I wouldn’t even give 1 star, today’s lunch was a complete joke! Our server Nathan approached the table chomping on his gum(must have been really good), slammed the drinks on the table, so hard, I checked to see if a glass was broken, placed our order, came out cold, spoke with the manager and her response was«we’ve never had this problem«also nothing was ever cleared from the table so we had 5 empty glasses lining the edge of the table, is addition to plates and dressing cups! A complete waste of time and money, yes had to pay for meal which was the icing on the very bad cake!!! I will NEVER eat here again!!! If you get Nathan if you go move to another table!

Got here and ordered some chips and queso. It arrived promptly and was pretty good. We then waited 50 minutes for our main dish. I ordered the pot pie and my friend ordered half of a club sandwich with potato soup. When the pot pie arrived it was actually pretty flavorless. It just didn’t have any taste to it. The potato soup was good though as well as the chips. I probably won’t be back though

Good solid restaurant. I’ve never been let down no matter what I ordered on the menu. However my only criticism is that of all Lexington chain — type restaurants… overpriced. But like I said, and this is not specific to Cheddar’s. Although I don’t know this for a fact, my personal belief is that pretty much most of Lexington chain type restaurants get their food, frozen, from most likely the same distributor and simply cook it up a little bit differently. In the end, Cheddar’s cooks it up very well but, again, like most Lexington chain — type restaurants, their atmosphere and other things do not justify the price. However, I must say that out of all the restaurants I’ve been to in Lexington the staff that I have repeatedly seen there have been the most friendly and courteous out of any here in Lexington. Hooray for you…, the staff of Cheddar’s!(you all in particular get five stars)

Love Cheddars since I don’t have one where I live, food is great and low cost but service is always slow

Possibly our worst visit so far. Our waiter was okay you could say. Some of food was actually food and on top it was dead. Cold food. Got my honey right before I left and was told by the waiter«better late than never» not a good experience.

This is an okay restaurant. Not much consistency for service or food. I would say this is just an average American restaurant, there’s nothing special about it, but I will go back. Up charges for a lot of things. Croissants are good. Texas cheese fries are good. Sides are nothing outstanding or different from any other sides you’ll find at an American restaurant.
My ultimate favorite restaurant. Great service, great food at an even better price. I highly recommend coming here any and every time ;) Their coffee is very good too, along with their large portioned desserts. Never been disappointed from this restaurant ever;)

I thought this was a family friendly restaurant. We were sat in the bar area with a two year old and there were no crayons or coloring sheets… that was the first thing that I thought was odd. The food and service were ok. I use to love this place and was just disappointed by this experience.

Good food. Sat on the patio. They were dog friendly and offered water for our dogs. We both had lunch special of sandwich, salad and baked potato.

Place has great food. I use to love coming here and being able to get full for less than 10 bucks. Their prices have rose a bit other than that. Wish they had one near my house

The Monte Crisco sandwich is delicious. If your on a diet might not be the best but is well worth it if you want to cheat. The deep fried ham turkey cheese sandwich sprinkled with powder sugar and raspberry jam to dip it in is one of my favorite meals. Also have had the chicken finger platter(buffalo style) portions are large and filling. Broccoli casserole is a great side.

I ate dinner with three coworkers. The parking lot was packed when we arrived at 6:45. But we only had to wait a few minutes before we were seated.. Our waitress brought us menus and we ordered our drinks. They were delivered veered fairly promptly. We ordered the meals and salads came quickly. The main courses took a while. Those who ordered the beer battered shrimp said it was delicious. I had the key west chicken and shrimp. It came with rice and two sides. I ordered the broccoli cheese casserole which was yummy and the coleslaw which was average at best. The chicken and shrimp were good, especially when dipped in the sweet sauce. Total bill plus tip for four meals and 4 soft drinks was $ 65.00. If I go back, I’ll get the beer battered shrimp.

Went with family for lunch & it was very good. We had chicken pot pie(outstanding), chicken tortilla soup(very good), grilled fish tacos(excellent), fries, grilled chicken salad, and kiddie grilled cheese. Everyone was happy; nobody left hungry; prices were reasonable. Solid comfort food and very wide menu options plus good service make this a good choice for lunch or dinner.

Good food and best value for your $$ if your just looking for a good deal and are a value eater this is your place. Most all the food is good and you get a lot of it. Service has always been not so good here IMHO. Servers tend to have a chip on there shoulders or something and are slow to make their rounds to your table.

This is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. On the two occasions I have eaten here the food has been better than I expected. I came in thinking that I was going to hate it because it’s a chain similar to Applebees, which I strongly dislike however, I have proven wrong this far. The Cajun pasta that I ate tonight was good, it was just not as spicy as I like it, but I understand the playing the middle ground for the masses. The biggest reason to eat here, becides the food being, is that it’s such a value. The prices are more than reasonable. My wife, our three small boys, and I ate for $ 35 before the tip. We all had water to drink and the boys shared a huge plate of chicken fingers, but this is still a great deal, as we ate at a fast food restaurant recently for nearly the same amount.

This is one of my favorite places in Lexington, where I get the most bang for my buck. It reminds you of higher class Applebee’s. This location is conveniently located off of ManoWar Boulevard in Hamburg, in the Brighton Place shopping area. The food portions are huge. I usually get the vegetable plate, starting with a salad, including three other sides for $ 7.29… I told you that you get a lot of bang for your buck. Other classic menu items that they have are chicken and waffles, buffalo chicken wrapper, cat fish, Shepherd’s Pie, country fried chicken and many more that I’m forgetting. I almost forgot the mention the buttery croissant rolls! One irresistible roll per side salad. They tend to have a lot of male servers and I never have any issues with service. There is often a wait list, but the tables along the bar are self seat… if there are any available.

If you are looking for casual American dining, skip Applebee’s and all of those other cookie cutter places and try Cheddar’s! Cheddar’s has great prices. They are noticeably less expensive than other restaurants in the same category. On my last visit I had the vegetarian sampler, which included a salad, a buttery and flaky crescent roll, and four vegetables/sides. This meal was I believe about $ 7.49. The quality of food is very good as well. You don’t feel like they just sprinkled MSG all over your food before serving it to you. If you feel like cheating on your diet or don’t have one, then order the Monte Cristo sandwich. It is melt in your mouth delicious! Another thing to order if calories aren’t a concern for you-the onion rings as a appetizer. They are a little over $ 4 for a huge plate of them. And they are perfect! Cheddar’s is a chain, but Greer Companies, the parent company, is located here in Lexington.

I love Cheddars! To me they have the best price for the amount of food you get. I’ve been to both locations in Lexington and both are great. I love the honey Dijon chicken, their salads and crescent rolls. Their ribeye isn’t bad either. My husband loves their ribs and you can’t beat the price for a full rack at 14.99!!! Their onion rings are awesome and a huge serving for 3.99 or so I believe. I’ve had the key west chicken and shrimp and it’s really good as well. They have the best broccoli casserole. Always enjoy coming here.

Why go to Cheddars? It’s cheap comfort food. The prices are more than fair and you cannot overlook the value if you’re feeding a family of five, which I am. We’ve never had a bad meal here but it’s nothing to rant and rave over. I think it’s a perfect family style eatery that doesn’t break my budget and has something for everyone on their menu. Our go to meals are: –Chicken Pot Pie –Buffalo Chicken Wrap –Spasgna The service is normally pretty decent. If it’s busy, it does slow down a bit but that’s par for the course. They work very hard and the staff is not lazy.
