I wanted something sweet to go with my lunch so I decided to pop in to get a cupcake. I bought 5 cupcakes for less than $ 7.00. Now that’s rare. They tasted great! The guy who helped me was very nice and polite. I would definitely go back.

Donuts are delicious with a lot of substance to them, and the Apple Fritters are by far the best in town. Highly recommend, and they do great cakes/​cupcake-​cakes for birthdays too!

In the dystopian present, there are times when you have to make a decision about what kind of person you are going to be.
As you roll out of bed and turn on the flickering bathroom light, the thought of revenge comes to mind. The cold linoleum floor against your bare feet keeps you grounded in reality and you have only one thought and obsession.
Breakfast.
You finish brushing your teeth and grab your worn leather jacket and tight jeans and run out the door, following your heart to Donut Days, knowing there will be coffee, donuts, and plenty of time to plot your revenge.
You gaze into the donut case and begin to smile about the innocent days of past, before the society crumbled and the militarization of police reached new heights. The tribute tax you were going to give the Chief will be spent on a delectable middle finger that is covered with chocolate.
Nobody knows who you are, and nobody cares. It doesn’t faze you at all. You all share the same love of a sugar rush for breakfast. These fried cakes will get you through your mission.

Donut Days is one of the best bakeries in Lexington, so I’m thrilled that they’ve opened a location in Chevy Chase. This store brings in all their baked goods from the Southland Drive location, but deliveries are made once a day or more, so everything’s fresh. The doughnuts, of course, are amazing and cheaply priced at 75 cents each, but they have lots more, including good coffee and cookies. They’ll fulfill almost any request for cookies, cakes, and other baked goods. I especially love their petite-​fours; I think the chocolate icing must be the same that they use for the doughnuts.
