COMPLETE weddings + events

We had Thomas as the DJ for our wedding and he was definitely something special! He talked extensively before hand with us to confirm all of our wishes and get an idea of exactly what we wanted. The day of, he got the party started and he kept it going until the end! He knew exactly how to get people up and dancing! He was great at feeling out the energy of the room and figuring out exactly what to play next. He took all my requests, played all the songs we discussed and was very accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend Thomas and Complete Weddings.

We were just at a wedding hosted by this DJ and were thoroughly unimpressed. First, he made comments in between the speeches like, «good luck following that one up.» That’s not terrible, but poor form IMO. His music selection was bad. There were times when people would be dancing and he’s switch to some profanity-​riddled rap song, thus clearing out the whole dance floor. When the song’s refrain repeats the phrase «mother fucker» it may not be a great choice for a wedding.
But who knows, maybe someone requested that song. However, if he was just aiming to please, maybe he shouldn’t act like a dick when my fiancée and another friend tried to make requests.
We still had a great time at the wedding and he seemed to have a very professional set of equipment. He just really needs to learn how to read the crowd and maybe consider the radio-​edit versions if he’s playing a wedding with an older crowd.
