This is one of three Lexington Logan’s locations. It’s the oldest one too. I used to eat here as a date meal, and even a few times with a group of coworkers. I never was the one who picked it as the spot, I would just join. Today I ate lunch here with my daughter. It was a half way between her work place and mine, so that’s my excuse for giving this place another shot. She arrived first and told the waiter about the time crunch and went ahead and put in her burger and fry order before I arrived. I put in my order once I got there, but both arrived at the same time, about thirty minutes after I ordered. The weird thing was that mine seemed like it sat a bit. For example, the butter for my baked potato was completely melted and the vegetable skewer was barely warm. The vegetable platter isn’t on the menu here, but it is at the other location, so I knew it to be an option. It included four sides, which could include one side salad. The croutons on the salad were hard as rocks, but other than that, the salad was the best part of my lunch. I’d asked for a mushroom skewer, but I was served what I’m quite sure we’re from a can or a jar. For the sake of time and trying not to send them back, I attempted and ate one bite, and almost gagged. I ended up sending the order of cold, slimy fungi back. I’m sure I’ll be back because someone insists on a franchise, but it’s not a place I’d recommend, but that area of town is lacking options.

We eat here pretty regularly however we will likely reconsider any future visits. First, they have specialty table displays for their Sam Adams Oktoberfest, so we ordered one. The waitress left and returned with the sad news that they were all out, we then asked for Miller Lite instead, sadly they were all out of that too. To our surprise, they were out of most of their beer selections after, what the waitress called, a «busy Saturday». My fiancé and I discussed leaving however we decide to stay. We then ordered the prime rib which was served cold(yuck!)! At the end of our dinner, which was mediocre to say the least, we ordered decaf coffee, which was also served cold!!! Considering what we spent on dinner, we could have had a better experience at some of the other local restaurants and will do so in the future.

Stopped for lunch today with my Mom, a friend & our daughters. Service: this began slow but we discovered our server had been seated approx 4 or so tables at once. She kept our beverages filled and rolls fresh, did the best she could, no fault of hers. Food: we placed our orders and Heather brought our salads out. Missing one, easily fixed. The manager brought our food out a short bit later. My tilapia was nearly cold & the two chopped steaks were overcooked. One order of chicken tenders came out with 3, yes, three fries on the plate. Manager took them and replaced the meals. Friends potato came out cold this time. At this point, we were done. Over it. The visit itself was unpleasant based on the kitchens lack of attention to the orders. I understood the service part, been there done that industry. While the manager was extremely nice & ended up coming the meal, that doesn’t erase the awful that this visit was. It truly pales in comparison to recent visits. I know there are bad days, but wow. I hope the issues today are addressed by management and resolved for future customers.

Not what it used to be! The service was ok. The food was ok. The drinks were ok. Nothing spectacular here which is a shame because once upon a time it was a pretty good place. Oh well come if you have nothing better to do. It will be ok.

Staff was very friendly but we were here for 45 mins before we got our entrees. We got here at 4 pm on a Tuesday and it wasn’t busy at all. I ordered the filet and was very disappointed. It was very tough for a filet and also pretty overcooked. My boyfriend ordered a sirloin that was also overcooked but much more tender than mine. We honestly wonder if they got our steaks mixed up. Would not recommend.

It’s a busy little hoppin’ joint! Reminds of the Texas Roadhouse we have in Boise, Idaho. I had the shrimp trio topped off with their banana cream pie. Service was speedy and efficient. I’d tell a friend !

Only the second Logans I have ate at. The bread is delicious but the butter was terrible. Wasn’t real hungry so I went with a 6oz filet with sweet tater fries and broccoli. Filet was medium and tasted great, had a little fat that I wouldn’t expect on a small filet. Fries and broccoli both were great!

