InterSkate Skate Outlet

Not impressed. Wanted starter derby gear. It was nice to be able to go into a store and try on skates instead of ordering but… guy that helped me didn’t know anything about gear or skates. Nothing. He said he was new. I basically figured it out by myself while he stood there. I had to ask for the mouth piece and the free bag that was included. I was so paranoid he’d given me the wrong merchandise when I left I stood in the parking lot going through everything. Bad feeling the whole time. My advice is to take someone familiar with you.

Kind of ghetto… Djay never stops singing and mumbling into the mic. On our first visit my son and his friend lost $ 1 in a tattoo machine… they told the manager, an elderly blonde woman, who first acted as though she didn’t believe them… then told em if they lost any more she wouldn’t be refunding it to them. This embarrassed my son and so I went to let her know that she didn’t need to be ugly to them… it wasn’t their fault that her machines were faulty. She told me that my kids were lying and then squished her face all a screw and said she wasn’t rude either! I told her she was continuing to be rude by my account. Won’t be returning!

We walked in and were not greeted. In fact I started walking towards the guy and he ran away to the back to do something. So I went and browsed some skates on my own. I needed to purchase some for my niece in india so I only had her size in inches. The employee finally came out and was able to help me in figuring out what size she was so that was helpful. I asked him for the cheapest price or sales if they have any since they are an outlet… and it’s the winter why are skates so expensive? Cheapest was the same price I could get at Dick’s Sporting Goods… $ 55. I don’t know why they say they are an outlet but the prices are the same. Did not purchase and I do not recommend this place.

Got my latest pair of speed skates from here. Painless process, great deal, love the skates. They replaced my previous pair from 2006 which was just ready to be retired. Reidell boots, aluminum plates, Radar Flat Outrageous wheels. I gave them my budget and they gave me a set of skates that came in right under it.

Love RGS! I have played derby for four years now and the staff here are always super helpful and knowledgable. So glad they have a storefront now! Weapon is the best!

I have always come here for any skate gear. The staff is very friendly and always make sure I get what I need. They have a huge supply of skates, wheels, pads… It’s like going into a toy store for me. Ask for Weapon X shes amazing!!!

The negative reviews seen here seem to be from skaters in leagues that are to the north who are affiliated with a new skate shop that just opened in their area… hmmmmm, curious…
We are a derby family. I’ve outfitted my wife, myself, and our youngest with full pairs of skates and countless additional parts and accessories.
Truth is this:
I’ve dealt with RGS for several years.
Service — ALWAYS friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and staffs skaters from all the leagues, with the exception of the ones to the north mentioned above.
Pricing — On par with all competitors, but you don’t have to pay for shipping on most items.
Return Policy — Leading class. I ordered a part in store, that was to be delivered to my door. The part arrived, but the MANUFACTURER sent the wrong part. RGS staff contacted the manufacturer and had them ship the new part AND a return envelope. No additional charges and a fast resolution. Mistakes happen, we are human. This mistake was not by RGS fault, but they went above and beyond to get it corrected immediately!
This shop has earned my business and I live 30+ miles away. I don’t mind driving to get this of «Leading in Class» service. Price may bring you in the door, service is what keeps a loyal customer. They have my business.

Okay, the ridiculous level has gone up a notch while trying to actually get my skates in the proper size. Sent to the wrong place, not the right skates, then right skates wrong size, try the wrong ones now and we’ll get the new ones in soon, yes they’re here-​oops no they’re not but sorry you drove all the way out here, no your skates aren’t here yet but we’ll call when they are… and then a random pair of skates show up at my door. If you couldn’t follow it that mess, it’s even worse in person. This outlet is convenient and well priced if they have what you need right then and there. I wouldn’t bother ordering from them.
