This is a follow up on the terrible experience that I had with Gene, the new owner of Smith Farm and Garden as of 2015. He has changed the name of his company to North Texas Farm and Garden. Please read the first review that is posted on this Unilocal page. I went to use my Honda riding lawn mower for the first time since receiving it back from Gene. My right rear tire was flat. Normally this would not be a big issue but Gene told me that he personally made sure that this tire was repaired.

This review is also for the North Texas Farm and Garden(previously Smith Farm and Garden) in Lewisville. Have been dealing with Bill Bode who spent serious time with my wife in helping her select the best mower for her needs(she loves to mow!). We took it in for the annual spring tune up and picked it up today. Work was done as promised and the price is what was agreed upon. Also got to meet the new owner Gene today and we will definitely continue to frequent their establishment.

The person at Smith Farm & Garden might have sold me a brand new Toro if she hadn’t too quickly told me to «Call Sears» after I asked about repairing the grass catcher on my Craftsman mower. She seemed irritated at answering questions. So be it — Our business will go to Northern Tools, Lowe’s, or Ace in Coppell.

Not a good experience. The employees are rude, unfriendly, never smile & don’t seem eager to help. The blower I bought from them quit working within a couple of weeks of the warranty expiration. They charged me $ 25 to check it & said it was out of warranty. I probably won’t go back again
