Nick’s Pizza Pasta

Let me start out with this: the pizza and atmosphere WAS awesome. When I say WAS, I mean many months ago. They had the best deep dish Sicilian pizza that was absolutely amazing. We stopped in for dinner on 02÷11÷16 and had a very bad experience. The only good thing we had was the garlic cheesy bread. The ravioli appetizer was frost bit and was nasty tasting. The deep dish Sicilian pizza had this awful taste in the dough. The toppings still tasted good, but something about the dough was gross. It almost tasted like burnt plastic. The hubs and I were very upset and disappointed at the food we received. We will try this place at least one more time, but you bet your sweet butt that if its anywhere near what we had this evening we definitely will NOT be back!

I’ve lived out here 28 years. Nick’s has always been a classic around here. It is delicious, and has a comfortable atmosphere.

It’s been many years since I’ve eaten Nick’s pizza and now I know why. First of all, it took over an hour and a half to be delivered. Of course it was cold (I had the oven preheated and ready to zap it). The pizza is all bread and chewy. I had the house to myself tonight and was really looking forward to splurging on yummy pizza. I won’t be going back to Nick’s.

Nick’s has become I go to pizza in this area. I often order it at lunch for work, Saturday night parties or just weeknight dinners. The pizza is outstanding, one of my favorites. I cannot vouch for pasta or any other types of dishes they make outside of the few appetizers we order. By the way those advertisers have always been good. My only complaint with Nick’s, is the shaky service as of late. Not that it’s slow, it just seems like as a customer I can be a nuisance to them. But I have dealt with some younger kids as of late. This does not stop me from ordering, I still really enjoy this place

The food is great, and outshines the competition by a long shot. My girlfriend and I used to get our pizza from a place just around the corner from that was family owned and was phenomenal, but sadly closed down, so this was our next local pizza discovery. Fresh ingredients, reasonable price and it tastes great both fresh and the next day. The only downside is the service (at least when getting delivery) is awful. If you want the New York experience in Texas I guess this is one way to get it. Every time I call I get interrupted, refused service or otherwise feel like I have to fight to order food. They could really use some notes in courtesy, but honestly, the food is such a cut above the cardboard grease traps the competition is serving up, I’ll keep coming back as long as they’re open.

My wife and I ate there once and once only! The food was so-​so, the service wasn’t top notch and the owner was arrogant and rude. After paying $ 20 for two slices of pizza and a couple of drinks, we suffered from stomach issues the next day. We’ll never go back. Overpriced and not worth the stomach problems. I’ll stick with Pizza Hut. At least they don’t treat their customers disrespectfully.

You do NOT have to go to Dallas to have excellent Italian food! Nick’s is phenomenal & if you want ambiance, just wait until late at night. I highly recommend the Lobster Ravioli… heck, EVERYTHING at Nick’s is FANTASTIC! And, they DELIVER! Thank you, Nick, and your whole crew for great service, as well!

We ate here last weekend. Simple atmosphere. Not fancy, but the food was great. Service was good and responsive.
If you’re in the area you will enjoy this place. Great sauces. Perfect pasta.

Stromboli is my go to. However their house salad dressing is the best. My wife loves the salads. My son loves the pizza by the slice. We have never had a bad experience! Service is phenomenal.

Nick’s great food I asked for a nice clean pasta and OMG clean and simple but so yummy. Pizza by the slice satisfied. With all the tastes and wonderful food for you Italian cravings Nick’s is the place. The staff was also super awesome. Way to go to knock this girls dinner hunger out of the park and thanks again for the great service.

Made a late call on dinner and Nick’s came through! First time we ordered as transplanted Chicagoans. Great salad-​tomato vinaigrette –homemade-​is phenomenal and the pizza was great! Nice sized medium Veggie and perfectly portioned pepperoni, mushroom and jalapeño. WE HAVE FOUND OUR NEIGHBORHOOD PIZZA JOINT!

Great Pizza, and FAST Delivery to Highland Village. Crispy Think Pizza, Pretty Tasty. Always can count on these guys to be on time.

I really wasn’t impressed. First order=last order! I was charged for items I didn’t receive and was told delivery was free but was charged $ 3 for delivery.

Always good, the pizzas are always cooked just right. I’ve had the Stromboli and it was great. So much to choose from on the menu, lols like I need to keep going back.

This is the kind of place where you want to be a regular diner. Fantastic little Italian restaurant.

We are in Texas for the college national championship game driving by and saw good reviews on Unilocal for Nicks! They were right! Yummy specials with their pink sauce included a salad and great rolls for $ 11.95, lots of food! GO DUCKS!

This is my favorite restaurant ever!!! I have been going here for over 10 years and I have yet to be disappointed! From their amazing pizza to their delicious stuffed shells nicks pizza is the perfect place to fulfill a hungry stomach! The staff and everyone who work there never fail to make me feel welcomed! I will tell everyone about this place and I will continue to come back for many years to come!!! :)

I’ve been curious about trying this place and once I did I was extremely disappointed! First of all, the «Fried Cheese Ravioli» if that’s what you want to call it is not even fried! The prices just don’t match up with the quality of the food here, not at all! You’re better off ordering at Dominos.

Dude. Nick’s is amazing.
Our first time, four of us were on our way back from a quick jaunt at Lake Grapevine, and decided to stop at the closest place with Italian that popped up on Unilocal.Ordered a pasta dish each, two chicken and two regular spaghetti. Side salads all around and an order of rolls because bread. Took a taste of the tomato house vinaigrette, immediately had to go up to the counter and ask for more because it’s that good. One of us doesn’t even like tomatoes, and she was about to drink that shit. We all had leftovers for later that night, and couldn’t stop singing Nick’s praises.
Second time, just the lady and I went, got a chicken parm with angel hair instead and a calzone or something. Got two salads, extra dressing, and then went ahead and put an order in for a salad to go cause I’m prepared like that. The food was just as great, and still had leftovers.
The food isn’t fancy, and neither is the service or the restaurant. The food is GOOD, and there are tons of options. It’s a little pricey, but the satisfaction of taking home half a thing of oh-​so-​tasty food AND getting to say NICK’S PIZZA PASTA in your best faux-​Italian accent beats out the worn down chairs and odd location.

I love this place this is our goto pizza dilevery and eatery. Always fresh and always friendly, family owned is a plus. We always order a giant works and a large peperoni when we get delivery, well I should say we used to. I get Nick to surprise me sometimes too. I get them to send me a pie that they would make for themselves, never disappointed with what they have sent us. You should do yourself a favor and go in the first time, order a nice sampling of their pastas take your friends so you can eat family style and try it all.