Took my family here for a bite to eat. There was no greeter at the front door. It was no big deal though but the one located in the Fayette Mall area has 2. Anyway a lady asked us how many in our part and didn’t even ask if we wanted a booth or table. She also looked like she didn’t want to be there. So we were seated to the left of the place right behind a damn cash register. WTF. Every time I took a bite I though someone was watching me eat from behind. Our waiter was excellent. She was very friendly and chirpy. One thing though is that I ordered the Baby Back ribs for 17.99 and she said do you want a full rack or half? I was thing just give me what I’m paying for. The waiter bought rolls which by the way were kinda hard and we had to get more. Food arrived in a good time frame. The waiter was on top of it with refills and if we wanted anything else. Ordered some chicken baskets for the kids, a steak for the wife and ribs for myself. Food looked and tasted great except for the sautéed mushrooms. They tasted like beach water in Florida. Music was at a modest level for around 2PM but it was all country. I have no problem with it but the others have more variety. It was an OK visit but I will not be back. I think the weighted should work at another Logan’s as the people I experienced there seem like her type. BTW, you can’t put peanut shells on the floor. Hope this review helps someone.

Had a decent dinner from the $ 7.99 menu — lots of entrée choices and two sides — plenty of sides even if half of them are potatoes fixed some way. Good salad with peppercorn dressing — croutons great if you like garlic(I don’t). Got the grilled chicken with the peppercorn ‘sauce’ which was good, served over rice that was not done. The homemade chips are great. And of course, who doesn’t like that bread and butter. But I remember why we don’t go there often — not because of the food which is fine, or the service which was pretty good tonight, and not because of the price because it was quite reasonable, but because it is always so dang cold. We were freezing the whole time — could not wait to get out of there. Took a bag of peanuts to go tho :)

I was invited out here by some friends and didn’t know what to expect… pleasant surprise! First we walk in and there is a sign informing us that there will be loud music and peanuts on the floor. Okay??? Peanuts? Well yes… there were indeed peanut shells all over the floor. I did not see anyone eating peanuts so this seemed odd. If you have a peanut allergy, not your restaurant. We came straight from the barn(read: I had dust and hay all over my ass) and this was not a problem. Not at all a scuzzy place but not upscale.(Note: just because I go to a restaurant with hay and dust on my ass does not mean that it isn’t upscale. Ouch holy double negative. What I mean is, I have no damn shame. I will roll up to a 5 star establishment straight from the barn.) The complimentary yeast rolls at the table were excellent. A+. We started off with potato skins that were topped with bacon and cheese and served with sour cream. Yum! I also got a house salad as one of my sides. Simple but surprisingly good(and since it’s Kentucky it was of course topped with bacon.) For my entrée I got an 8oz sirloin steak with fries. Seriously one of the best steaks I have had in a while… no sauce required! It was topped with fried onions and freakin deeeeeeelish. I ordered medium rare and actually got a legit medium rare. Not quite melt in your mouth quality but pretty damn close. I didn’t order it rare because I’m always a little hesitant at unknown restaurants(I like my steak pretty damn raw but for obvious reasons I don’t do this everywhere). This was high enough quality steak that I would order rare next time. And the fries. Omg they didn’t fuck up the fries! Hallelujah! They also didn’t fill the plate with 800 calories worth of fried potato which is awesome because I didn’t leave feeling like a major fat ass. I’m big on finishing my plate and I hate when I get so much freakin food that I feel like I’m going to puke when I walk out the door. It was exactly the right amount of food and that’s rare. The service was efficient and polite, but as they were very busy, not exceptionally friendly. Our waiter did come by several times to check on us and the food came out fast fast fast. I will definitely come back here! From the outside it looks like a meeeh steakhouse-in-a-box kind of place, but if tonight is any indication of their norm(and I hope it is), I might just be a regular. Oh and PS my 8oz sirloin with 2 sides cost only like $ 13…not too shabby!

I understand that this is a steakhouse, but someone recommended the Fried Catfish — so I got that. It wasn’t quite as crispy as I thought it should be. The vegetables were great — I got the steamed broccoli and seasonal vegetables on a kabob. That made my lunch. Also, the yeast rolls are excellent. I ate no less than seven.
