just a couple too many problems keeping this from being a 4 star review.
I would go back if ever in the area again.

It’s a good place to go. The chairs and couches are more comfortable than Prince, but I think it’s a bit more expensive. The flavors are good, the staff is really nice, and the location can’t really be beat. The only thing I disliked about it was the atmosphere, and that’s a personal preference thing. I went at 2 am with some friends on a Friday night and they were playing loud music, which isn’t exactly my thing. Another time I went in the afternoon (maybe 3:30 pm on a Thursday), and it was fairly calm and chill. I guess what time you go should depend on what you’re looking for. If you think the atmosphere is for you, I recommend it.
Moreover, and perhaps most importantly, the staff is really attentive to the happiness of the customers. I don’t know that you’d get better service anywhere else; I know I haven’t. The overall experience makes this place worth it.

Unilocal said they opened at 2pm on Sun, on they phone they said 5pm, on the door it said 7pm. Anyway, went there and all the tables were turned upside down and they were cleaning and plastering the walls. Nevertheless, my mind was set on hookah and they’re the only place open on Sun. I had headphones and could get away from the loud, bad rap music and the annoying construction going on.
I also had problems using my Unilocal deal. Nobody working there understood what it meant or how to redeem it.
The hookah I had leaked a little and all of the other equipment I observed was definitely roughly used… seems weird for a place that just opened.
Finally, no coffee. No regular coffee, no turkish coffee, not even instant. First hookah place I’ve been to without coffee.
I won’t be going back.
